This stuff is just weird. Although it's touted as natural, it's the strongest-smelling foundation I've ever tried. It's super sheer and wet, but the color matches pretty well, so at least there's that. You've got to shake it before you use it, otherwise it squeezes out much like runny ketchup.
Super clumpy and dry. I only use the lengthening mascara now when I apply it over my other mascaras. Pretty worthless.
Primer/ Corrector -New York Color - Smooth Skin Perfecting Primer

Ugh, I wish I had read some reviews for this primer before I purchased it. I wanted something to minimize the appearance of pores, but this primer is just worthless. The initial application gave me a shimmering, glowy appearance. I waited probably a good ten minutes before applying foundation, but then it created a chunky mess that made the makeup not want to adhere to my skin. What was the point of this? I'll just go back to wearing some light SPF moisturizer, I guess.
Mascara -L'Oreal - Concentrated Lash Boosting Serum

This isn't a bad serum--I like it better than Wet 'N Wild's. It definitely seems to help my lashes stay stronger and appear fuller. I wouldn't expect miracles from a $6 buck serum, but I will definitely keep using it for that little extra "oomph" it provides.
I purchased 3N Deep Brown Black to get back to my natural color after being a dark auburn shade. The applcation was easy, the smell wasn't bothersome (the nicest smelling haircolor I've tried, if there is such a thing) and my hair didn't feel too wrecked afterwards. My results with foam have been differed (SAMY was decent, Garnier didn't seem to do a thing but leave my hair feeling dry) so naturally I was nervous about trying this. I was afraid I wouldn't have enough foam even for my medium-length, fine hair, but I definitely did. Even though I knew I was coloring my hair a super dark shade, I didn't want it to turn out jet black, but it was through the first three washings. Now it's lightened up just enough (even though I use color-saving shampoo and conditioner) to the point where it looks natural. I'm very pleased now, a week later and would probably repurchase.
Eyeliner -Jordana - Fabu Liner Liquid Eyeliner Pen

Wow, this product is great. I didn't have super high expectations from this and thought if it was a marker it wouldn't deliver the same highly pigmented results as a true liquid liner, but it is fantastic. The liner is a great true black and stays put all day long. Application is easy because there is no skipping or dragging and the pen is nice and sturdy. I can wear this all day without it irritating my eyes. I will definitely will repurchase!
I keep going back to this mascara. I'm always looking for that perfect mascara that's going to make my blah lashes look nice, fat and black, and I'm thinking this is as good as it gets. The formula is not super wet I don't experience much clumping or flaking. I can wear this all day and it doesn't bother my eyes.
Conditioner -Suave - Keratin Infusion Color Care Conditioner
violet616 4/20/2012 4:26:00 PM
The BEST conditioner I have ever used, finally! I have used a lot of conditioners to help smooth and straighten my fine but curly and frizzy mane--Pantene Extra Straight, Garnier Sleek and Shine, Garnier Triple Nutrition, Neutrogena Triple Moisture, Kerastase, Loreal Everpure Smooth, JASON--I've never loved anything as much as this conditioner. It helps protect my color while delivering a nice, smooth, shiny, nourished result once I straighten. Because it is a bit of a deeper conditioner, I find that I have to wash my hair every 2 days instead of 3, but I'm fine with that when my hair actually decent now.
Lotions/ Creams -St. Ives - Daily Hydrating Vitamin E Body Lotion
violet616 4/20/2012 4:14:00 PM
This is a great body lotion to use in the winter. Yes, it feels a bit think and takes a few minutes to sink in, but when it does it truly provides long-lasting moisturization with skin that's soft and smooth. The scent is nice and light, too, like cucumbers.
I had high hopes for this polish but I find it chips just as easily if not more than my other cheapie Sally Hansen polishes. It's a lot thicker than other formulas so you can probably get by with 1 coat but I like 2. The long-lasting shine is nice, however.
Hair Color -L'Oreal - Superior Preference Hair Colour

I used RR04, Intense Dark Red. Well, this was the worst dye I've ever used. First of all, it SMELLS awful. Lung-clogging, eye-watering awful. I had to walk around while trying to apply this stuff. I followed the instructions and wasn't impressed with the color--much, much darker than I anticipated, not very pretty or vibrant. Furthermore, my hair felt really weak after using this. Granted, I know that probably had something to do with my only waiting a month in between colorings, but I was definitely worried at how easily my hair was breaking. It's been a month now and with some keratin conditioner, it's feeling a bit better, but I WILL NOT REPURCHASE ever.
