Cleansers -Kose - Softymo Deep Cleansing Oil
rated 5 of 5

This is an excellent cleanser. Very gentle, removes everything well. Excellent price. A very high quality product for a reasonable price. I have sensitive skin and the wrong products cause break outs, this was great. Thank you for the reviews on this, would not have tried it otherwise and it lived up to the great reviews.

Sunscreen -La Roche Posay - Anthelios Dermo-Pediatrics SPF60-PPD28
rated 4 of 5

I really like this. I'm used to high % zinc creams, and much heavier/greasier European sunscreens. Compared to them I find this to be very light, matte and with much less white cast. White cast and shine are still noticeable though, for now this along with Dermo Peds spray SPF 40 are my staples.

Treatments (Eye) -Avene - Ystheal Anti-aging gel-cream

Not impressed with this, feel the normal Ystheal/Eluage creams are much more effective eye creams and better value. Soothing but not moisturising enough.

Excellent. I have PPP, sensitive skin with mild rosacea. Prone to clogged pores in T-zone and flakiness in winter. This has worked very well for these problems, especially regarding flakiniess/dry skin. Very gentle and effective, this is a prdocuct everyone should try IMHO.

Treatments -Avene - Eluage Gel 15 ml
rated 5 of 5
violet103 11/3/2006 6:40:00 AM

Have used this for almost a week and love it, prefer it to Retrinal. Just beautiful! I have PPP, sensitive, rosacea, dry 26 year old skin. More a gel/cream texture, leaves skin soft and slightly dewy. Have been using Retrinal for over one month and it has given my skin a more fine, even texture. As such can't comment yet on whether Eluage will be more effective, so far am finding this to be very gentle, a pleasure to use. I *LOVE* the fragrance. Wish it had a higher concentration of HA.

Have been using .05% for 2 weeks,so far I am impressed. I have mild/moderate rosacea+am PPP,sensitive skin. This has improved redness, overall skin tone+ refined my skin already. I am a 26 year old Australian +have the beginnings of fine lines on my forehead. I think I have seen an improvement in these. Will update to be sure it's not all wishful thinking, so far I am pleased. 11/3/6 Results even better, skin much more refined+smoother. Need for exfoliation has greatly reduced, though PC BHA 2% is still needed.Roasea appears to have improved. Not a miracle, but so far impressed. Upgrading to higher strength,Eluage gel. My skin is very sensitive, (retinol in a Chanel eye cream I sampled recently caused redness), I have been very pleasantly surprised by how nicely my sensitive skin has handled this form of Vit A. As such highly rec this for sensitive skins, just go slowly (to begin with I only used this on my forehead, before including chin + cheeks). I've read Vit A doesn't necessarily increase photo sensitivity, however I could feel my skin reacting more than usual to incidental sun exposure (could feel it slightly burn on one occasion when I wasn't diligent with SPF). Update 03/09/07 Have upgraded to Eluage and Ystheal .1%, may continue to use this as eye cream. I very highly rec this product and line of Vit A for those with sensitive skin, rosacea etc.

Treatments -Paula's Choice - Redness Relief Treatment (Previously known as Skin Relief Treatment)

Excellent. I am very fair with sensitive skin and have recently had a lot of red bumps on my legs, post shaving. This didn't just help soothe and tone down the red, it was also incredibly moisturising, my legs were silky soft. It gently exfoliated; I was thoroughly impressed by this and am so glad I sampled it. Will try it on my face as well. My sensitive skin reacted to the metal on my jeans (finicky!) resulting in redness, this also helped sooth it better then 1% cortison cream.

I echoe Smam's review in that this conditioner is **truly** a miracle in a bottle - my hair has never been like that!!! The home colour is good too - but back to the conditioner - I'm going to ring the company to see if I can buy the conditioner on its own. My hair is fine but damaged.

Good product! Not perfect, I do get clumping and have to brush through lashes after applying, but still a great cheap product. Prefer it to high end ones I've tried.

Sunscreen -Avene - Avene Eau Thermale Emulsion Protection Extreme SPF 60

Great stuff, easily my favourite European sunscreen of what I've tried so far. Not perfect, I still find I get a slight white cast with it, but overall pretty good. Would highly rec it. Like it much better than Loreal's.
