Lipstick -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter in Pink Truffle
rated 4 of 5

This is my second lip butter and I bought it after seeing all of the swatches online. I love MLBB colors and this definitely qualifies as such - it's a pretty rosy brown. It's actually more brown than I expected, so I am careful not to apply too much. It definitely leans more toward lipstick than lip balm or gloss, as it's pretty pigmented. The finish is soft and slightly glossy, and I find it to be decently moisturizing. Overall, I really like it and will keep it in my purse.

Eyeliner -Milani - Liquif'eye Metallic eye liner pencil -black

I bought this eyeliner after seeing so many great things about it, and all of the hype is right. It's very black, applies smoothly, and stays put. It literally glides right on - no need for tugging or going over the line multiple times. The only issue I had was that it made my eyes itchy and watery for the first few times I used it. I must have adapted to it, because it's fine now, but those who have sensitive eyes may want to be cautious.

Liquid -Christian Dior - Diorskin Nude Hydrating Makeup SPF 10 [DISCONTINUED]

This is the first foundation I have ever loved, and perhaps my HG. I hate my skin and have tried many foundations, but have mostly stuck with this one for the last year. I wear shade 21 Linen, and apply either with my fingers, or with the Sephora Airbrush. With or without primer, this foundation wears incredibly well and really looks flawless. I'd say the coverage is medium to full, and I'm able to cover redness/ spots with very little product. I love that it sinks in and melts into my skin. This is one of the only foundations that does not get oily or shiny on me. I just have to moisturize regularly, as it can sometimes highlight dry areas.

Primer/ Corrector -BeneFit Cosmetics - The Porefessional

I love this stuff! I wasn't sold on the idea of primers until about a year ago, and since then, I've tried a ton of them. This one is by far my favorite. Even before foundation, I can tell a huge difference - my skin looks clear, even, and airbrushed. With the addition of foundation and blush, my skin looks really good (which is almost impossible for me). I also noticed that my breakouts have significantly cleared up when using this product and it is the only change I have made in my routine. Definitely give it a try!

Lotions/ Creams -Beauticontrol - Spa Brown Sugar Body Lotion
rated 5 of 5

I love this stuff! I was out to lunch with my SO and our waitress smelled so amazing. I asked her what it was...and it was this. I kind of forgot about it, but my SO decided to surprise me with it. I love it on myself as much as I loved it on the waitress. It is similar to Aqualina, which to me is a great thing. I love the sugary-sweet candy smell. The lotion itself is awesome - long lasting and very moisturizing. As previously mentioned, there is a bit of opal-y shimmer to it which is a nice subtle touch.

Eye Shadow -Stila - Kitten
rated 4 of 5

Like the reviewer below said, this stuff is amazing. It's a shimmery light gold/pink. I either use it to highlight inner corners and brows, or use a a wash. It looks great and refreshing both ways. This color would look good on almost everyone. The texture is silky and easy to apply. The price is steep but after daily use, my pan looks like it's barely been touched.

Foundations -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Foundation
rated 4 of 5
vanilladiva45 1/14/2009 4:04:00 AM

After seeing such rave reviews, I had to try this. Color 118 is a perfect match - I finally found a color that helps combat redness and look completely natural. If I exfoliate and moisturize, this stuff looks amazing. The only problem is that at the end of the day, I sometimes look flakey, as this can be super drying. For me, the coverage lasts all day and does not turn oily/shiny. It nicely hides any little blemishes, redness, etc. The color selection is great and everyone is bound to find one. While the pricetag is a bit off-putting, all it takes it one pump a day. I've had my bottle for two months and am not even halfway finished with it. Edit: I stopped using this for a while, when the color became too light for me, and just recently went back to it. Sadly, I don't love it like I used to. It looks very obvious and I can't find a color that looks just right anymore. There are definitely better foundations for my skin type and color out there.

Eyeliner -Stila - Smudge Pot in Bronze
rated 5 of 5
vanilladiva45 1/14/2009 3:59:00 AM

This was my first cream liner. I've been looking for a bronze/gold/brown liner to complement my blue eyes and this is it. It's a bronzey brown with little flecks of shimmer, which is absolutely gorgeous. In my quest, I've not seen another color like it. Once applied, it doesn't budge all day. I haven't had any problems with my pot drying out either. This is an awesome product!

Eyeliner -Sephora - Sephora Liner Electro Glitter Eye Pencil
rated 3 of 5
vanilladiva45 1/14/2009 3:56:00 AM

I bough this in Night, expecting a dark pigmented navy liner. Sadly, it's hard to apply and little color shows up. It also isn't long wearing. Perhaps I need to play around with it more, but so far, it isn't living up to my expectations. It is pretty cheap and if you just need a random liner, I suppose this works.

Lip Gloss -L'Oreal - HIP Jelly Balm [DISCONTINUED]
rated 5 of 5
vanilladiva45 1/14/2009 3:54:00 AM

I have this balm in both Plush and Succulent. I love them both! Plush is a lighter, cotton candy pink while Succulent is a tad darker and more berry-toned. Both are gorgeous and go with whatever other make up I put on. I really like how glossy and moisturizing they are - pretty and practical. The smell is great - sweet and carmel-y. I'm not usually a fan of pots, but this stuff changed my mind. It's definitely worth the $7.

Eyeliner -L'Oreal - HIP Color Truth Cream Eyeliner in Black
rated 5 of 5
vanilladiva45 1/14/2009 3:51:00 AM

After buying a Stila smudge pot, I decided I wanted to try more cream liners. This has replaced my daily black pencil liner. The color payoff is amazing - this is a rich, dark black that stays put and lasts all day. It seriously amped up my look. A lot of people complain about the price but this pot will last forever. I got these BOGO at CVS, but for as good as it makes my eyes look, I'd pay full price.

Lip Gloss -NARS - Chihuahua
rated 5 of 5
vanilladiva45 1/14/2009 3:48:00 AM

Finding this gloss was a total accident, but it is now my HG. The color is beautiful - it's seriously my lips but glossier/prettier/richer. It's a medium natural peachy-pink that goes on sheer without shimmer/glitter. I absolutely adore it. The lasting power is great and while a tube of it is expensive, there is a decent amount.

Lip Gloss -Smashbox - Lipgloss- Pixel
rated 1 of 5
vanilladiva45 11/18/2008 12:40:00 AM

After seeing such good reviews on here, I decided to give this a try and bought it off ebay. I'm on a search to find the perfect nudey pink gloss. However, Pixel is not that gloss. The texture is thick and sticky. Sadly, the color was the worst part....a horrible heavy-shimmer peachy-orange. It was a complete waste of money.

Moisturizers -Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion
rated 5 of 5
vanilladiva45 11/18/2008 12:37:00 AM

I stole a sample of this from my grandma's GWP, and surprisingly, I loved it. My skin has issues - I'm on retin-a and differin, so it's really dry yet oily-acne prone. Thankfully, it's cleared up a lot but this stuff is a life saver. I put in on after medication morning and night, so my face isn't tight and my make-up goes on smoothly. It didn't cause any break outs or feel excessively oil.

Powder -Bare Escentuals - Bare Minerals ALL
rated 4 of 5
vanilladiva45 11/18/2008 12:34:00 AM

I wear Medium, which is a medium beige for pink tones. I used Bare Minerals a few years ago and returned it, but after reading reviews, I decided to retry. Since I got it off ebay, it was cheap and definitely worth the money. I wear it over moisturizer, or sometimes light foundation, and I absolutely love the airbrushed look it gives me. It really does make redness and pores less noticeable. I haven't had any breakouts from using this after a month. I do notice a little oiliness after a few hours though.
