Shampoo -Paul Mitchell - Super Strong daily shampoo
tracy1031 7/4/2012 1:35:00 AM
I am surprised at the reviews stating this made their hair tangly. It was definitely the opposite for me, it made my hair very smooth and silky. Too much so that it weighed my hair down quite a bit. My hair is shoulder length and layered so I like it to be soft and "fluffy" rather than sleek. However, my hair is fine/medium and very healthy so I probably didn't need this much moisture. Plus, it has silicones and my hair does much better with shampoos that don't. It smells amazing though. I think if your hair was color treated and needed some love, this shampoo and conditioner would work just fine.

Liquid -Lancome - Photogenic [DISCONTINUED]
tracy1031 11/20/2010 1:45:00 PM
in the summer time, I do not like this because my skin gets so oily and this slides right off and feels much too moisturizing. The texture is very smooth, and it feels like a hydrating day cream. However, in the winter my skin gets dry and this is really nice. I tried Dior Nude and it was awful, and felt wierd on my skin, so I went and tried this again and it was great. For reference, I also like to use Chanel hydramax tinted moisturizer right now. I like this one most out of all of Lancome's foundations, because once you put it on (if you have normal, normal/dry, or dry skin) it sinks it but it still gives you some coverage without looking like make up. It is very natural if you get matched correctly.

Eyeliner -L'Oreal - Carbon Black Lineur Intense Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner
tracy1031 7/25/2010 1:31:00 AM
strange...I love the felt tip applicator. however I must have gotten a dud, because the carbon black eyeliner that i bought with the brush tip applicator gives me a super black line, and this one gives me a very watered down version of it. I'm not sure what happened..this has also happened to me with the reguar lineur intense (in black mica). very strange, guess Ill be buying from bartells or somewhere with a return policy for the crappy ones. when I have gotten good ones though (with dark black color and also felt tip) they are GREAT..similiar to lancome's artliner but much better price. and a bit longer lasting too... one lippie off for unpredictability, sigh.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Bare Naturale Mascara
tracy1031 7/20/2010 11:29:00 PM
this gives you a natural look, which is fine for me. however what I do not like is that it flakes, and by the end of the day I have no mascara on.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Paint Pot in Painterly
tracy1031 7/5/2010 1:36:00 AM
this dried out so fast for me, and then it was like clay. it made me eyeshadows look flat, which I should've known based on the fact that it is matte and the consistency. Will not repurchase

Blush -MAC - Melba

this is soo orange on me :( In certain lighting it can look nice, but sometimes I feel like it just looks super orange on my NC30 skin. Will stick to NARS.

Pressed Powders -Origins - Silk Screen
tracy1031 6/24/2010 8:02:00 PM
I have been using this powder for the last 3 months, and so far I really like it. I love the finish, it doesn't look cakey or powdery its very smooth. Similiar to how MAC Natural finish looks right after I apply it, really nice and smooth except it is not shimmery. I have been reading reviews of the color Sesame and Caramel Mousse for skintones NC40ish which is strange because both these shades match me and I am NC30. I do use a huge fluffy brush and it looks very natural on me. I was originally matched to Camel but it had too much of a pink tone for my skin, and Sesame is perfect for my olive skin. I would definitely give this a try if you are looking for a powder with medium coverage. Price is very reasonable for me since it lasts so long and quality is really great.

Lip Gloss -Lancome - color fever gloss- DELIRIUM
tracy1031 11/28/2009 12:54:00 AM
not bad, i love the applicator, packaging, scent, and its not too sticky. however, i did not mean to grab this I wanted hotness and accidently picked this up instead. This color does not suit my NC25 skin tone as well, since it is a bit too silvery. i think it would look really good on someone with cooler skin though hence the 4 star rating

Lipstick -Bobbi Brown - Creamy Lip Color in Rose Petal
tracy1031 11/11/2009 11:01:00 AM
this is a good everyday color MLBB really! It smooths out any little "lines" on my lips. I do agree they have a bit of lijpstick feel, although definitely not as drying as any ordinary lipstick. I would repurchase again just for the great color match even though it is a bit pricy

Crème -BeneFit Cosmetics - Some Kind-A Gorgeous

the SA told me this is a really light product and feels nice on the skin. I HATE the way it feels-vaseliney and slimey (maybe it has silicones) and too made up looking. ick

Foundations -LORAC - Natural Performance Foundation
tracy1031 10/9/2009 1:01:00 AM
this wasn't bad on me, and I liked it enough to recommend this because I am a tm fan so this looked a little heavy on me. this didn't cause any breakouts on my my sensitive skin. I do agree it leaves a bit of an orange cast after a while, so get a sample!

Blush -NARS - Madly
tracy1031 9/16/2009 1:14:00 AM
this blush is lovely, very pretty and great quality. However, it doesn't do exactly what I want for my complexion. It DOES look nice, but I need a little bit more color. If this had the teeniest bit more peach or rosey tone in it, it would PERFECT. this can be easily corrected by layering another layer of another color, but I am determined to find another nars blush that will work better for me. I am NC30 right now, although I am aware that many people with my coloring are saying it is working well for them, I think NC25 or lighter would be in love with this blush! price wise, comparable to other HE blushes. packaging is perfect- minimalist not bulky at all

Eye Shadow -Neutrogena - Mineral Sheers For Eyes in Pebble
tracy1031 9/13/2009 8:19:00 PM
Are these being discontinued? I can't find them anymore. Neutrogena mineral es are SO great, I've been using this shade and sand forever. Pretty much since I've started using makeup. Natural looking shimmer! I've since gotten into makeup and own lots of of e/s from mac, origins, nars, benefit, but these are still some of the best around.
