My favourite mascara is the Maybelline Falsies however as that dries up ridiculously quick I needed something that would last a little longer. The first step does little at all besides separate my lashes slightly. I could actually do without this step and feel it is a little unnecessary. The second step however is amazing. It is very clumpy and thick so I wouldn't recommend this for shorter lashes however mine are quite long so I feel I can work with a more clumpy product. I sweep this over my lashes several times to create a very dramatic almost false lash effect. This mascara makes my eyelashes look fab and I have had several comments asking whether I am wearing fake lashes. I must say however that this cost me around £10 from Boots which I feel is absolutely too much for a high street brand!
This is definitely a 'my lips but better' colour - the perfect everyday pink lipstick! It's not too frosty and smells delicious. I usually need to wear a lot of lip balm with lipsticks as I have dry lips however this is so moisturising that i don't even need to worry about that. I think that everyone needs this lipstick in their life!
To put it bluntly - this product is not worth the price! If possible, definitely try and get a sample before you spend the crazy amount that Benefit charge. This highlighter is far too pinky/silvery for my skin tone - nc20. I think it would be much more suitable for very light skin. It does however make a good brow bone or inner corner highlight however this can also be achieved through inexpensive eyeshadows. I do like the packaging but it is just not worth the cost. I would defintiely recommend MACS cream colour base in Pearl over this.
This gold toned shimmery highlighter is perfect on my skin tone - nc20. It is very natural looking as it is a cream product and provides just the right amount of shimmer without being overpowering on the skin. There is 3.2g in each pot so will last a long time.
This is definitely a love hate foundation. I personally really like it as I think the gel formula is great for blending and it gives amazing coverage from the smallest amount. A pea sized amount is enough to cover my entire face which makes this better value for money than most MAC foundations. The colour range for this foundation is also better than most of MACS as it is not centralised on yellow tones like studio fix fluid. It has a satin finish so is not overly matte but is not dewy. I also happen to love the smell of it! Downside - this foundation tends to flake around dry areas such as my nose or forehead.
The most gorgeous shimmery colour. Perfect when worn alone as an eyeshadow or when used as a base. This product is so versatile and I feel it would work with any skin tone. I use it almost every day all over the lid with some black winged liner. It's perfect for brightening the lid with a lovely sheen. Only downside to this product is that it does dry up - I have had my pot for about a year and it is beginning to dry around the edges.
This is advertised as a matte foundation and is definitely that! I personally prefer a more satin finish however this foundation is great for those days when i just want to cover everything up. The coverage is definitely full however with a small amount and a lot of blending it can definitely be medium. The colours are very yellow toned which is something to note when choosing this foundation - it is not for everyone! The lasting power is incredible. The only downside to this foundation is that you have to pay extra for the pump. HIGH STREET/DRUGSTORE DUPE: Revlon Colourstay (practically the same foundation)
Lovely blue toned pink colour. Goes on slightly chalky and is very thick in texture. Definitely requires a lot of lip balm before hand and I always use a little gloss after as it is very drying and tends to just 'sit' on my lips. This lipstick has amazing staying power and will not budge.
Lovely baby pink lipstick with purple undertones. I hated this lipstick when I first purchased it as I felt it was too purple but I am starting to use it more now as I know it is so popular for a reason! When applied it goes on creamy and is very pigmented however it feels slightly gritty on my lips - this could be due to the frost finish which is not my favourite.
Gorgeous baby pink nude colour. Creamy upon application however it does tend to highlight dry patches on the lips so make sure to exfoliate and apply a lot of moisturiser. I do not think this suits my skin tone which is a shame as it is the perfect colour to team with a smokey eye. I am an nc20 but extremely freckly and so feel this colour washes me out slightly. I will not repurchase but will continue to try and make this colour work for me.
This is THE lipstick to wear with a tan. When I first purchased it I was an nc15 and didn't feel like it suited me, however during the summer I was an nc40 (My skin tans like crazy) and it became my go to lipstick. It's absolutely gorgeous with a tan the dusky pink colour really brings out the gold flecks. I find the lipstick a little drying so would always wear with a gloss - I feel it suits a gloss very well anyway. I think everyone should at least try this lipstick on in store during the summer!!
I can't believe it's taken me this long to discover this lipstick! I would call this a true barbie pink colour. It's extremely pigmented and moisturising which is great. I'm nc20 and feel it suits my skin tone better than any other lipstick I own. I've never been brave enough to try any colour other than baby pinks however this has now changed my perspective. What a lovely lipstick. Will definitely repurchase.
This is the most perfect pink lipstick I have ever found! I also begrudge paying the amount MAC charge for lipsticks but I will repurchase this colour again and again! I would describe the colour as a dusky pink. The finish is a cremesheen so it's extra moisturising but stays on well. I had to reapply every couple of hours which was fine.
As much as I wanted to love this lipstick I just can't get it to work for me. I have nc20 skin and am extremely freckly and I just feel that this lipstick is too pale for me. My lips are quite thin also so I am very picky about lipsticks. The lipstick is a cremesheen which is my favourite formula. I really want to try and make this lipstick work as it looks so lovely on some people!
Very bright pink in the pan - payoff is exactly the same. Needs a light hand when applying. Beautiful colour - my most used MAC blush. Will definitely repurchase. Staying power like most MAC products is amazing, lasts all day on my skin.
