Concealers -Chanel - Correcteur Perfection Long Lasting Concealer

Let me just start off with a brief background of my skin; I have very oily skin, but rather dry undereye circles. I have horrible PERMANENT dark blue/purple undereye circles on my tan NC44 skin that appears as a hideous brown color. On nights when I don't get enough sleep (which is all too often), I wake up looking like someone punched me. =( This concealer is amazing in the fact that its so creamy and doesn't accentuate the dryness surrounding my undereye area. This also doesn't crease on me which is just amazing as the texture is a bit...thick. The coverage is light/med and can be built up GRADUALLY to a nice medium coverage. I should let you know that I do wear this over a very thin layer of BBs corrector in dark bisque underneath and it eliminates practically ALL discoloration(s) i have. <3 I also do use this product on my hyper-pigmentated acne scars as well and find the lasting power is superb (even on my oil slick face) and natural looking. I am NC44 and wear shade 30. It is a LITTLE bit too light for me but once on my skin, it oxides just enough to match perfectly. As far as price and packaging go, we all know Chanel products cost $$$. I paid $40USD for 0.75g/0.23oz which isn't bad as I'm sure this will last me well over 6 months. As far as packaging, this is where i took off one lippie. I'm not crazy about it. its very simple; I guess i'm just so accustomed to the sleek packaging of the Chanel products. I do however, like the doe foot applicator. makes applying concealer a cinch. I will definitely be repurchasing as soon as i run out. =)
Pros: long wearing and good coverage for a light foundation. Cons: Inconvenient packaging, HORRENDOUS smell, no oil control properties, and it broke me out after a week of wearing. will not be repurchasing.
I really wanted to like this product since everyone raves about this color. The pigmentation really sucks on this color, even with an eyeshadow base. This is going to be returning to the store.
This was an impulse buy at Target a few weeks ago. I had quite a few active breakouts at that moment so I purchased this and used it day and night in addition to may 5% BP spot treatment. After a few days I noticed a reduction in breakout size so I stopped the BP and stuck with this serum. i have been using this religiously day and night for two weeks on its own and my skin has not only cleared up wonderfully, but it is also smooth and supple. This product is truly amazing & a total steal at only $8. I highly recommend everyone try it.
I just got this in a swap and it works AMAZINGLY to brighten up my under eye circles! i've been wearing it for 8 hrs and counting now, and it still looks FABULOUS! LOVE LOVE LOVE! Will def purchase when I run out. =)
I LOVEE these! They are so versatile. I can do chignons and quick twists! I also create very loose and pretty waves with these pins! I lsection my damp hair in two, twist up two "princess leiya" buns, secure each side with a spin pin and go to sleep. in the morning I release the pins and voila gorgeous wavy hair!

did this product cover up my huge pores? A little bit. Did it help my foundation stay on all day? Definitely. Did it keep shine at bay? not really. Did it BREAK OUT ME OUT WITH NUMEROUS RED CYSTIC PIMPLES ALL OVER MY CHEEKS?? YES it definitely did. will I be repurchasing? NO. oh, and the packaging sucks.
Primer/ Corrector -Urban Decay - Complexion Primer Potion - Pore Perfecting

for a $30 product, I was not impressed. It didn't cover my pores and made my face even oilier than usual. will not be repurchasing.
I have always used cheapy eyelash curlers since I thought they were all the same. Since my switch from the revlon curler to my MAC full lash curler, i have fell in love with my lashes! The curl or crimp (as I like the long crimpy look) really lasts me all day with just two curls per lash! doesn't even pinch my lashes! The curler does come with a spare pad, but MAC doesn't sell individual packs. =( I will def. repurchase!
This is a really good everyday mascara for me. It stays on all day, doesn't smudge, or smear. I also like the intensity of the black as well since i have really light colored eyelashes. it also doesn't clump my lashes like the maybelline falsies mascara does which is a great bonus. Although, for a mascara called "false lashes," it doesn't really deliver as promised with one coat. To achieve a false lash appeal, I have to apply at least 5 coats in addition to alot of lash curling. The packaging is very cute though. Will repurchase.
Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)

Love it! It really keeps my eyeshadows and liner from creasy off my oily lids! It goes on kinda liquid-y so make sure to blend it in (with clean fingers) until the product feels dry and a little bit tacky. Then, let it settle into the skin for about 30 secs and you're ready to apply the shadow! The payoff is truly amazing! I have the most oilliest lids and my shadows usually crease within 3 hrs of application, but with this it will stay on all day, even after a long night of dancing! My only quarrel is the packaging. I don't like the swiper and the fact that I can't see how much product is in the tube! All in all, I will be repurchasing!

I got a sample from the SA at the MAC store to try out since i'm pretty sketchy about trying new face products. Good thing I asked for a sample first too because this primer makes me break out! Within 3 days of usage, I started breakout around my cheeks nose and forehead. (where I applied the primer) It also did not cover my huge oil glands I call pores on my nose. I did like the packaging though, very easy to use. I will not be purchasing this.
I just got this color and OMG I AM IN LOVE! Technically, its a powder blush, but who the heck would want crazy hot pink cheeks? Ah, to each their own I guess. Anywho, I use it as an eyeshadow and its totally gorg. I bought sushi flower from mac and i was very disappointed by the lack of pigmentation. This MUFE hot pink color is extremely pigmented so make sure to blend away! its also a matte color which i LOVE because no one wants glittery hot pink lids! Totally worth my $19USD! This is literally the HG of hot pink colors!
I've actually had this powder for a very long now and have just recently started using it again. I only use this as a setting powder on my eyelids after shadow and occasionally on my cheekbones when they need some sparkle. I don't wear it anywhere else on my face since its just way too shimmery. I use this REALLY SPARINGLY cause I don't wanna look like i got into a fight with a disco ball. It really sets my eye shadow and keeps it from creasing though, so I will be repurchasing if it hasn't yet been discontinued.
Styling Products -Kerastase - Nutritive Oleo-Relax Anti-Frizz & Anti-Humidity Spray
tiinnhh 4/15/2011 12:41:00 AM
I bought the Kerastase oleo-relax anti-frizz anti-humidity spray and its horrible I hate it. I'm just gonna do a pros and cons for you guys to decide if the product is for you on your own. PROS: Is resilient from frizz. Free of silicon, so it won't weight your hair down. Adds shine (not the good kind of shine though) Thats pretty much it for my pros. CONS: EXPENSIVE at $45USD for 3.4fl oz. Smells DISGUSTING Makes hair look oily (I have really long hair. I only used three pumps of spray and my hair STILL looked like a ball of grease) Makes hair FEEL GREASY Poor packaging. (The liquids inside the spray is starting to leak out the bottle, and the label is peelling off.) You would think with such a steep price of almost $50USD this product would feel like silk on your hair and not grease. Although to be fair, the product only said that it would protect against frizz and humidity, (which it does) and nothing more. I guess its just too much to expect of a hair product to be multi-functional. Sigh. Regardless to say, I will not be purchasing this product ever again.
