Scrubs -Trader Joe's - Purify Tangerine Sugar Scrub

I didn't like this scrub AT ALL. I admit that for the most part, I really prefer emulsified scrubs. I hate scrubs that separate and this one does. It's hard to scoop out of the jar without making a complete mess. I also found that using it wasn't a particularly sensual experience. It didn't feel good while I was using it and it didn't do much for my skin. I also found a slight medicinal note to the fragrance. I think with this product, you get exactly what you pay for and that is not much at all.

I honestly don't recall when I purchased this but when I found the bottle I decided to use it. I didn't really care whether it was "toning" or not as my skin is pretty well toned to start with. I was really just looking for a good body cream to use when I ran out of my usual stuff. I can't say I'm delighted with this stuff. My main complaint is that it just refuses to sink in. I used it after showering. My skin was nice and warm and just slightly moist and it still just sort of sat on top of my skin. It isn't as if I used a huge amount either. I massaged and massaged. I still had a white film on my skin. Eventually it disappeared, but I don't have a huge amount when I shower in the am and waiting around for this stuff to absorb is enough to take it off my list of things to use.

I've been thinking about posting a review of this stuff and then I saw yours and figured I'd jump in. I very rarely buy b&b stuff at walmart's but when I came across this, the combination of the ingredients and the great fresh lemon smell sold me. Whether the actives work as one might expect is yet to be seen, but even if this is nothing more than a great smelling body lotion, I'll be quite satisfied.

I purchased this for my hubbie's sister after reading all the great reviews here. Just goes to show you that not everything works for everyone. She thought it was AWFUL and I have to agree with. I also think this company should pay a little more attention to its packaging.

Very rare that I find a drugstore brand that I fall in love with but this stuff rocks. I've got one on my bathroom counter, one in my purse, one in my gym bag and one in my bathroom at work. Nice when you can do that without maxing out your cc eh..

I really wanted to like this product but I did not. I find that it had an odd odor that seemed to come through over the added fragrance. I also found it to be drying.
