Love love love these glosses!!! I rarely wear lip products but this one is amazing! They smell soooo good and they are so smooth and creamy. There is no shimmer and they are a little sheer but perfect for everyday wear. I have the peach one and the apple one (I forget the exact names). The peach one is my favorite. I highly recommend it for blondes. These are around $4 and you can get them at Ulta. This is my favorite lip product besides Buxom glosses!
Pressed Powders -Rimmel - Stay Matte Pressed Powder (ALL)
underage 5/30/2013 11:19:00 PM
This is my all time favorite setting powder. I've used it for over a year a I rarely use any product consistently. It keeps my skin matte and helps my makeup last longer. Be careful not to use too much or you will look cakey!! I hate the packaging but it's so cheap I don't care. I have combo skin so not sure if this would work the same for oily people but it works great for me. I have already repurchased!
Love this lippie! I went on a vacation to Miami and forgot all my lipsticks :( so I had to search for something quick. Picked this up at CVS for a few bucks and it was definitely worth the price. I was going to bring Candy Yum Yum lipstick so I was looking for something bright and this is as close as I could find. It's not drying at all and lasted the whole night! It does have a weird smell but it goes away. Try this if you're looking for a bright pink lipstick that stays put!
Primer/ Corrector -Laura Mercier - Foundation Primer Oil -Free
underage 5/22/2013 10:23:00 PM
I got a sample of this primer and have tried it both in summer and winter. I have normal/combo skin and it did nothing in my opinion. Its a thin formula that's not silicone feeling at all. It doesn't help my foundation go on smoother or last longer. I prefer my Revlon Color Stay primer over this one! Might be good for oily skin but not my cup of tea.
Styling Products -Matrix - Matrix sleek.look Extreme smoothing cream
underage 5/19/2013 6:20:00 PM
I used to use this product years ago and I remember how amazing it made my hair smell. I found it on sale at Target and I couldn't pass it up for the price. I love how it makes my hair soft and smooth and does not weigh it down a all. The packaging is annoying because it kind of squeezes out when you close the tube. I would repurchase it if I can find it on sale again. Not worth the full price and they are tons of other blow dry lotions.
Lotions/ Creams -Jergens - Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer
underage 5/19/2013 6:17:00 PM
Love the new formula! I used to hate this lotion because of the terrible smells but the new version doesn't have that terrible self tanner smell. It's very moisturizing and sinks in quickly. I also love the "3 days to glow" version even though the bottle is so small. This lotion gives you a pretty natural looking glow in my opinion. I spray tan weekly and use this to maintain the color. If you're very pale/picky about the color your tan is you may not like this. I will definitely repurchase both the original lotion and the express version when I run out
Treatments (Eye) -MAC - Mineralize Charged Water Moisture Eye Cream
underage 4/14/2013 11:15:00 PM
I really like this eye cream! I was hesitant to buy once from MAC since I know they don't have the best skin care line but I didn't want to shell out a ton of money for a higher end one. I have a few fine lines but this was mostly just a preventative measure. After using it twice I noticed my fine lines has been reduced and my undereye area looked plumper. There is no smell and the product can be worn under concealer. I will definitely be repurchasing when I run out. You only need a drop for both eyes so I see this lasting a while :)
I got a sample of this primer & I've been using it for a while. It's oil free which is nice but it doesn't feel like most primers I have used before. Its kind of a liquidy formula that just dries onto skin and doesn't make you foundation apply a any smoother. It didn't seem to make my makeup last longer or do anything at all. I would not purchase the full size.
Foundations -Cover Girl - Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation
underage 4/14/2013 11:09:00 PM
I like this foundation but I don't think there is anything special about it. Love the pump & how light the foundation feels but it doesn't give me the coverage/finish I want. I also had to buy 3 bottles before I found my shade! The staying power is good but not great. I wear this on normal days to work but I wouldn't wear it for a night out.
Previous reviews describe this as a red color but I definitely think it is more of a peachy/coral. In my opinion this is a more pigmented version of Orgasm. I have fair skin and this looks great. It's perfect when you are wearing a heavy eye and only want a subtle glow. Very expensive but worth it because you use so little each time.
I really like this brow pencil. I just started doing my eyebrows. They don't need to be filled in, just defined. I use this in the color blonde and it is the only pencil I've found that isn't too dark. I color my hair light blonde and I'm naturally a brunette so I don't want to add to much color to the brow. I like how its a pencil that won't break off (such as the Maybelline one) and you don't have to sharpen it often. The little brush on the end is helpful for blending and brushing the hairs. I spent $7 on this which seems like a lot for this brand but I don't mind. They only had three colors so might be difficult for some to find a match.
Primer/ Corrector -Revlon - PhotoReady Perfecting Primer (color 001)
underage 3/23/2013 1:47:00 PM
I'm not much of a primer person but I did like this product. One pump covers my whole face and I felt like it helped my makeup blend easily. I liked how it wasn't too slippery or siliconey. I haven't noticed that it made my foundation last longer but that's not why I purchased it. I wanted something to make my foundation look smooth and flawless and I think this has done a nice job! Good drugstore buy
Concealers -L'Oreal - True Match Super Blendable Crayon Concealer
underage 3/23/2013 1:44:00 PM
Love this concealer! I have tons of concealers but this is one of the best. I bought it in a light shade for highlighting and it is absolutely perfect! I use it under my eyes and in any other areas I want to highlight. Its super creamy and opaque. Not like other concealers where you need to build it up to get any coverage. I also like how it comes in a twist up pencil form. Super convenient and easy for travel. This is one I would repurchase :)
Hair -L'Oreal - Advanced haircare - Triple resist strength solution
underage 3/23/2013 1:39:00 PM
I hated this spray! I have bleached extremely damaged hair so I thought this would be perfect to stop my breakage...WRONG. Since using this my hair has become even more dry, brittle, and frayed. I even had a few guys comment on how my hair look fried! I stopped using this and got a deep conditioning treatment at my salon and my hair feels a lot better. I checked the ingredients and alcohol is one of the main ingredients which dries out your hair a ton. I liked Redkens Anti-Snap a looooot more. Save your hair and money and don't buy this stuff.
Highlighters -MAC - Prep + Prime Highlighter Pen in Light Boost
underage 3/13/2013 11:55:00 PM
I like this but it's not a staple for me. I think its round $25 which is pricy for a small pen. I used it to highlight under my eyes, nose, chin, forehead, etc.. and it just looked like I had used a normal lighter concealer. It does make it easy to apply the product but nothing amazing. I also have a L'oreal concealer pen which is very similar to this and around $10 cheaper. When I first got this oil came out and I had to keep twisting it to get to the actual product. It's a nice extra but won't repurchase
