got this as a free gift on the LYB promotion day. it smells good, but the smell doesnt linger for long. not unique enough to make me want to buy this with money.

Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Satsuma Shimmer Lotion

this was friken hell. the shimmer was soooo irritating that it got into my nose,, make me sneeze,, make my skin itch all over to the point i had to wash my face and my body to get the itch to stop` the smell was fresh,, but if u were looking for something that smell sweeter, i wouldn't buy this` not worth the price if u can get allergic to it! the shimmer was shimmer more than glitter, which was what it was supposed to be~ its a shame that im very allergic to this. i havent try returning something at bath and body works, but when i phoned body shop to see if they do refunds or exchanges, that bitch on the phone gave me this "sucks to be you." attitude. wont be going back to body shop,, cus the staff at bath and body works sounded a lot friendlier when i asked them about their return and exchange policy cus they told me if an item is out of stock, i can always buy sumthing else first then exchange it for the item i'm waiting to come in stock~
Fragrances -Bath and Body Works - Twilight Woods Shimmer Body Mist

i love how the glitter looks on my skin *btw, i am a glitter person, so if u want very very subtle "shimmer" that is not visible to the human eye (there are people out there who would buy a "shimmer mist" and go "OMG GLITTER.EW!" ...pathetic.) then dont buy this~ but if ur a shimmer lover like i am, this is a very very good buy~ a little goes a long way with this 236ml bottle~ like all the other body mists ive tried, they tend to make my skin a lil red after i apply it but the redness goes away in 15 mins~

this doesnt spray out evenly, so u hv to use ur hands to spread the glitter` i like glitter, so i actualli loveeee how this looks on my skin~ the smell could be better, but thats just my taste, because my mom said it smelled more "fresh" than Twilight Woods but I personally like sweeter scents~ when i initially spray on this product, after a few minutes, my skin would turn a little red, but the redness goes away in about 15 minutes. the glitter lasts all day long if u dont touch it, so thats good~ the smell is not too overwhelming either.
Lotions/ Creams -Bath and Body Works - Secret Wonderland Sensual Swirl Body Lotion

this half gel half cream body lotion is pretty moisturizing. it kept my skin smoooooth for a very long time (put it on at night after shower and it still felt smooth in the afternoon the next day even after i took another shower in the morning!) the shimmers in the lotion are pretty subtle, which can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on ur taste for glitter~ the smell isnt very strong, which can also be a good or bad thing, depending on ur liking for the Secret Wonderland scent! this is only available during winter seasons, apparently, so stock up guys!
this didn't give me allergies and this was the only thing i worried about prior to buying this. i like how it didnt break me out either, which is good. as for pore refining, i havent been using this every single day as i'm worried about thinning my skin out, so i cant tell much of a difference, but at least i'm more relieved about taking dirt off my face right?
this is nearly impossible to wear during the day time, to be honest. the first day - and also the last day - i wore this out, with no make up over it, my boyfriend asked me why my face looked so oily. i dont know if its my imagination, but i think my skin did get a little whiter, but it might have also been all those masking i've been doing. also, this cream is pretty expensive, and the packaging sucks (not hygenic but at least u get to the very bottom of the jar~)
i don't know about you, but i LOVE this eye cream` i didn't get any annoying tiny bumps / pimples / anything unusual using this. it didn't sting my eyes or dry it out. however, i use this only at night because i rmb using this during day time once before i apply my make up and my eye make up ended up creasing (it normally does anyways, but just more =(!! ) gonna keep using this at night time because i didnt hv anyyyyy troubles with it, and trust me, i've tried A LOT of eye creams... and if u guys r looking for something to reduce dark eye circles... seriously.. give up. i've used this brand (argh, i forgot the same!) well, it came in a tube and its MADE for diminishing dark eye circles (bought it from costco.. it was extremely expensive too. the ad was very memorable, it was this pretty girl with black paint under her eyes LOL.) but yea. i've tried many creams / remedies.. and seriously.. dark eye circles r just things that u'll have to get rid of by sleeping more (in my case, even that doesn't work.. mine are genetic..) and put on concealer.. sad, i know.
i've been using water bank cream #2 since forever` it doesn't irritate my skin (believe me, a lot of products do, even H2o's skin care line)` i didn't experience any stinging, any break outs. kept my skin very soft` it's a must for my nightly routine!
these are one of those products that make u go "meh~" after using it.. your skin may feel softer after using it,, but seriously? i would rather do an egg mask or something more organic / cheaper.
sooo moisturizing` i use this before my moisturizers but after my toner~ wearing this alone isn't enough though. skin feels very very soft after using this =)
i didn't buy this, i got the anna sui rat tail comb as a gift from a friend years ago, still using it today! more pricey than it looks but meh, how bad can an expensive comb be?
i got this loose powder eye shadow in folie blanche. i LOVE how its so shimmery and the colour is perfect, but the packaging is SUCH a mess.. i hv glitter all over my drawer now becus of it.. no idea why everyone else like the packaging so much.. i absolutely hate it! *dabs finger into drawer for the shadow and dabs the shadow onto eye lids* this is just tidious. LOL. but yes. a little goes a longgg way for this eye shadow, but i feel so wasteful =( especially when it's such a pretty eye shadow!
i have 3 of these mirrors, they're just so pretty! they're so perfect (as long as you're okay with carrying around a mirror that's hm.. i would say a lil heavy in comparison to other compact mirrors, then you'll love these!) i have the black butterfly folding one,, the limited edition hand mirror in gold (MY FAVOURITE!!) and the white hand mirror (only available in asia and also comes in the folding style too). all look sooooo nice! totally worth the price when you get a LOT of compliments about it =)!
