I enjoy using this palette. This palette features cooler, vlighter colours to the original, which makes it very nice on my fair skin. The only repeat on this palette if half baked. Overall, I am glad I own both, but if I could chose only one, because I also fair, I would chose Naked 2. Ad of course being urban decay, the quality of the shadows is lovely.vthey are silky and smooth, do not crease, and last all day.
Fragrances -Gucci - Gucci by Gucci (new release 2008)

I really enjoy this perfume. This fragrence says "Hello! I am a confident and sexy woman. I know what I want in life, and exactly how to obtain in it." To me the Gucci by Gucci woman is sophisticated but wild. Men are driven crazy by her, women admire her. She is ambitious and confident. When I picture her I see a young 25-35) successful, and strikingly radiant career woman - the one all the men ogle at, the reason why the company must hold sexual harassment lectures. But she is so much more than just a pretty face; she is clever and witty. She is driven and passionate. On first spray, i find Gucci by Gucci a bit harsh and cloying. However, after ten minutes this settles into this beautiful, warm, sweet and sensuous aroma. This fragrance just melts so well into my skin. It becomes musky, but not your grandmother's musky, but rather sexual creature kind of musky. It has the same sophistication as a Gucci bag from the classic line. Really quite lovely. Note: identical to my review on fragrantica
Concealers -Bobbi Brown - Tinted Eye Brightener 2012 Reformulation

I have this product in porcelain peach. I actually don't mind the pen formulation, but I never had the chance to try it in a pot. I twist up a bit and put about dots under each eye and then blend it by dabbing it, not rubbing it. Because I do not use it daily, one tube has lasted about 5 months, but I suspect with daily use you would be looking at about a month's worth of product in a tube.
This is my favorite liquid liner. The packaging is simple, and exactly what you'd expect from Lancome. Black with gold writing. The product is a beautiful, rich brown that is not overpowering on fair skin and/or light eyes. It has some shimmer to it. The brush is the best part of this product. It has a very fine point that can be used to make the thinnest of lines to the thickest, most dramatic lines. I have very shaky hands, and that is never a problem with this product.
Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)
vickio92 12/19/2011 2:50:00 AM
The best eyehsadow primer one can buy. I dislike the new needle point bottle.
This is my favorite eyeshadow. It compliments my gray eyes nicely. Grace is a beautiful light, taupe brown eyeshadow that has violet, mauve, and pink undertones, and is a shimmer. It has the same level of pigmentation one would expect from Stila - it's not Urban Decay or MAC, but it's certainly higher than Lancome or Clinique. I have mixed feeling about how, unless purchased from sephora, this product doesn't come with a palette or pot. It makes it easy to put into a palette of other colour but is inconvenient if your are looking for a very portable, single shade, as you must then purchase it a pot separately.
Let me start off by saying that Bare Minerals blush in Vintage Peach is my HG blush. It suits my very fair, freckled, pink, natural redhead complexion nicely. How ever, I am always on the hunt for cheap alternatives. I am also easily drawn in by gimmicks. In addition I have recently died my hair brown, and as such I find that contouring is now required as part of my "take the dead look off" routine. The product itself is what you'd expect from LOreal: a large, kind of clunky pan, that has the product on the top, that you can flip up to reveal a mirror and a brush underneath. It's also on the expensive side for drugstore makeup, about $16 CAD. I purchased the colour Flush Rose - 830. It is a slightly peachy pink with a bit of glittery shine to it. The bronze "sculpting" component is a creamy coloured bronze with a similar peachy pink undertone to it that the blush has. While it looks fairly pigmented in the pan, it is more of a subtle effect, even on my paper white skin. The blush is slightly better than the bronzer as far as pigmentation goes, however, you want a fair amount of product on the brush for application. The staying power of the product is average - if you are going out for the evening after a full day of wearing, touch ups required. I did try using it a few times with the included brush. I was impressed that it worked fairly well, however you are better off with one or two quality brushes, especially since contouring requires more than just a streak of bronze under your cheeks, and blush is more than racing stripes. I used an angled blush brush. The brush the product includes in of descent quality when you consider it is a brush included with a drugstore product. The bristles are medium soft and firm. I would recommend the product, if, like me you like gimmicky products, or perhaps if you are new to contouring.
I love this eyeliner. It's light enough to not be ghastly, but is still gives my eyes definition. I glides on smooth and creamy, and never smudges. I'll buy it again if I ever run out
So let me preface this by saying that I purchased this product for the colour, which was disappointingly, nothing special. Smeared on a tissue, it is black with blue hints and silver glitter, very pretty. But on my eyes, all you see is black. It doesn't really volumized or lengthen. You might like this if you are looking for a softer version of the black define-a-lash, that is not brown.
There is nothing remarquable about this masquara. I bought is because it was availible in Navy Blue. It is a little clumpy, but otherwise descent. If you are used to drugstore mascaras, you might like it
I use this for the lip stain, not the blush. It gives a candy rose colour to the lips that lasts almost all day and looksgreat under a clear gloss. I wouldn't use this as a blush as when I do I look like a clown. However it has the best staying power of any lip stain I have tried and one bottle lasts forever. The only downside is the nail pollish like bottle... but I am not sure how they would improve it either.
Eyeliner -Cover Girl - Liquiline Blast- Violet Voltage
vickio92 4/23/2011 4:03:00 AM
Yes, the colour is pretty, but the product is not very pigmented (it will take several swipes for an opaque colour), it smears a lot, the smudgers tugs at your eyes, it seems to evaporate throughout the day, and it can make you look a bit like a druggy with pink eyes if you are not careful with it. If you like this colour, try the Smashbox limitless eyeliner in Black Violet. The colour is similar, but it has much better staying power.
Eyeliner -Cover Girl - Liquiline Blast in Blue Boom

This is a lovely blue colour. It stays well on my top lid and produces a very bold line. However, it smudges on the bottom. It costs about $13 CAD and you don't get very mutch product. The smudger is shite and pulls and tugs at your eyes. It's alright, but next time I'll spend the extra $8 and get smashbox as you get more product that is a better quality, even though the blue is not as vivid. PS. This is the only colour in this line worth buying, as it is beautiful
I am supprised by the reviews on this product. I recieved a sample version as a GWP, and I later bought the full size tube. I love the wand and the bristles. They really define the the lashes. This mascara does not clump, does not flake, and does not normally smear. It is my favortie black mascara, I wish that they made it in a brown.
This is the best BROWN mascara for daytime wear on the market. It's a great shade, that looks dark on darker eyes and lighter on lighter eyes. It defines the lashes, adds some length, and great colour. It looks very natural but still enhances the eye. It doesn't ever clump or flake.
