I have mild to moderate acne, mostly clogged pores. I ventured into my local Aveda store looking to try their Outer Peace line and I started with a sample size of the foaming cleanser, which I liked since it didn't dry out my sking or aggravate my acne; however, I still needed something to clear my skin. Back I went to Aveda and I asked the salesgirl if she could recommend a product for me and she told me that the Acne Relief pads wer every popular and they would work for me. I used this once a day (at night) for one week, my pores remained clogged and the only difference I was was increased redness and itchy cheeks.
Nice coral shade on me, not garish, perfect for everyday. I like the doefoot applicator and the scent, it is not sticky. There is just one thing that keeps me from repurchasing from this line: I have to dip the applicator at least 4 or 5 times in order to get enough gloss to cover my lips, it gets frustrating after a while.
I tried the entire Outer Peace line and this is the only product out of the entire line that I liked. It didn't dry out my skin and I liked the fact that it came in a pump. I use this only in the morning since I like a richer face wash at night. I will not repurchase since I have since switched to Clinique.
I found this when I went to my local Aveda store to return the a skincare product that did not work for me. I didn't know what else to get with the store credit so I just picked this up on a whim. I have fine, frizzy hair that is a mix of straight on top, wavy on the back and curly around the nape of my neck, which means that I need to resort to blowdrying and straight ironing almost on a daily basis. I have spent a small fortune trying to find a product that I can put on my hair and will make my hair look decent without having to style it for 45 minutes. This product IS IT! I can now wash and condition my hair as usual, rub a dime size amount from roots to end, and just scrunch it up a bit. I do not blowdry, I let it air dry. Result? My hair is left wavy all over, still curlier around the nape of my neck, but now it all blends in. No frizz, no flaking, no stiffness. I thought I was done with Aveda but now I know I will return for this one product only.
Eyes -Ardell - Brow & Lash Growth Accelerator Treatment Gel

I had read the amazing reviews for this product so needless to say I was super excited to find this.I think I paid $8 CAD for this, I used it religiously for about 3 weeks on my lashes and brows and honestly, I could not see a difference. It's sitting in one of my makeup drawers and will probably end up in the garbage soon. At least it wasn't too expensive.
Good quality considering the price. I have the Carbon single, which I got for about $5 when I didn't feel like paying $18.50 for a black MAC shadow, the single pans fit into the MAC palettes so another plus. I also have two of the trios, the Haute Chocolate and the Creme Caramel, the latter being my favorite because it is warmer.
Styling Products -Alberto Vo5 - rework Fibre Putty

DH has been using this product for the past 5 or 6 years, it is the ONLY thing he puts on his hair. I think this putty is really not meant for being "reworked" though, Dh's hair is thick and wavy and the putty makes his hair flatter and somewhat sticky to the touch. No flakies, no stiffness.
