Ugh, this mascara is BAD. I have asian lashes so it's hard to find a really good mascara that does it all. I got this mascara from my Ipsy bag and was excited to try it since I love trying out mascaras. The brush is a rather standard bristle brush. Nothing special about the brush or the formula. There was no clumping and it held my curls. Then when I come home after work, I got scared by the HUGE black stain it left under AND on my lids. I've never had a mascara that even left marks on my lids... Impressive in deed... Honestly, even it made my lashes look like falsies, I would not use this mascara for what it's worth. So disappointed...

I FOUND IT! I found the product that will soften my lips without being too greasy and sticky. This product is amazing. The saleswoman at Sephora told me that it was sticky and that I should try something else but I stuck to this one and boy am I glad! You just a little layer of this wonderful smelling lip balm (mine is lemon) and it moisturizes and leaves your lips all baby soft and kissable. The packaging is sanitary. No need to dip your finger in a tin (like the rosebud salve which I use to love). I am definitely buying this again and again. It is kinda pricey (9$) compared to drugstore lip balms but it's definitely worth the money. LOVE IT!
I don't always wear this mascara. I only wear it when I need curled, almost-fake lashed. It does live up to the name; it gives you amazing curl and length. However you need to be careful not to put more than 2 coats. Then it becomes to clumpy and spidery. The formula is wet.
This is the only mascara that I've bought again and again. The wand is great! Gave me defined, natural lashes. It does flake a bit. But for the price of it, I don't mind swiping under my eyes a few times.
I got a sample of this mascara from those pay 10$ a month companies to get 5 samples. I really like this mascara!! But honestly, it is quite pricey. PROS: stays curled all day! amazing staying power. lengthens my thin, straight, Asian lashes. CONS: quite hard to take off (mentioned multiple times in previous reviews), quite expensive, can get clumpy (if you put too many coats) If I had the dough to afford this mascara, I totally would buy it again!
Eyeliner -Rimmel - Glam Eyes Professional Liquid Liner

I'm not a big liquid liner user. I don't usually line my upper lash line as I tightline it with pencil. So since it was on sale, I thought "hey why not?" Maybe this review is biased as I have monolids (no crease). Good: good color, thin lines Bad: doesn't dry fast enough (as soon as I open my eye a bit, it imprinted on my lid), brush is flimsy (I don't feel I have much control) So I guess it's not great for monolids.
Lips -Revlon - ColorBurst Lip Butter in Peach Parfait

I have always hated lipsticks. I have fairly big lips so I feel like lipstick would just be too much. Basically I live on lip balms. I decided to give this a try because a Youtuber has been raving about them Good: Love the color! It's like my lips but more pronounced. Quite natural. Tube is cute. Very hydrating! Bad: There is wayy too much shimmer/glitter in this one. The base peachy color is beautiful but too much golden speckles. At first, it doesn't really show, it just looks like it's glossy. However, as the lipstick wears off, the glitter still stays on my lips. Looks weird... Also, doesn't last quite long but it's not a deal breaker for me. I might buy this again but also try another color to see which one is the best!
I bought this blush without reading the reviews on this site. When I read them, I was expecting the worst out of this blush. My blusher from CG fell and broke into dust so I had to find another one. I was debating on this one of one of Rimmel's. Since this one was on sale, I decided to give it a try. I LIKE IT! I was expecting no color at all on my cheeks but this blush totally showed on my skin! I don't have pale skin, I'm a rather tan Asian woman. I swirl it a couple of times with my Sheercover brush (not very good quality) and voila! I like the color, it gives me a nice pink flush, very cute and natural. The brush is obviously not the best, considering it is a drugstore brand. It has a subtle shimmer.
I've been looking for a mascara that would give me length and definition. Because I have thin short lashes, it is difficult to give me a lot of volume (which tbh it's not my priority). So far (after my first application), I like this mascara. It grabs to every lashes and lengthens them although that wasn't their main focus. It gives me a natural look after one coat. I took out my star because it's harder to take off with just cleanser. I like it when you can wash your face and take off your mascara at the same time. This mascara needed a makeup remover to remove the black leftover.
