i have this in the limited edition shade Smoky 15. this is the FINEST glitter i've ever come across. it's amazing. i suggest you try it out on your eyes bc it looks a million times better than just swatching it on your hand. the shade i have is multicolored glitters and there's not much pigment. after reading the reviews, i knew i wouldn't be getting much. but after purchasing it and seeing exactly how much they give you, it's probably not worth the 24 bucks. it's insane. but if they were to make this shade permanent, i would still probably repurchase bc that's how much i enjoy this product. unless i found a dupe. but i don't think mac has anything similar. mac's is not as fine though.
instantly after my first sniff of this fragrance, i fell in love with it. i'm kind of picky with perfumes. i can't seem to find many that i'm crazy about. essence is a clean, fresh scent. kind of soapy and powdery. the bottle is nice to look at, but you can't see how much you have left. recently, i've been using raid (ant-killing spray) and i remembered a reviewer mentioning that essence smells just like it. i compared them and there is a noticeable resemblance. that kind of killed it for me. i still really enjoy it though.
i don't like this as much as i thought i would. it's definitely a very nice color, especially when you swatch it, but most bronze brown shades i put into my crease ends up all looking very similar that i don't have the excitement of raving about it. but recently i've tried packing it on my lid and using a dark brown or antiqued in the crease and i like it a lot more that way. placing it on my lid, you can really see the color better. the pigment is of course, great. most mac eyeshadows are good, just a handful aren't.
i'm surprised there's not much reviews on this. it was continuously sold out at my sephora and ulta. this product is very fine glitter that does not feel gritty at all. the bobby dazzle is basic white glitter. the texture is sort of strange to me, not in a bad way though. it's not like the tradition powder eyeshadow, neither is it a cream. whatever it is, it goes on nice and smooth. there's still some fall outs though, but it doesn't bother me that much. the packaging is kinda cool since you squeeze the sides and the lid pops off.
this lipgloss is definitely one of my favorites. the pigmentation and texture is perfect. when i apply this, i would put on a sheer layer and blot once. it's a bit too dark for me to wear on a casual day. i'm an nc30-35. it smells kind of like plastic, but i personally don't mind at all. the packaging is nice. i also own the lipstick which is much more sheer and wearable.
it's hard for me to find a lipstick that i like. i've tried mac's lustre lipsticks and they still seem to enhance the dryness of my lips and they're too opaque for me. the nars dolce vita is very sheer and gives just enough color for me. my lips but better. great for everyday wear. it's moisturizing and i sort of like the scent, even though it's kind of weird and spicy smelling. the packaging is nice and sleek, just as all of their other products. it seems to be a lot smaller too. the price is pretty expensive for the amount you get. but i would still repurchase bc it takes me forever to finish up an entire lip product.
this is definitely one of my favorite shadows. it's sort of a unique color, reminds me of mermaids and those shells on the beach. it's described as a brown with green and red reflects. i didn't think i'd like this as much as as i do because it seems to be cool toned and i'm more into warm bronzey browns. the pigmentation is great and very smooth. i like to use it in my crease heavily and then blended out upwards using the remains. the light fade that it gives is a very nice warm shade.
this is one of the best mac matte eyeshadows. i find that some of mac's matte shadows are chalky and not as smooth. the quality and pigmentation is perfect in this one. it's a warm reddish, orange brown. i like to use it in my crease and darken the outer C with a dark brown or black.
this nail polish turned out a lot better than i expected. i've never painted my nails a gold shade, so i wasn't too sure if i was going to like it on me. i'm an nc 30-35 and it looks great on my skin tone. the one thing that i always judge a nail polish on is how easy it is to apply. the glitzerland's consistency is perfect. it's super easy and takes 2 coats to become opaque, maybe even one if you make it a bit thick. i can't stop staring at my nails, it's a shimmery pale gold. reminds me of christmas.
if i had the money, i would definitely buy this product. i received a sample from sephora and have been using it for more than a week everyday. i only applied a generous drop to each cheek at night and i found that my dry cheeks are nice and moisturized more than ever. face moisturizers never seem to do the trick but this balancing oil improved my skin texture. i didn't notice other improvements to my skin. i still had my usual acne scars and such. the scent reminds me of nature. some may not like it i imagne, but i think it's okay. this is my first time using an oil on my face so i'm not sure if there's a comparable cheaper product that you can get instead of this. this didn't break me out.
i've had this for a while now and at first i was really in love with it, but after time i found myself to not reach for it much. the only color that i use daily is the black one. the quality of these shadows are really nice and pigmented. they are all smooth and buttery except for the brown shade. it's quite harder than the others and not as easy to blend. the blue shade is pigmented when you swatch it but when you put it on your eyes, it's sheerer than what you see in the pan. i also like the purple shade, but that's about it for me. i imagine other people will find a lot of use out of these shades besides the green and blue, but for me, i'm not really fond of the eyeshadow shades for some reason. i like the packaging. it's cardboard closed by magnets.
this is an okay lip gloss. nothing special about the color. i expected it to look like a champagne nude on my lips, but my lips still look pink from my natural lip pigmentation with just a slight goldish champagne sheen. i like the packaging though, with the nice click pen. i own 8 others of these stila lip glazes and the others have good pigmentation.
this is one of my favorite eyeshadow palettes. i love the packaging and the eyeshadow shades. it also comes with a mini sin primer potion, which does help bring out the intensity of the colors and helps me blend, but it doesn't stop the creasing of my eyeshadow. and the 24/7 bourbon eyeliner is also very nice. i normally wear black liner, but this brown liner would come in handy on days that i want a more natural look. so the eyeshadow shades are: flash(matte purple), maui wowie(shimmery, glittery, sandy gold, chopper(shimmery, glittery, peach), and smog(shimmery, bronze brown). the pigmentation of these are GREAT! smooth and blendable i love maui wowie all over the lid, it's definitely one of my favorite eyeshadows. the biggest problem i have with this product is the glitter fall out! i'll have random glitters scattered on my cheeks.
this lip gloss is one of my top favorites. at first when you look at it in the tube, it looks like an unflattering brown. but when it goes on your lips, it's more of a sheer red. it's shiny, a bit more on the sticky side, but not too sticky (for me at least). i can't really describe the smell, but maybe like a minty chocolate scent. i'm not sure. but i have the mini one that came in a pack and i found that the mini ones have a different scent and shade compared to the original sized ones. for the packaging, people have complained that they couldn't control how much product comes out after clicking it. but i found that as you're clicking it, you will feel it get tighter and after it feels tight, stop and wait for the product to ooze out. overall, i will definitely be repurchasing this in the full sized tube because the shade looks great on my nc30 skintone.
so i bought this a while back because of all the hype about it. 25 bucks. i use very little of this using a kabuki brush to buff it into my skin. i find that if i use a lot, it looks cakey and powdery. i have the shade in golden medium and the more coverage i try to build, the darker the shade gets. it does give me a bit of a glow because of the shimmer. in a couple of hours after application, i find that my nose is oily and the foundation oxidizes a bit, which i kind of expect from a foundation anyways. my highest complaint is of the packaging. it's extremely messy! if i try to tap a little of the product into the cap, everything spills and i waste a bunch of product. so what i normally do is just flip the container upside down so that some of the product sticks to the cap. but when i open the cap, a pouf of powder floats out. this foundation gives me a pretty natural finish, if i use minimum amount of product. i don't like using this as a concealer, it looks powdery and not my shade match.
