Almost like airbrushing pigment onto your skin really. I can imagine this eye shadow working very well for mature or dry skin. Yes, it is not an intense pigment deposit like other brands but the colors seem to meld into your skin. Blends beautifully, I used all of them at once and came out with the best softest smoky eye I've ever done. Doesn't look overdone and is subtle in a way. Dramatic enough for night but conservative and appropriate for work too. This set does tend towards cool tones in the pan but I can see it working well for other skin tones. I layered the blue shadow last over the darker taupe colors and it comes out as a deep earthy blue. I was skeptical about the antique gold/taupe shadow in this set but it turns out to be the most flattering versatile shade. Totally agree with another review done on this palette that people notice you first before the make up, it applies that well. Love this palette and have also gotten rue de sevres and champ elysees, its that good.
Works well. Kind of sheer but gives good natural coverage. Bear in mind, I don't have heavy circles rather, I've got slight dark shadows under my eyes as the skin has thinned with age and it makes me look tired. The slight pink in this formula helps to off set any blueish tones. Easy to pat in to blend and it is not drying nor does it cake or crinkle. Really brightens the eyes.
Very beautiful rich colors. I use dark grey eyeliner with this palette to give it some more depth as most of the colors have shimmer except for the navy blue. Formula is so nice you can actually use the applicators they come with and still get good results without a brush if you are on the run.
The best deep dark purple. Fades to a nice stain and feels luxurious. I like to layer this under one of my favorite sheer blue reds for a blackened- red lip color. In the Fall/Winter, I'll go full on drama with the color and it still looks polished and classy even during the day. Not severe looking. Chanel is generally too pricey for my budget but I have to admit their lipsticks are some of the best and I will always splurge for a few colors when I need them.
Perfect lip liner for all of your blue based red lipsticks. I've used it with no problems with my purple based lipsticks as it blends well.
Great everyday color. Rich brown that goes on creamy and blends well with other color eye shadows to create new muted shades.
Agree with other comments that this works great applied wet as an eyeliner. Can even be applied as a conservative work look yet the color is more rich and has more depth than your typical neutral eye liner colors.
The best color for black eyebrows. I never used pencil before for fear of looking hard and crazy but this pencil has the right amount of pigment. Taupes and Browns were either too light or too dark but this color seems to go with many different hair tones and looks totally natural and brings out your eyes. Does not wear off throughout the day-even on hot days and I'm oily.
Adds a neutral shimmery glow. I use this more in the Fall/Winter. I use on top of cheekbones, top line down the center of nose, tip of chin and I streak it down center of forehead and fan it out. I have always had oily skin but it has matured a bit in my mid 30s. I use this multiple to kind of recreate that sheen I use to get in my T zone when I was younger but its a lot more prettier than that! Gives a good dewy look when you don't want to use stronger blush color.
Good stuff. I mix a little with my foundation when I need more of a pick up to my complexion.

The prettiest cool green colors. Really brightens your face and though the thought of green eye shadow can be scary, these colors are really classy and gorgeous. I don't come across greens in this range often. Great formula that lasts all day with no creasing,

This is a classy palette and the colors are gorgeous. Definitely not your 80s blue eye shadow. I've never gotten hugely excited over any brand eye shadow but have to say Christian Dior shadows is one of the best. Buttery formula and you don't have to use a lot as its richly pigmented and the iridescent colors have finely milled glitter so a touch is even suitable for daytime. Lasts all day with no creasing.
Hard to find nice everyday blushes for pale skin that doesn't make you look clownish. I used to be terrified of pink blush but this color looks very natural-like how your skin flushes on a cold day. Taking a second look at cream blushes. Adheres well to oily skin and I actually think its better than powder for a fresh dewy look. Definitely have fallen in love with NARS products and its worth the price as it lasts forever.
I've been dedicated to this mascara for over 15 years now. Lashes look natural and full all day and no flaking. You can add 2-3 coats and it does not clump or get that spiky lash look.
Love this Foundation and that NARS offers fair colors. Siberia is the best and it helps to neutralize the pink tones I sometimes get. I used to refuse to wear foundation as it looked too made up and the coverage was obvious. This is truly sheer foundation with good coverage yet looks like your own natural skin just better and even toned. You don't need to apply much but it does build nicely. I'm oily and it doesn't fade or melt off. It seems to just meld into your skin and at the end of the day, you don't see tired old make up on your skin. It still looks fresh. Like the feeling of the formula and it lasts awhile. Wish they included the pump though.
