I got a sample of this as a gift with purchase so I have a mini size. I would have never bought this product any other way tbh. It is a very wet formula that is very black but doesn't do much to my thin lashes. The wand is cone shaped and is ideal for easy and precise mascara application. However, the formula is disappointing as it does not lengthen or volumize my lashes. It is easily dissolved with water, however it is difficult to remove smudges on the eyelid. Not worth the money and I can find many drugstore mascaras that can work so much better.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Falsies

I love Maybelline mascaras and I am often time impressed with their formulas and their mascara wands. I am a BIG FAN of the Volum' Express Colossal mascara (yellow tube) and decided to give this one a go when I finished that tube. This has a curved/flexible wand which makes application to the lashes easier and distributes the product evenly to coat each lash. The formula is very wet and very black which I am okay with. It was easy to build up drama on my thin lashes and it really defined my eyes. It dries pretty crusty however, I did not experience any smudging or flaking. Removal is quite simple with warm water and mild cleanser. I like this for volumizing and thickening my lashes, however it is not enough to lengthen my lashes therefore, I prefer the Colossal!

Shampoo -John Frieda - Root Awakening Nourishing Moisture Shampoo

I originally tried the Root Awakening Strength Restoring shampoo and I loved it! I tried to look for it in drugstores but unfortunately, they changed the packaging and reformulated their products. I could no longer find that one so I opted for this nourishing moisture instead. I have long straight hair with an oily/dry scalp and dry/damaged ends. My scalp is very sensitive to shampoos and it can get very oily, or very dry. It is a difficult hair type to work with and many drugstore shampoos leave me disappointed.The Root Awakening line worked surprisingly well for my hair/scalp, I had no allergic reactions to it and I did not experience any buildup. I cleans my hair reasonably well, however, I do wash my hair everyday. It doesn't dry out my hair and leaves it feeling fresh/clean but still sleek and manageable The scent is amazing and fresh and it leaves a light scent on the hair after washing. It is a creamy white texture that lathers up really easily. It has pretty good ingredients in it except for the sulfates and the silicone. It is pricier than other drugstore finds but the quality and performance is pretty good. I don't think that if you had really dry/damaged hair will you find this moisturizing enough. I would recommend this for my normal hair girls! I like it and will continue to use the one I have now in the shower, and continue using the back up I have stored away. I really would like to go back to the Strength Restoring one though!

Lip Gloss -MAC - Force of Love Lipglass

This was a special purchase as I do not usually fall into these "limited edition" MAC collections. I really loved the colour and the Chen Man collection was pretty impressive. The lipglass is a bright hot coral with pink undertones. It has slight shimmer and it is very pigmented, enough to wear alone. It has a thicker texture than what I prefer but it lasts quite long and it has a strong colour pay-off. I like this lipglass but not enough to go out and buy it again if it was re-released. It is a special colour but I'm just not a lip gloss girl.

Lipstick -Revlon - Revlon Colorburst in Peach

I absolutely love this lipstick! The formula and the colour pay-off are right on point. It is smooth and glides on easily for a quick and simple application. The colour is a perfect, warm- toned peachy coral shade with a satin finish. It has no shimmer and leaves a natural sheen to the lips. It is not greasy and feels very light-weight on the lips. It is not too long lasting, but it leaves a subtle tint on the lips after eating/talking. I would say it lasts 4 hours maximum I really enjoy this product, and the packaging is fabulous for a drugstore price! Go out and try this if you are looking for peachy/coral shades!

I got this product on clearance for only $3.00 and it smells amazing. It is very fragrant and has a strong scent which can be too much for some people. The product is blue in colour and comes with a pump bottle. It is very thick and almost hard/solid. It is not creamy or smooth and I find myself using 2-3 pumps in order to spread it evenly to my ends. I didn't notice any results or any "nourishment". Very pricey for the quality and the amount of product you get. Overall, disappointed for a "salon" brand hair product and will not recommend or repurchase

Lip Treatments -C.O. Bigelow - Rose Salve

This was recommended to me by a lot of friends who seemed to love this multipurpose product. I bought it at BBW during one of their deals so it wasn't too bad but it is still pretty pricey at $6.50 CAD for a lipbalm. Given that it has so much product and so multipurpose I can try to justify the price. It is a light clear consistency and absorbs pretty quickly on the lips. It works amazing under a lipstick because it doesn't interfere with the colour payoff or application of the lipstick. It gives the lips a nice smooth texture without being oily or too slippery. It has a nice scent not reminding me of anything rose related but it is light. It can be used on men/women alike and I like it but it's not a necessity for me. I prefer my Blistex medicated lip balm but it ruins the application of my lipsticks so this is my go-to base/lip primer.

