Well, I did wind up buying this after using Incanto Charms for a while and being disappointed in that. So I went on down to my local Ulta, and gave in, and bought the EDT. From the Sephora site: Notes: Dewy Freesia, Tamarind, Chinese Osmanthus, Incense, Fresh Tuberose, White Wings Peony, Blue Orris, Arum Lilies, Cashmere Woods, Musk, Vetiver Haiti I wanted a big "boom", I wanted some sillage, but I never got it. I got it for about 10 minutes. I think I smell the Tuberose (thats the big boom), but for some reason on me, it just doesn't stay with me and provide enough of a lasting scent. I love smelling it in the bottle, and spraying it on, but it doesn't deliver. I am not sure what it is, but I am disappointed. Maybe if I got the EDP instead it would be a different experience.

I got a really good deal on this perfume from Amazon (they had the refill bottle for 50% off) - who cares what the bottle looks like, it was a fantastic buy. I have smelled this one on other gals at work - I have gotten fantastic dreamy whiffs of this when someone steps on the elevator or walks by me in the cafeteria and I always chase them down and ask what it is. Its always L'Instant. So when I saw the deal on Amazon, I had to have it. So I sprayed it on and I was like uh, oh, old lady perfume on me. Powdery.... Then 10 minutes later, sweetish.... I was getting nervous.... 10 minutes later, luscious, dreamy--I keep smelling myself and enjoying it immensely. Its definitely still very slightly powdery underneath it all. Its classy and elegant and grown up, but soft. On the Guerlian site: Head notes : citrus honey, bergamot, mandarin Heart notes : magnolia inclusion, sambac jasmine, ylang-ylang Base notes : amber harmony, sandalwood I think why I keep smelling myself is the honey, or the amber, or the ylang ylang, or the combination of the three. I smell vanilla but its not in there. Its a wonderful blend of scents - I cannot single one of them out but together I love them. I love this one.

Fragrances -Donna Karan - Delicious Night

This perfume suffers from the same issue as Very Sexy Hot by Victoria's Secret. This perfume is a variation on Mugler's Angel - if you love Angel you will love this, if you hate it, you will definitely hate this. Definitely get a sample first and try it out before spending your money.

I am reviewing Very Sexy Hot - I love the initial hit. Its so wonderful, 20 minutes in, 30 minutes in, great. Then, surprisingly, another whole perfume comes out, that I cannot bear. The best I can describe is that it turns into a subtler version of Mugler's Angel - and I know Angel is a very 50-50 perfume - you love it or you hate it. I hated it. My husband said it was horrible. My son said it reminded him of a "roast" cooking in the oven. If you like Angel, you will like this perfume.

Fragrances -Tommy Hilfiger - Tommy Girl Jeans

I bought a small bottle of this at Walmart. I love Tommy Girl - I never fail to get compliments on it - so I figured this may be a twist on a classic. I didn't pickup on the fact that this may a teenage fragrance (I don't think it is) - just a casual play on the original. Anyway, its very citrusy, green, white, sharp. There's alot of grapefruit (you can pick up on the slightly bitter rind scent) going on. Long lasting. Tommy Girl is definitely a spring summer scent, but Jeans is only summer. Jeans is Tommy Girl's Florida cousin. I will definitely continue to use this, but only on casual days where I want to smell clean and fresh, there's less sexiness than Tommy Girl. I heard this is discontinued but I don't know if its true.

got this as an xmas gift from my m-i-l. I normally do not go for clean or citrus, but truth be told, its very pleasant and I don't mind wearing it. Its for those days where you want to smell clean and fresh, or sporty (like to a baseball game) "smile", but not too sexy. The initial hit is very citrus-y, pretty strong. Then, within 5 to 10 minutes, it really warms up and lightens up a little, you still smell the citrus, but its mixed with other scents, slightly tropical-ish. I smell coconut somewhere in there. My husband and son do like it on me too. I do like this, I will continue to keep it in my arsenal.

this was lovely but a little too heavy for me. The Classic Zen is still available, its the new Zen in the frosted beige/white bottle that is discontinued--not sure if that means just in the US.

I went to go sample this and I was prepared to buy if I did like it. I had read so many wonderful reviews, and I was eager to see if it was as nice as described. The whole Space Rose thing really intrigued me. Energizing and Relaxing are also very lovely. Classic Zen in the black bottle was a little heavy for me. The gal at Lord &Taylor has told me this one is discontinued. Not sure if that means just in the US - maybe it will be available in Japan or Europe, but for anyone who likes this one, I just wanted to let you know.

Lipstick -Clinique - Almost Lipstick - Black Honey

This is a woman's version of a lip gloss. Light, not sticky, sheer. Good shine, moist. Gives you a stained look - like you got raspberry or blackberry juice on your lips. One recommendation, use a lip liner, lip primer or foundation/powder if you have lost your defined lip line, tends to feather and look messy then you start looking a pinch blowzy (anyone over 40 knows what I mean). Otherwise, love it!

Hideous! Here's my story: Perfume shopping at Macy's. Had read mixed reviews about this one so wanted to give it a try. Top notes pleasant - light flowery scent, lasted about 5 minutes. Gave way to a second layer of only what I can describe as a scent similar to Clinique Simply, only Simply does it better, way better, there's something off about it. About 20 minutes in, it becomes hideous and nasty. Ghastly, like old lady perfume. Spicy-ish, heavy, old. Horrible. When I got home, I scrubbed and scrubbed with dishsoap until I got 99% of it off, but it still lingered. Do not buy. The initial impression is very misleading. Buyer beware-make sure you test this one thoroughly before buying a bottle.

Fragrances -Clinique - Simply [DISCONTINUED]

Very unique, imaginative, original scent. Hard to describe, what comes out first is a cucumber melon smell, then totally morphs into another creature. Understated, cool, reserved, yet warm - it works. Here are images (IMAGES!) and sensations that come to mind when I smell it, so bear with me as I try to convey my impression of this scent to you (such drama!): autumn, birch trees with no leaves, hot tea, cool fall day, burning leaves, fog, mist, an overcast gray day-a little melancholy mixed with regret, damp snow, that sudden poignant feeling you get when you realize how much time has passed.... All in all, this one evokes much emotion for me. Not a traditional fragrance.

I was just about decided to purchase the Michael Kors, when the salesperson introduced me to this one. It smelled a little warmer and less sweeter then the Michael Kors but similar. I love the smell, and I love the way I smell, but I don't think its very strong and that others smell me the way I can smell myself. I do wish it was stronger and I had more of an "aura". But I still enjoy it. I also I might try the Michael Kors and see how it wears and decide between the two. I purchased mine at Ulta for $40 for the 1 oz. When I got it home, I realized that the two colors of the bottle remind me of that Britney Spears one thats like a genie bottle, a blue bottom with pink top. This bottle is the same color. Very sexy, warm, cozy scent. 9/19 update: been wearing it everyday, doesn't last too long 3 hours or so, have to replenish.
