Moisturizers -Decleor - Aromessence Iris Night Balm

The Iris balm smells wonderful, but it doesn't sink in very well. Instead, it sits as a greasy layer on top of the skin. Despite this greasiness, I have found the balm to be very drying. Perhaps I can't tolerate the essential oils very well, but my skin is getting flakier and drier with each use.

Fragrances -Hermes - Un Jardin en Méditerranée

This is one of my favourite summer scents. I love the fig/citrus combination - the smell transports me to an orange grove in Sorrento, Italy on a warm summer day. The staying power is OK.

Fragrances -Hermes - Un Jardin Apres La Mousson

A spicy ginger and melon scent. It works great on a hot summer day as it's light and not too overpowering. The one thing that really bothers me about this fragrance is that is has no lasting power on me! The scent disappears within the hour.

Lipstick -Bloom - Lip Tint Nude

This product touts itself as a soothing lip balm that gives lips a sheer hint of colour. However, it's a lot more like a lipstick than a lip balm, and it's definately not sheer. It's a brown/plum colour on my lips. It's not horrible as far as lipsticks are concerned, but I feel like the product marketing is misleading!

Liquid -La Prairie - Skin Caviar Concealer Foundation SPF15

This is a foundation for people who love the flawless, airbrushed look that foundation gives you. If you want sheer coverage, look elsewhere. It’s quite thick and rich so if you have sensitive, oily skin, save your money. I happen to love this product, despite of its outrageous price ($AUD280 at David Jones). I dot the foundation over my face with the wand and then spread it out with either my fingers or the sponge applicator that comes with it. It gives me a lovely flawless finish that lasts the day (and well into the night). It’s quite highly pigmented so that you can get nice medium coverage with only a small amount foundation and then build from there. It look me a while to realise that less is more with this foundation, and you really don’t need a lot to get great coverage. Perhaps I’m just fortunate, but even with combination skin I haven’t had any breakouts caused by my foundation. There’s a compact with concealer in the lid as well. I love the concealer, but wish they would sell the items separately since I’ve been using it for nearly 6 months and am not even half-way through the product. I will definitely re-purchase, but over the internet since it’s way too expensive otherwise.

Primer/ Corrector -Chanel - Blanc Essential - Whitening Modeling Effect Base

I bought this product on a whim during a long layover in Singapore. As the previous reviewer mentioned, it comes in two shades, Rosee and Mimosa. The Rosee imparts a slightly pinkish-white hue to the skin whereas the mimosa has more yellow undertones. The product comes in a small plastic bottle with a pointy- squeeze top. The formula is surprisingly runny, looking a lot like milk. I usually wear this alone or under make-up. I love the way it imparts a lovely, sheer glow, and it really does lesson the appearance of lines and makes the skin look great. It doesn’t make my skin look oily, but gives it a lovely glow. My only caution would be not to apply too much otherwise it will give you too much of a whitish hue – you’ll look like you’re doing Kabuki if you’re not careful. However, just a little of this product will give you a lovely glow and blur skin imperfections. I paid 60 Singapore dollars (about 42 USD) for one bottle. UPDATE: I had to stop using this after it consistently caused me to have breakouts.

Mascara -Jemma Kidd Makeup School - Semi-permanent lash tint

This mascara is a bit expensive, but so far it's well worth the price. This stuff doesn’t budge from my lashes - no more raccoon eyes! Once applied it seems to last a few days, even after some intense workouts at the gym. It also doesn’t irritate my eyes like some other mascaras do. It can go on a bit clumpy on the lashes if you apply too much, so I only put on one coat. Update: This caused my lashes to become brittle after a few months of continuous use.

Treatments (Eye) -Revive - Eye Renewal Cream

Finally, an eye treatment that actually works! I have been using this product for over a month, and I've noticed a dramatic decrease in the fine lines around my eyes. It's a creamy-gel formula that is instantly soaked into the skin. Although it's expensive, a little goes a long way. I also love that it comes in a pump - so much more hygenic than sticking your finger in a tub . UPDATE: I'm on my third pump of Revive Eye Renewal Cream. I've tried all sorts of eye creams and this one is definately the best. The skin around my eyes is firmer and the puffiness is all gone. It's my HG eye cream.
