Mascara -Christian Dior - Diorshow Iconic High Definition Lash Curler Mascara

I was skeptical at first, due to several years worth of try & trashing other mascaras. After reading review after review of success stories, I ordered it on-line from Nordstrom's. Their price was $30. I absolutely love this mascara. I have stick-straight lashes. They have a fair length, but it's a moot point when you can't see them! This mascara made them CURL. 8^O I'm amazed at the look when I use this product. My lashes actually have curl to them with this mascara. It dries quickly, but I am still able to use my lash brush to separate my lashes a bit. I haven't noticed any smudging issues throughout the day. I have not noticed much volumizing with this product, however. I didn't see a "lush" lash look. But I was on the hunt for a curling mascara & am very pleased with this product.

Mascara -Yves Saint Laurent - Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils

This mascara actually does add that "LUSH" factor to my lashes! I start out with straight, undefined lashes and end up with movie star red carpet looking lashes. I will say, it does nothing for the straight factor. However, it does add a great amount of volume without looking as though I have gobs of mascara coating my lashes. It's a great thicker look! BTW, the scent is wonderful. I read that elsewhere & thought "huh?", but it's true. Maybe a bit like a sweet lip balm...but in a mascara! I purchased from Nordstrom's on-line site & paid about $30. It was packaged in a simple box, with instructions included. (Don't worry, it isn't a "process", just a recommended method for use.) Initially my brush was a little flat, but after one "official" use, it fanned out slightly & became more user friendly. If this added curl to the volume, it would be my absolute top pick (thus the "4" rating instead of "5"). For now, it is my second in command.

Treatments (Eye) -Garnier - Nutritioniste Skin Renew Daily Anti-Fatigue Eye Cream

After doing some reading about the great benefits of caffeine on under-eye areas, I was excited to try Garnier's Anti-Fatigue eye cream. Per application, I was pleased to note there wasn't a discernible scent or dye. Noted on the box, the product dermatologist & ophthalmologist tested , oil free, allergy tested. Upon application, dabbing the product on as suggested, I found that it went on easily & seemed to absorb well. However, after applying a highlighting product to cover my darker under-eye areas I found it did not cover smoothly & was very visible with the Garnier product (unlike without the Garnier product). I used the eye cream for about 3 months, hoping to see lightening in the dark circles & some reduction in the fine lines. There was absolutely no change in the time I used the product (& it was frustrating to apply makeup over it). Per the packaging, it's noted that "in 3 weeks: fine lines are noticeable diminished" and "with continued use: even dark circles appear reduced. This product does not live up to its claims, in my experience.
