rated 1 of 5

This review is for the Color Support Conditioner for brown hair. This conditioner is so bad, leaving my hair so coated and dull, that I won't even pawn it off on my friend's. I now use it on my dog instead (strangely it leave her coat really soft!)

Palettes -Cargo - Holiday Palette
rated 5 of 5

I've been reading alot about the Cargo Holiday Tin, so I broke down and ordered one from luxbeauty.com. I'm so happy that I did! #1: I love the Tahiti lipstick. I usually wear sheer lipsticks (MAC Desire, Cargo Cece), so this slightly-rusty sheer shade breaks up my rut. #2 The Bikini lipstick is the perfect pewter frosty shade to perk up my other lipsticks when I go out. #3 Figi eyeshadow works really well for that smokey eye look I am addicted to. #4 The waikiki lipgloss looks so beautiful in the tin, I don't want to touch it! Great for a neutral mouth with high shine. My only complaint is that I wish these weren't limited edition colors.

Shampoo -Terax - Bosco Shampoo
rated 4 of 5

I'm a big fan of Terax, as you might be able to tell from my other reviews, and recently I decided to buy the Terax Bosco Shampoo for oilier hair. I was my hair every two days, and believe me, by the the second day my hair is lookin' pretty greasy. Most shampoos don't get my hair feeling clean. Bosco is an exception. My hair feels clean, light and swingy. It's a keeper. (If I washed my hair every day, though, it might be too drying.) It has a strong mint scent. I shop for Terax at luxbeauty.com because it's such a better price there.

Cleansers -Peter Thomas Roth - Chamomile Cleansing Lotion
rated 5 of 5
timkenwest 11/13/2001 6:41:00 PM

This is my favourite cleanser of all time. I thought it would never be strong enough to keep my freaky-out skin in control. Instead, my skin is soft and clear (though I do have to using a few treatment products once in a while to control some blemishes.) Non-drying, gets the gunk out, and a bottle lasts forever, so it's not so bad spending the money. You can find PTR skin care at sephora.com and luxbeauty.com

Hair Color -L'Oreal - Feria Haircolor
rated 3 of 5
timkenwest 11/13/2001 6:34:00 PM

I colour my friends' hair all the time using Feria and we all love the results. I wanted subtle blond highlights for my natural brown hair. I chose "shimmering amber" for the lovely blondy-brown photo on the box, and let me tell ya, the results were nothing like it! My hair was orange! Beware: if you have red "undertones" to your brown hair, feria brings these out in a major way. I solved the prob using 2 l'oreal preference ashy shades. Feria doesn't work for what I want, but it workes GREAT on my friends. Moral: suck it up and do the strand test.

Shampoo -Terax - Latte Shampoo
rated 5 of 5
timkenwest 11/13/2001 6:24:00 PM

I use terax latte about once a week to get the hard-water gunk out of my hair, and to get my fix for its amazing vanilla coffee scent. Even if I hated the results, i would probably keep using the shampoo just for its smell. This shampoo lives up to its name of "silk effects", but can be a bit harsh if used every day. You can find terax at sephora.com and luxbeauty.com

Hair -Terax - Life Drops
rated 5 of 5
timkenwest 11/13/2001 6:17:00 PM

All people who regularly blow dry their hair need to use Terax Life Drops. If I go for a few days without using them, I instantly notice that my hair is much more dry and rough. I just take a nickel size amound and rub it through the ends of my hair before blow-drying. My hair remains soft, shiny and free of split ends. You can buy Terax on-line at sephora.com and luxbeauty.com
