Lipstick -New York Color - Ultra Last Lip Wear -- 405B Blue Rose

I LOVE this color. Definitely not for everyone, but for my cool tones it ROCKS. How can you not love a 1.20 (on sale) lipstick that looks fabulous? I am neutral about the taste, like that it's not too drying. Wears okay. But hey - it's >$2. If you like bright fuschia lipstick, and love a blue duotone, you need to own this.

Lipstick -Revlon - ColorBurst Lip Butter - Raspberry Pie

This is a great berry shade - not too much though like Lollipop could be for some people. My 75 mom rocks this shade, and I like it on me too for a bit of pop but not anything too far out. I do love all the Revlon lip butters for my older lips. They are moisturizing for me, don't feel like I am wearing lipstick (don't feel heavy). Biggest down side is frequent reapplication - lousy weartime, but i am okay with that,

Fro my fair sin but quite pigmented lips, this is my go-to my lips but better. It's very understated so great with very casual looks when I don't want to look made up in anyway... I do love all the Revlon lip butters for my older lips. They are moisturizing for me, don't feel like I am wearing lipstick (don't feel heavy). Biggest down side is frequent reapplication - lousy weartime, but i am okay with that,

Lipstick -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter in Fig Jam

I really though this wouldn't work with my fair, coo skin tone, but it looks really good. I really like that these are not opaque, and thus more wearable than a lipstick in this color would be. Pretty shade. I do love all the Revlon lip butters for my older lips. They are moisturizing for me, don't feel like I am wearing lipstick (don't feel heavy). Biggest down side is frequent reapplication - lousy weartime, but i am okay with that,

Love it - not as bright as Raspberry pie or Lollipop, very wearable. Nice for my fair cool toned skin type.

Eyeliner -Milani - Infinite Liquid Eye Liner
tryingitout 3/19/2012 12:45:00 PM
If you are like me and can't find a liner that stays on - buy this! NONE of the liners people recommended had any staying power (less than 3 hours) for my oily, oily lids. This stays ALL day and ALL night. And if it starts to go, it flakes off. I actually gave away almost all my other liners, because I hate looking like a racoon! I was new to liquid liners, so I started with a gel liner brush, but as I have gotten better, I think there is a learning curve with any liquid liner, and I now can easily use the brush that comes with it to apply. It doesn't dry instantly so you have a little time to fix mistakes (I keep a q-tip soaked in eye make up remover handy!).. I love the color range and the price. I was wearing the green for St. Pats! For me, and my crazy lids, this is the only product that stays.

Cleansers -L'Oreal - Revitalift Radiant Smoothing Cleansing Towelettes

I really like these as they are: -moderately wet - Not too dry, not too damp -don't irritate my skin - are more moisturizing than the cheap brands - don't sting when used around my eyes -got a good price with coupons/sales ($~3.50) Downsides: - just okay at removing stubborn eye liner/mascara (I use a seperate product) - too gentle to be exfoliating at all I find these are especially nice if I am playing with makeup and need to remove eye shadow or lipstick multiple times - the one I was using before left the are around my eyes stinging!

Hair -L'Oreal - EverSleek Frizz Taming Creme Serum
tryingitout 3/18/2012 1:25:00 PM
This is a light-duty product which is perfect for taking the frizz out of my already straight, thick hair without weighing it down or making it feel oily. I don't think it would work if you need a heavy duty product for curly/really frizzy hair, but for me it smooths and sleeks beautifully. It's the best treatment I have found so far - I put one pump on my damp hair and dry, and it has such a nice feel afterwards I want to keep touching my hair. I haven't noticed the smell, so it can't be too good or too nasty. I have noticed it does look EXACTLY like semen, so if that is too gross for you, buy something else!

Lip Gloss -Sally Hansen - Moisture Twist 2-in-1 Primer + Color
tryingitout 3/10/2012 3:01:00 AM
I bought this because I got a great deal at CVS, and recently went on a gloss kick. I got 6 shades. Twisted Nude - Nice nude lip Mixed up Mauve - also looks liek a nude on me Fuschia Fusion - pretty fuschia Cherry tart - nice, but a little too warm for my coool skin Plum poirette - Great my-lips-but better for me Berry blend - another sutle shade on me They have nice pigmentation for a gloss and are buildable. Seem very hydrating for me (dry lips are a feature of mine. Nice feel for me - not too thin, and not sticky. Maybe a tiny bit greasy, but not bad at all.
