Styling Products -Clairol - Tousle Me Softly Mousse

This mousse did not give me any tousle at all. I was disappointed, since I tried very hard just to get a somewhat curl. The smell was too over-powering, and gave me a bit of a headache. It smelled very floral without the old-ladyness. Packaging is cute, and I enjoyed the "pump" at the top. I will not be repurchasing
Styling Products -TRESemme - Instant Heat Tamer Spray

This product, I noticed, did prevent split ends. I use heat on my hair about three times a week, and I always use this! I like the smell, it smells fresh and clean. The spray bottle is a plus too, but I find sometimes the nozzle doesn't want to cooperate. It definitely helps with the heat, and lessens the static in my hair. A great but at only around $3!
Eyeliner -Cover Girl - Liquiline Blast in Brown Blaze

I was pretty pleased with this liner. The first few applications went perfectly, and lasted a while but not all day at school, which I have a difficult time finding a liner that does that. I thought for some reason that this wasn't a pencil, since it seemed more plastic-like than wooden. The sharpener didn't exactly help, either, and it was difficult getting a point on it suitable enough to apply. I love the smudging on the end, although I almost never used it because I almost always thought the line I had looked fine. The color is very pigmented, and brought out my eyes a lot. A good pencil overall.
Eyeliner -Jordana - Easyliner for Eyes (Retractable Pencil)

My boyfriend got this pencil for me in two colors: black and brown suede. He had surprised me for Christmas, since I had said I was running low on eyeliner. Both colors don't compliment me very well; they would look better on someone else. They look very nice when first applied, and it took a few applications before a bold line I wanted would show. I wouldn't recommend these for school-aged girls, I play sports during the day and after that hour it's all ready worn away and I'm too sweaty to re-apply. I, however, ADORE the retractibility feature. The liner itself gives a lot for money's worth, indefinitely. My boyfriend only spent around $4, so I was satisfied he gave me a decent gift (including other things, of course) with so little money. This liner is just not the one for me, and I have yet to find one.
This is my first and only clear mascara! It was very suitable for my lashes, but it only lasted for a few hours. And after a while, my lashes looked the way they did before I applied it. I wish it didn't show the clearness of it, because I like to layer my mascaras and some of the blackness came into the tube. Overall, a good mascara and like the reviews before me, good for eyebrows
One of my favorite mascaras! Gives my lashes a little, natural-looking boost. It gives them a lot of definition and doesn't make them clumpy at all! I was amazed when I used it to for the first time. I recommended it to all the girls I know, and the consensus is that it's good. I chose the "black drama" color. Love since the first use.
The Define-A-Lash mascara is nothing to write home about, in my experience using it. I have had two tubes, and I have found both times I have found that the mascara is too wet for my taste. My eyelashes are a bit short, and this mascara, if used very little, does a good job at adding some length and definition to them. The packaging is very cute, but the wand is too slender and breakable for me. Overall, a decent mascara.
This was the first mascara I had ever purchased. I was not pleased with it at first, it was much too wet and uncontrollable to apply. I decided to put it away for a few months. When I put it on, the formula seemed "drier", if that makes sense. It worked beautifully, and I have repurchased multiple times since. It gives my lashes definition and volume without clumping up or flaking out. One time I had to run through a storm to the gym from school, and it was still perfectly on when I got to the gym and inspected my makeup. Must-have!
Hair Styling Tools -Conair - Instant Heat 3/4 inch Curling Iron

Being half Asian, my hair does not like much heat, product, or various stylings of any kind. This curling iron held my nice-looking, sleek ringlets for a few hours (with my load of hairspray!) and fell a bit continuously after. I know I'm not going to use it much, and when I do it'll be for special occasions to give me those curls I desire. This product I got on amazon for around $12, and I was deeply satisfied with this purchase. Works very well, but the heat dial is set in an awkward place so sometimes my hand slips and changes the setting. I keep it on 13/25, my hair hasn't smoked or burned on the setting. Great curling iron!
