Hair Styling Tools -GHD - Original GHD Hairstyling Iron with Ceramic Technology

I had previously bought a straightener from a salon that definitely did not compare to this one. GHD is pretty expensive, but does all that you would expect it to. I haven't mastered the 'curling' with it though...

Blush -Annabelle - Duo Blush in Doll Face

I really like this duo. I am fair and find this colour gives me a nice rosy glow. It works best if I am wearing a tinted moisturizer or foundation -- it doesn't hold on to bare skin as well. I haven't tried Nars blushes or the like yet, but I am pretty happy with this drugstore brand.

Mascara -Too Faced - Lash Injection

If you are looking for a tube mascara, try Blinc Kiss Me Mascara. I tried out Lash Injection because it promised to be more thickening, but was pretty unhappy with the product. Kiss Me is not terribly thickening, but goes on very nicely, and wipes off extremely easily at the end of the day.

This is my favourite beauty product of all time. I have light eyelashes, so if I am going to put one thing on in the morning, it would be mascara. Any other mascaras I have tried result in dark circles by the end of the day. This mascara does flake off somewhat during the day (you may have to wipe some flakes off), but it does not smudge. It's especially great for lower lashes. I am curious as to whether cheaper 'tube' mascara brands are comparable, but am so in love with this product I haven't tried one yet. I did try Too Faced Lash Injection, but I did not like it as much. Lash Injection is more thickening, but not nearly as nice of a product. Also great for swimming -- you will have to rub it off a bit once in the water, but won't emerge from the water looking like a raccoon.

Shampoo -L'Oreal - EverPure Sulfate-free Color Care Shampoo

I am always trying different shampoos and used to find myself going back to Pantene over and over. I find this shampoo is much better than Pantene, although more expensive. I dye my hair blonde, so it is dry and damaged. Everpure leaves my hair quite soft and shiny. I am a bit infatuated with the smell as well. At first I thought it was sort of manly (mint and rosemary?), but it won me over very quickly. I find it quite refreshing and not overpowering.

Hair Color -L'Oreal - Dream Blonde

I'm already fairly blonde, but wanted to take the blonde up a notch. I use #11 (the lightest shade), and I am very happy. My hair is a very shiny pale blonde. My only criticism is this: The instructions say to put product all over the hair for the last 5 minutes when touching up. I did that for the first bit, but experienced a lot of damage. Just touching up the roots every 6 weeks does the trick for me.
