Blush -NARS - Exhibit A
rated 4 of 5

Let me start with that this isn't the first blush you should buy if you haven't got any. It's is a bright red, extremely pigmented blush, that very possibly will make you look like you've got a bad case of sunburn. It needs to be applied in very, very small amounts, and then carefully blended. If you do it right, you get a wonderful, flushed look, but if you overdo it (very easy to do), you look, yeah, very red. I barely wipe the blush brush in the blush, then wipe off the excess on my hand, and then apply the blush in light strokes, before I blend. It's long lasting, and if done right, you look great the rest of the day.

Lip Gloss -Urban Decay - Lip Junkie
rated 5 of 5
tutlitu 1/23/2013 4:16:00 PM

I got a little UB lip junkie lip gloss in the colour "Naked" in the first Naked palette. I had to try it on immediately, and I loved it from the first application. I haven't really noticed a plumping effect, but it tingles slightly, and has a nice, mint-y smell and taste. It wears for 1-3 hours. I love the colour, it's my lips, but better, and I've got several compliments while wearing it. I've just put an order in for the regular sized version, because I've got addicted to wearing it, and I look forward to put it on every morning. My lips often dry up and start flaking if I use unsuitable lip products, but they seem to handle UB lip junkie very well. My only complaint is that it is a bit messy to apply, I wish the application thing was a bit larger and fit my lips better, and that it didn't release as much product at the time.

Scrubs -Giovanni - Hot Chocolate Sugar Scrub
rated 5 of 5
tutlitu 1/20/2013 4:09:00 PM

This is the best scrub I've ever tried. It exfoliates well, gives moisture, and best of all, it smells wonderful. If you're a chocoholic, this is the best thing that will ever happened to you. It smells so wonderful, that I sometimes just open it to smell it. The container can fool you, as it looks like it contains more than it actually does, but price-wise, it's a good deal.

Treatments -Mario Badescu - Healing Cream
rated 5 of 5
tutlitu 1/20/2013 12:18:00 PM

This cream has done miracles for my skin. I've got dry, sensitive combination skin prone to acne, and my face usually seems to be half and half with pimples, red spots, rashes and dry, flaky skinned. I've tried creams for sensitive skin, creams for acne-prone skin, creams for dry skin, exfoliated, used masks and you know what, without much success. I was very excited when I read the reviews, and ordered the cream right away. It comes in a small jar, but thankfully you don't need a huge amount of cream, as it applies thinly. The cream itself is yellow, and has a quite neutral smell, not pleasent, not unpleasent. I do wish it came in a tube though, and not a jar, for hygienic reasons. I decided to apply it all over the face in place of a moisturizer. It feels quite heavy while you apply it, but it seems to be absorbed fast, and doesn't make me oily in the t-zone. The morning after, I woke up, my skin looking better than ever. Less redness, skin is super soft, and the dry, flaking patches seem to have magically disappeared. I was so pleased, and I've used it as a moisturizer ever since, often in combination with the control cream (for very red, irritated areas) and the drying cream (for acne, particularly good at the cystic ones). My skin looks much better, it's less redness, it's soft, but not oily, and best of all, all the dry patches are gone. No more make-up ruined by ugly, flaking skin. I will definitely repurchase, and I have every intention of purchasing more Mario Badescu products, as they seem to work wonders for my skin.

Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - Bamboo Blush Brush
rated 4 of 5
tutlitu 1/19/2013 3:48:00 PM

It's a nice brush, but not my favourite EcoTools brush. I use it for its intended purpose; to apply blush, but I find that it doesn't pick up as much product as I'd like, and the brush straws don't keep together that well. It's still a good blush brush for the price though, but not the best I've tried. No shedding, which is great.

Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - retractable kabuki

This is a good quality brush that is a must in the make-up purse I bring everywhere. It's nicely sized, soft to touch and doesn't shed. I use it for powders, blush, mineral makeup and veils, and it is definitely a multi-purpose brush. If you need one brush for your make-up purse, this is it.

Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - Bamboo Bronzer Brush
rated 5 of 5
tutlitu 1/19/2013 3:42:00 PM

I love this brush, and I use it for everything, powder, bronzer, blush, mineral veils, all-over-face colours etc. It's quite large, so if you need precision, this isn't the brush, but it's good for large-surface jobs. It also blends very well. The brush itself is very soft, dense and comfortable to use. It's one of my most used brushes, and very versatile. It hasn't shed a straw. The only "problem" is that it's a bit dense, so it takes a bit of time to dry after washing.

