Toners -Erno Laszlo - conditioning prep

This is my night toner. I have long wanted to use EL products, but didn't know where to start. This is wonderful. It does sting momentarily when applied, but that fades quickly. I have no blemishes, and I have to think that this is the primary reason why. I do wish this came with a pump, but I'll manage just fine as is.

Toners -Guerlain - 'Super Aqua' Toner
rated 5 of 5

I bought this about a month ago (thanks for the recommendation lollipop26). I use it every morning after cleansing, in place of a moisturizer. I live in SW Florida, so I don't have to deal with cold weather, though I still need daily moisture. I have very oily skin and deal with high humidity, but this doesn't irritate me at all. It has a lovely rose scent and feels like heaven when I pat it on with my hands (I feel that it is too expensive to waste on a cotton pad). One pump is all it takes. Afterwards, I use a BB Cream and voila, my skin is ready for makeup. My skin has changed for the better since I started using this. Despite the high price, I plan to purchase again. When you find the right products for your skin, I guess you are willing to pay for the results.

Cleansers -Smashbox - Cleansing Oil
rated 5 of 5

Hands down, best cleansing oil I've ever used. Dissolves all of my makeup with minimal effort. I work eleven+ hour days, so I pack on the makeup- including primer and long wearing foundation. I used to use eye makeup remover, cold cream and cleanser, yet some product always remained. Not anymore. Three pumps is all I need to remove every trace. After I work it into my skin for 30 seconds, I splash with warm water and gently massage my face several times. This does a pretty good job of getting all the oil off. (I do follow with Erno Laszlo Conditioning Preparation, so that removes any excess from my t-zone.) I bought this from an Ebay seller, so I did not pay the full $69. I think I paid around $10. I've been using it for more than a month now and my skin is amazing. I like it so mush that I went ahead and purchased another bottle. That was a premature purchase though, because I've barely made a dent in this even though I use it every night. I hope they never stop making this amazing product.

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Aspirin Toner
rated 3 of 5
tnbelleusa 11/25/2008 10:03:00 AM

Like everyone, I have my own recipe for this. Small spray bottle (2 oz.) 1/2 filled with hot water 2 crushed aspirin Good-size squirt of Fruit of the Earth Aloe Vera Gel Fill the rest of the way with Witch Hazel Replace Bottle top and Shake I spritz this all over my face, chest, neck, shoulders and back every morning. I live in SW Florida, so my already super oily skin is even worse because of the heat and humidity. Despite being in my 30's, I break out constantly and my large pores are always clogged. After reading about this last week, I gave it a try. Wow! My skin is so clear and the oiliness is in check for the first time in years. I will continue to use this until the day I die. It is remarkable. All of the items were purchased at Wal-Mart for less than $7, and they should last the better part of a year. Just remember to make a fresh batch once a week. I prefer the spray bottle because I don't like to use cotton balls unnecessarily. Waste not, want not. Give this a try and be patient. I saw results right away. Other people may need a week or two to notice a difference. It is absolutely worth the wait. Good luck! Update: Had to stop using. It took me almost 20 years of using products with Salicyllic Acid to learn that it is the cause of my sensitive skin issues (sometimes I'm not very bright). Regardless, if you can take SA, use this toner. It works.

Eye Shadow -Coastal Scents - 28 Neutral Palette
rated 5 of 5

Love the colors. You can't get any better than this palette. Believe it or not, a woman at the MAC counter told me about this. After I bought it, I went back to MAC and match 22 of the colors exactly and got pretty close on the others. This is less than $22 and the packaging isn't 1st class, but that doesn't matter. The pigment is rich and the colors have phenomenal staying power. I wear this every day and have gotten numerous compliments. I've even turned several friends and coworkers on to this palette and the colors are flattering to every skin tone. Update: Used this just about every day until a few weeks ago. I purchased the 88 neutral palette, though not from Coastal Scents. (I advise everyone to stop purchasing from them. To make a long story short, this company is bad news. I live and work within blocks of CS, and they have some questionable practices that would make most of you stop buying from them. I will write a more detailed explanation later.) Bough the 88 on Ebay and it is a dream.

Eye Primer -Coastal Scents - Eye Poxy Primer
rated 1 of 5

This is an amazing product! I live in SW Florida, and my makeup usually melts off after a couple hours. Not with this. My eye makeup stays on all day. I put my makeup on a 7am, and it's still there at 7 pm. The secret to this product is to use a tiny bit, rub it between your ring fingers and dab it on your eyelid. This is the best primer I have ever used. The inexpensive price is a bonus, and it lasts forever. Update: Stopped using. Dried out pretty quickly. Moving on to the famed UDPP.
