Treatments -Kiehls - Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate

This is a great product and does what it says. Contrary to what some others have said this product is not oily or greasy at all. I have oily skin and as soon as I apply this it makes my skin look matte. It instantly makes a difference to the appearance of wrinkles, smoothing out the skin and making them much less deep. It also seems to have an excellent tightening effect on open pores. This is not a product for general overall facial use - you would not want to use it all over your face or indeed use it on its own. It is a product to apply under your regular moisturiser on those areas that are wrinkle-prone. Kiehls are super-generous with samples - ask any counter and you'll get a sachet of this product. I suggest squeezing it all out into a tiny pot and it will last you for ages - it will just dry up if you leave it in the sachet as you only need a very tiny amount each time. Recommended!

Powder -L'Oreal - True Match Minerals
rated 4 of 5

I have been wanting to try a mineral powder foundation for some time but didn't want to shell out £25 on a pot of powder that I might not like so when I saw that L'Oreal had brought out a mineral makeup and I could get it for £10 I was so excited! My excitement was not misplaced. I love this stuff!! It goes on easily. You can add more where you need more coverage (i.e. over spots or blemishes) and it still looks just like perfect skin instead of thick foundation. It stays on all day and doesn't slide off my oily nose area like liquid foundations do. So far it hasn't caused any breakouts. The packaging, however, is awful! I have transferred the powder into an old clinique powder pot that is more the shape and size of the ID minerals pots - much easier to deal with it this way. The brush it comes with is very scratchy but does actually do the job. You need a stiff bristled brush to be able to buff this into your face effectively. One thing I did notice when cleansing my face at night. My normal cleanser didn't take this off totally. I usually use a wash-off (Origins Checks and Balances) and then swab my nose area with Clean and Clear Blackhead just to keep those nasties away. Usually the cotton wool is clean afterwards but after using this foundation I could clearly see some of it on the cotton wool so had to go over my whole face again. Overall I really like this foundation - it makes me look like those film star headshot photos!!

Moisturizers -Clarins - Eclat du Jour Energizing Morning Cream
rated 5 of 5

I love this product! I have combo oily skin and my nose is always shiny by lunchtime but this product does not make my oilyness any worse nor does it break me out. I have been told by many Clarins consultants that this product is too rich and heavy for me but experience has told me otherwise. It gives me good deep moisturisation without leaving a film or any greasiness and makes me look healthy and glowing. I does not give me the milia that many moisturisers do. Definitely recommended. I just wish it had a sunscreen in it. No-one wants to put layer after layer of products on their face each day. I just want an all-in-one moisturizer/sunscreen and if this had a sunscreen this would be my HG moisturizer. The packaging is also fabulous - no spillage and hygenic!

Treatments (Eye) -Origins - A Perfect World for Eyes
rated 1 of 5

This eye cream is awful - I got a large sample in an Origins gift box and have used it numerous times (generally when I forget how awful it was the last time) - I applied it at night and woke up each morning with the puffiest eyes you have ever seen - its like it totally fills the skin and makes me looks like I have been crying for hours but without the redness I want an eye cream to diminish puffiness not make it worse!! The No Puffery Cooling Mask is a million times better
