I bought this based on the good reviews I've read here and at Sephora.com. I feel like I got a completely different product than the one I've been reading about. Let me just say that I normally use MMU because that's what I've consistently gotten the most natural-looking results with, but I wanted a liquid foundation for winter. The problems I has with MUFE HD were many: 1. It did not look the least bit natural. I tried every application technique I could think of. I used sponges, a foundation brush, my fingers--every time it looked like I was wearing a mask. A scary one. 2. For my age, I have very young-looking skin, but MUFE HD accentuated EVERY teeny, tiny fine line I have. And I don't have large pores, but this makeup sure made it look like I do. I tried using a silicone-based primer (despite the fact that I hate them) to resolve this problem, but it didn't help, it made my skin look greasier and it made my new makeup mask feel even thicker. 3. Two words: clogged pores. It seemed like MUFE HD did the opposite of what it was supposed to do for me. It made me look old and like I had horrible skin. I will say that the color matched my skin perfectly, it covers up any discolorations really well (probably due to its mask-like effect) and that the packaging is pretty good. It comes in a pump, so at the very least, you won't have a bacteria-ridden bottle of foundation sitting around in a month. This is a pretty pricey product, but I'm the type of person that will pay ridiculous amounts of money for just about anything, as long as it is spectacular. Obviously, this was not one of those products for me. Needless to say, I returned the MUFE HD to Sephora. This was such a bad experience, I probably won't even try looking for another liquid foundation. MMU might me a tad dry for winter, but at least it doesn't make me look like an old hag.

Treatments -Cargo - Blu Ray Polishing Cloths

I might have the oiliest skin on the planet, but I often have dry, flaky patches from using retinols & glycolic and azelaic acid products. It makes it nearly impossible to wear any kind of liquid or mineral foundation without looking like I have some weird skin condition. At first I was very skeptical that these would work at all because the cloths themselves don't feel the least bit exfoliating, and it doesn't feel like you are actually doing any exfoliating when you're washing your face with them. But when I was done my face felt baby soft, with not a single flake in sight. I have been able to keep my skin mostly clear of blemishes for over a year by using the Clarisonic and a glycolic acid cleanser, so I am continuing the same routine and using these cloths (with a mild soap like Purpose) after my usual cleansing. I have been absolutely delighted with the results of using these, and really pleased that I don't have to use something like fine-grit sandpaper to achieve them. I will definitely keep buying them. The only thing I don't really like about them is the packaging--they come in just a flimsy card stock box and nothing else. It would be nice if they were at least in a resealable plastic bag or something.

Treatments -Mario Badescu - Buffering Lotion

I have really super oily skin. I don't have too many blackheads or regular whiteheads, but I have had problems with huge, inflamed under-the-skin pimples for years. The only thing that has really helped at all is azelaic acid 20% creams, but it seems like I almost always have one of these giant pimples still. Recently my skin broke out the worst it has since I was a teenager, I think due to stress. Nothing was helping except benzoyl peroxide 2.5%, which had the added effects of making my skin really dry on the surface and making me look like I had a bad sunburn. I actually bought the MB Buffering Lotion a very long time ago but never really used it, because based on the ingredients, the runny consistency, and the weird, almost greasy texture, I didn't think it could possibly be effective. Well, after two weeks of having enormous zits all over my face, I finally took this off my bathroom shelf out of sheer desperation. I couldn't believe the improvement I saw when I woke up in the morning. All those pimples that had been a constant source of agony were unnoticeable three days later. I am continually amazed at how well this stuff works. I use this on my whole face every day now. I just apply it directly to my face and rub it in. I haven't had any problems with dryness or sensitivity. There are other MB products I like, but this is one I don't ever want to live without.
