I purchased this foundation in N8 cappuccino; which is a very great match (not perfect but what is). I usually use Revlon PhotoReady or ColorStay. This is a very good foundation for someone like me with combination skin. It didn't make my face feel dry or like an oil slick. It doesn't rub off throughout the day. However, this is a very light foundation. I wouldn't use this if I was going out at night, it's best used as a foundation for a natural/neutral look. Still on the look out for my HG foundation, but this one is a good, cheap foundation for daytime use.

OMG! Can you say HG product!? I have very kinky-curly, natural african-american hair and this made my hair poker straight, which no matter what I try or what products I use, never happens. I airdried to about 70% and then put about 15-20 sprays in my shoulder length hair. It made my blow-dry process go by quicker than usual, and I didn't look like a chia pet afterwards for once. After flat ironing it got my unruly hair relaxer straight! Now, washing my hair won't feel like such a chore anymore. If you're on the fence about this product, I would definitely buy it.

Powder -Cover Girl - TRUblend Pressed Powder

I absolutely love this product. It sets my foundations perfectly, or I can wear it by itself. It's my go to powder in the morning time-- I actually buy this in twos so I can have one in my makeup bag and one at home. I've hit pan on so many of these it's ridiculous!

I purchased this when I was just getting into makeup; one of my friends swore by this stuff and I just had to have it. I just don't think this was the foundation for me; it is a good beginner foundation because it is amazing on my friend if I use one of my own makeup brushes rather than the built in one it comes with.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast

This is another product I really wanted to like, I've heard so many great reviews about it as well as a lot of my friends who rave about it-- but I think the thick brush was the downfall to me liking this mascara. I think it's great for people with naturally longer lashes who just wants something to define them a little but this really didn't do anything for me unfortunately.

I wanted to like this because it's purple and that's my favorite color, but I have sparse lashes and this mascara really didn't do much for them. This mascara ended up being a waste of my money.

I like this eyeliner, however the smudge thing always falls off in my makeup bag.... it's decently priced and it's average quality. Not my go to eyeliner, but it does the job.

I don't understand all the praise of this foundation. I'll admit that I found my skin tone, but this foundation just sits on top of my skin. It doesn't blend in at all. God forbid I want to give someone wearing a white shirt a hug, because there goes a big brown stain on their shirt because it transfers so easily. This was actually the first foundation that I purchased and wore outside of the house. It was so obvious all the time that I was wearing makeup-- I can't believe someone didn't slap some sense into me sooner. The shades are great for african american skin tones, especially darker skintones-- but Cover Girl can keep this crap. (However, if they want to make a better product I love the packaging design)

Powder -Revlon - ColorStay Pressed powder

Purchased this product in medium deep and it made my skin look ashy and the color was way off. They didnt have a darker shade, but even if a powder is too light for me in other brands it never makes me look chalky and ashy. Just ridiculous, would not ever repurchase or recommend.

Mascara -Maybelline - The Falsies in Black Drama

This is my favorite mascara by far. My favorite mascara used to be lash stiletto, but this mascara has that one beat by far! This mascara makes my short lashes look amazing! It definitely adds both length and volume to my lashes, and makes them look 2-3 times longer than without mascara. This mascara also is long lasting and it's not as runny as other drugstore mascaras that I've tried in the past. I would recommend that everyone tries this at least once.

I really like this mascara, it used to be my favorite until they came out with the falsies. If they hadn't created the falsies, this would still be my go to mascara. This mascara makes my short lashes look so long, and the mascara doesn't budge. I'm talking I could get off work, and hit up happy hour and won't have to touch up my mascara at all!

This polish chipped so quickly on my nails, I was ashamed that I had paid the amount that I did for it. This is supposed to be a high quality nail polish-- and I am very displeased with the outcome of it.

OMG I wasn't expecting these nail polishes to work that well; especially since china glaze has been chipping pretty quickly on me with some of their recent colors. But I only paid $2 bucks a piece for these nail polishes and they've been holding up pretty well. Also they come in such a wide array of colors that I might have to make this my go to nail polish and stock up! Definitely recommend this to anyone who loves nail polish =]

I really like the way that this foundation looks when I apply it, it looks great and very natural in pictures, it gives me great coverage. It makes my skin look great, and it doesn't look oily after a few hours like a lot of liquid foundations do to me. This foundation would be my favorite if it didn't break me out at times. Also, it smells awful and it would be wonderful if it came with a pump to make it a little easier to apply. I would repurchase, however, it won't be the foundation that I wear daily.

When I first applied this foundation, I really liked it. It has great coverage, and gives my skin a nice dewy glow. However, I guess my skin is too much on the oily side for this to really work for me. I wouldn't recommend this is you have combination-oily skin. It would probably work wonderfully for someone whose skin is more on the dry side. I wish that there was a way that I could make this makeup work better for me, because it does look great when I first apply it.