Concealers -Everyday Minerals - Mint Concealer
rated 1 of 5
tutlitu 1/18/2013 9:00:00 AM

I've got dry, sensitive, acne-prone skin, and I've been looking for another concealer product to cover the red lumps and bumps. I've tried this product several times, and I end up looking like I've got green spots on my face. The powder really sets in creases and dry spots around the pimples, and I haven't managed to blend it in. I've tried to just use a tiny, tiny amount, but still, all it does is make my skin green and sets into creases. It might work to cover larger areas of red skin, but not if you've got dry, chapped skin.

Treatments (Eye) -Unlisted Brand - The Emu Oil Well Moisturising Eye Cream
rated 5 of 5
tutlitu 1/14/2013 11:39:00 AM

I saw that this was a popular product at Feelunique, and as I have struggled to find eye creams that go with my sensitive skin, I decided to give it a go. It is quite unexpensive, so it wouldn't be that bad if it didn't work out. It comes in a little metal jar, a tube would have been more hygienic, but it works. A little goes a long way, and the 25 grams of cream with last for a long time, making it even less inexpensive. The cream is soft and easy to apply, and I can't say that I've noticed any weird smell what so ever. It doesn't sting, burn or cause irritation around my sensitive eye area, nor does it cause mye eyes to run. It applies smoothly, and makes the skin around my eyes soft and even. I haven't used it enough to know if it reduces fine lines, but it's definitely a good, inexpensive eye cream that go well with sensitive skin.

Concealers -Maybelline - Super Stay 24 Hour Concealer
rated 5 of 5
tutlitu 1/13/2013 12:51:00 PM

With dry, sensitive combination skin, I have struggled to find a good concealer that doesn't dry out my skin or make me break out. I've often found that most concealers doesn't stay on for that long, but this one does (as long as it's set with powder). It covers well, and is easy to blend, and stays on the entire day (not 24 hours though). I primarily use it to cover pimples, red spots etc, it feels a bit heavy to use under mye eyes, I prefer to use a highlighting concealer instead.

Liquid -MAC - Studio Sculpt SPF 15 Foundation
rated 3 of 5
tutlitu 1/13/2013 12:42:00 PM

I'm a NW15, and this foundation blends very well with my skin. The MAC salesperson recommended it because of my dry, sensitive combination skin, and while it doesn't dry out my skin, I feel that it really accentuates dry, flaky skin. It has nice coverage (medium to full), and is easy to build up. I use concealer as well, to cover red spots and acne. It has to be set with powder, or else it looks very shiny on me, but sadly, I feel that it often gets cakey, especially on my forehead and my nose. Without primer, setting powder and urban decay setting spray, I barely get an hour of wear before it looks cakey, but with primer, setting powder and setting spray, it lasts for at least 8 hours. I wish it lasted longer and caked less.

Blush -NARS - Orgasm Blush
rated 5 of 5
tutlitu 1/11/2013 11:13:00 AM

After reading all the hype about this blush, I had to purchase it. I was very excited when opening it, but to my disappointment, the blush looked very orange when I opened the box. I've got very pale skin, so I was afraid I'd get an ugly, orange look, but when I put it on, it immediately it looked wonderful. My cheeks were literally glowing, but it looked natural even without blending, and it wasn't orange at all. It has a perfect amount of glitter, not too much, not too little, and it looked great on my pale skin. I felt simply radiant, and couldn't help but keep looking in the mirror to see the wonderful glow I had. This is definitely one of my favourite blushes, and I definitely see why it's so hyped.

Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)
rated 5 of 5
tutlitu 1/10/2013 3:02:00 PM

I've got heavy eyelids and eyeshadow, no matter what brand, crease in no time, and I look like I've partied hard after an hour. I've got sensitive combination skin which is also acne prone, and it's a struggle to find products that work for me. The product is nude coloured, and easy to apply. Eyeshadow goes on like a dream, and stays on. So far, I've wore it for more than 15 hours, and there's still no creasing and the eyeshadow looks like I've just applied it. It really makes the eyeshadow pop as well, and there's less fall-out. It doesn't seem to affect my sensitive skin at all, it doesn't sting, burn or cause redness or soreness, which is awesome. I wish I could find such a good foundation primer as well. Awesome product, one of my all time favourites, and definitely worth the money. I will consider buying it in the other shades as well.
