This made my thick, wavy, colored hair sticky and heavy. I've tried it on wet hair, and on dry hair before blow drying and/or straightening it but it doesn't work for me. My hair gets wavy within a day or two and as an extra bonus the spray got clogged every time I used it.

Lotions/ Creams -Decleor - Moisturizing Body Milk

This is just fantastic! I've got pretty dry skin and in the winter time with the cold it gets even worse, but with my L'Occitane shower oil and applying this moisturizing after showering I've now got soft, silky smooth skin. The body milk comes in a bottle with pump, is light, has a good, mild smell, a little goes a long way and it absorbs quickly into the skin. I only apply it after showering and it can keep my skin soft and silky up to a couple of days. This is my first winter with no fish skin. I definitely recommend it for dry skin types!

Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Nutmeg and Vanilla Body Lotion

I just love the smell! It's a little sweet, but with a spicy undertone. The lotion is light and absorbs quickly into the skin. It leaves the skin feeling soft, moist, and with a nice mild smell. It's however not enough moist in it for my dry skin, so I have to reapply too often for my taste to keep my skin soft and moist. I give it 3 lippies anyway because it's very likely that I would use this once in a while because of the fantastic smell!

I just love the smell! It's a little sweet, but with a spicy undertone. The shower gel lathers up greatly, and feels good when you use it, but it does dry out my skin a lot, it's probably because of the SLS. I give it 3 lippies anyway because it's very likely that I would use this once in a while because of the fantastic smell!

Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Body Butter Shea

I've usually been a fan of TBS products, but it seems like the body butters doesn't do anything for me in the long run. I've got dry to very dry skin. (In the winter time my skin is like fish skin.) This body butter smells OK, maybe a little to strong, but it's too greasy. It takes a while before it gets absorbed, so it feel sticky on the skin for a while. The smell also lingers and sets in the clothes. The skin does how ever feels kind of moist for a while, but you have to reapply kind of often to keep it moist. I think that this body butter may be better for skins that lacks fat and not moist, but that's just my conclusion.

Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Aloe Body Butter

This body butter feels lighter than the other TBS body butters I've tried. It has a mild kind of sweet smell that doesn't linger, and it gives a good amount of moist to my dry skin. The body butter absorbs quicker to the skin than many others. I do however have to reapply it kind of often to keep my skin moist so it doesn't do it for me on an everyday basis. Because of the aloe vera I decided to try it after sun tanning and I find that it's great for that.

Shampoo -TiGi - Bed Head Moisture Maniac Shampoo & Conditioner
rated 1 of 5

A friend of mine recommended this and I honestly thought that I was going to love it, but it makes my thick, colored, wavy hair dry, and frizzy, and my sensitive scalp itched like I had flees. I really felt like the smell was good though, a fresh fruity smell. I bought it in this large size, so I let my preteen daughter try it, but she ended up with the same dry, frizzy hair, and the itching was even worse on her. Now I use it on my make-up brushes when I clean them every other week...

A friend of mine recommended this shampoo. I honestly thought that I was going to love it, but it made my thick, colored, wavy hair dry and frizzy (I used it combined with the conditioner). My sensitive scalp itched like I had flees. I really felt like the smell was good though, a fresh fruity smell. I bought it in this large size, so I tried to use it on my preteen daughter, but her hair became as frizzy and dry as mine, and she itched even more, so now I use it on my make-up brushes when I clean them every other week...

Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Studio Powder Brush

This brush is very dens and soft and it's the best brush I've ever used to put on my fluid foundation. It doesn't leave streaks, it doesn't soak up the foundation and it's easy to blend the foundation out. It's also very multifunctional and can be used to put on bronzer, blush, powder and so on.

This shampoo smells great and I really wanted to like it, but I don't... I've got color treated, long, thick hair and this shampoo makes my hair greasy and heavy. I've tried it several times, but it still doesn't work for me.

This conditioner smells great and feels really smooth. I really wanted to like it, but even thou it does detangle my color treated, long, thick hair, it also leaves it greasy and heavy. I really can't use this at all.

This is just fantastic! I've got pretty dry skin and in the winter time with the cold it gets even worse, but with this shower oil I manage to keep moist. The almond smell is good not too synthetic, it lathers up great and leaves the skin soft and silky smooth. To avoid fish skin I still use moisturizing after showering in the winter time, but in the summer time that isn't necessary. I definitely recommend it for dry skin types!

Lotions/ Creams -L'Occitane - Lavender Hand Cream
rated 4 of 5
tjolahei 1/25/2011 1:46:00 PM

This is a light creme that I suppose only do the trick for people with less dry hands. The lavender smell is a little to strong in the begging, but it fades out nicely. I really like the fact that the creme gets absorbed so quickly and it hydrates my hands perfectly in the summer time, but in the winter time my hands get so dry that they start to crack and bleed, then I have to use a heavier creme, like L'Occitane Shea Butter hand creme.

Lotions/ Creams -L'Occitane - 20% Shea Butter Hand Cream
rated 4 of 5
tjolahei 1/25/2011 1:38:00 PM

This is my go to hand cream in the winter time. It can get pretty cold where I live and my hands get so dry that they start to crack and bleed. This winter I've used this cream every night and at least once a day and my hands have never been so soft. In spite of it being a very thick and greasy creme, it get absorbed very quickly. The only drawback for me is the too heavy smell. I like the smell of the lavender hand creme a lot better, but since that is a lighter creme it doesn't do anything for me in the winter time.