Moisturizers -Clean & Clear - Oil-Free Dual Action Moisturizer

I wanted to try this moisturizer out for a long time and I got it on sale! I have very very acne prone skin that is very sensitive and this stuff is pretty good. It is a light cream texture, almost gel-like and instantly absorbs into the skin. With 0.5% salicylic acid it helps treat acne pimples. It does not irritate my skin however I don't see it helping any of my acne problems. With such a small amount of the medication, it's almost useless, they should increase the amount of medication so it can really be effective. It lightly moisturizes the skin so I only recommend this for combo-oily skin types and it is a great moisturizer to layer with as well. I would recommend this and repurchase because of its light texture and handy pump but I didn't see an improvement on my skin.

This is really effective and definitely whitened my teeth! Very strong mint flavour and scent and the paste is white and quite thick. I saw results in 1week and my teeth look bright and pearly! Great find and I'm impressed. No sensitivity issues either

Lipstick -Rimmel - Lasting Finish - Funtime Fuschia

I really wanted a bold fuschia lip colour and this was more of a raspberry colour to me. It had hints of hot pink and a cherry undertone. It was matte and pigmented and easy to apply. It leaves a stain to the lips and is not that drying, but I do need a lip balm before applying this. However, it does feather around my lips and travels to the corners of my mouth. I like the colour but I would not repurchase. It doesn't look amazing on me, but it's a great colour if you are interested in a raspberry pink! I like applying this to the inner portions of my lips and spreading it out with my finger for a more natural rosy look

Mascara -Bare Escentuals - buxom lash

This was a very natural looking mascara. I would rate it a 3.5 if I could. It has a plastic wand that separated and defined my lashes. There was absolutely NO CLUMPS! It was easy to apply and to coat every lash. My problem with this is that it didn't do much for my thin eyelashes. I would apply about 1 coat to each eye and usually that is all it takes for my other mascaras to add drama and definition to my lashes, but with this, not so much. The formula was light, clean, and the packaging is amazing. It cleans the mascara wand of excess product! Good product for defining and a natural look, would work better if it was paired with a volumizing mascara. Not worth the price and would not repurchase. Not the right mascara for me but it was pretty good!

Treatments -Clearasil - Vanishing Cream

This was one of my first acne treatment creams I have ever tried and at that time, it was soo effective and dried out my pimples overnight.(tinted version) However as I grew older, my acne became more complex and worse. I bought this as again in 6 years and it was super cheap. It is a thicker cream for BP 5% that I have come across and it is pretty effective. I hate how it can rub off in flakes and leave a white ring on my skin if it is not blended out properly or if I have applied too much, It is not 'vanishing' as the other ones I have tried. It is a little cheaper than my other ones so I will most likely repurchase but for my skin, it is not as effective anymore because of my terrible skin. I like it and it works okay and it barely has a chemical scent.

Cleansers -Biore - Facial Cleansing Cloths

I bought this as makeup remover, it worked pretty well and it stayed moist for quite sometime. It cleansed my skin and didn't irritate or dry out my skin. I don't hate it but it's not that special. I paid around $8 for one box and it's too pricey in my opinion. Equate wipes are the way to go!

I love this shampoo! It makes my oily roots and dry ends feel so full of body and smooths down my frizz. It smells amazing and lathers up nicely without having too much foam. It cleanses my hair but my scalp does not feel dry or irritated. I wash my hair everyday and my hair doesn't feel as dry or frizzy, it has volume and my bangs stay in place. Will repurchase! I only use a small amount and it is enough to lather around my head. It has a good texture, not too runny or too thick. It is semi-opaque in colour and it is nearly perfect for me.

Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Studio Angled Eyeliner brush

I love this brush. It is my HG eyeliner brush for my gel liner. It is so easy to apply and precise. I've had mine for a year and I used it everyday and cleaning off hardened gel eyeliner has caused some of the bristles to flare-making a thin line nearly impossible. But I still love it. It even distributes the product very evenly on the eyelid, cheap and the quality is amazing. :)
