IMO, this product is horrid! The first time I used it, my face looked slightly unnatural in standard indoor lighting. When I went outside and caught a glimpse of myself in the rearview mirror, I startled myself. Yuck! This product has a pink tone that made my foundation too rosy. In addition, it made my face greasy and my pores looked like craters. Thank God it was free! My tube is in a landfill somewhere.
I simply love this fragrance! I have a hard time finding scents that work with my body chemistry, but this one does -- it is a keeper! On me, it has a complex vanilla-y scent, but definitely not too "foody," as others have said. Even with a light application (recommended), the scent lingers and frequently sparks compliments and questions. I also love that fact that nobody I know wears it! I'll buy it until they stop producing it!
I was skeptical about this product, because the colors look so intense in the tube. I bought Rubor #10, a deep burgundy-bronze color, to use on my caramel-hued skin. The effect is stunning! I dot it on lightly over my foundation, blend with my fingers, and then add more, as necessary. It is effective, it stays put and it is versatile. I use a little bit for day and more for night or special occasions. As others have said, you get a HUGE amount of product for the price. I've had this stick for almost a year, and I have more than half left. Thumbs up!
I love the I-Iman stick foundation! My skin can be best described as "difficult" -- oily, blemish-prone and uneven in tone. As soon as I began wearing this foundation (#6 is my shade), the compliments began. It is easy to apply, it covers well, doesn't change colors and literally makes my skin look flawless. I've found that I need to use a light moisturizer underneath during the winter months, but overall this product is a winner!
