Smudges and smears on the waterline, which is why I wanted to try it. Applies very smoothly, though. I like wearing on my upper lash line but do NOT tightline with it; it also smears.

I was gifted with a decant of Resurrected and it is to die for! Definitely my favorite of the foody scents. Very similar to Drink Me on me, which is great because that means there's a GC sub for when my decant runs out.

I knew just from looking at the notes this wouldn't work for me, but I'm trying everything, so on it went. All I really get is hay. Bummer.

This is another of my fave rose blends from the Lab. It's a lot softer than Persephone, which I really like. I do smell the lilac as it dries down. It's a bit soapy for me but I actually quite like it.

This is lovely but it's just too faint on me! I mostly get honey with a bit of rose. Will have to slather this one on, I think.

The salt smells pretty foul on me until it dries down. The perfume underneath is lovely, but not very me. I'm unsure of whether I'll keep this; I might need to try it again in a month or so and see how it ages.

Lip Gloss -Laura Mercier - Violet Glace

My introduction into the world of high-end makeup was a Violet Lip Glace by Laura Mercier. I was on a job experience and during a lunch break the girl I was working alongside took me to Holt Renfrew and told me if I got the job, I could afford to shop in a store like that. She's a huge LM fan so she picked up some staples while the sales girl gave me a mini makeover. She used the glace on me and I loved it. Never have I worn a lipgloss so smooth, shiny, with the perfect amount of shimmer and sheerness to it. A month later, I got a job at the same company, different department, and after my first paycheck I went to HR and picked up my own. Unfortunately, I have tried ALL of the other lip glaces and haven't found another color that I love as much as Violet. Probably a good thing since they are pricey here in Canada, but Violet Glace is definitely my HG!
