Cleansers -IS Clinical - Cleansing Complex

I was expecting this to be a HG cleanser, it just didn't live up to it's better siblings (The IS serums). First, it barely foams (I know that cleansers don't necessarily foam in order to work), so I didn't think it was going to do much, but I figured that it had to be good, since the reviews are so fantastic. After I dried my face, I didn't feel clean and my pores were just as clogged as before. I used it for a week and my breakouts got worse. The only thing I had changed was the cleanser. Second, it's expensive, considering you have to use a lot of the product to feel clean. All in all: There are a lot better cleansers for less money.

Powerful stuff! My skin is combo/sensitive that suffers from clogged pores and is starting to get fine lines. I needed something that would exfoliate without making my skin look worse. It took about three weeks of slight adjusting, but now my skin looks pretty darn great. Alternating this with the Super serum advance + has given me the best skin I've had since... ever :) Try it and see. I think you'll be very happy. Oh: I don't always use this every night. Depending on how my skin feels, I sometimes skip a night and use the super serum instead.

Treatments -IS Clinical - Super Serum Advance

By far the best vitamin c serum I've ever used. After about a week, my skin began dramatically improving. I've been using it for a month now, and my skin is amazing. Bright, clear and firm. My forehead lines have reduced by quite a bit. The only thing I don't like is the packaging. I wish it came in an opaque, airless pump bottle so the product would last longer. I know that the combination of this and the Active serum (alternating, of course) is what's responsible for my new great skin. Also, the keys island rx foaming face wash has contributed (don't waste your money on the IS Clinical Cleansing Complex). Hope this helps!

Amazing stuff. I purchased this because the EWG reviewed it as having no nasty harsh chemical ingredients. I must say that I'm floored. I loved it from the first time I used it. My skin felt firm and sooooo CLEAN without being stripped. It's this wash, in combination with my is clinical products, that are keeping my skin clear and flawless. If you have combo/sensitive skin, you'll love this stuff. HG!

Cleansers -Unlisted Brand - Plank CORS Silver Soap
tiger21 11/2/2007 1:23:00 PM
Great product. I've been using it for about 2 months and my skin has never looked better. It cleans my face better than anything I've ever used. My skin's not perfect, but it's 10 times better than it was two months ago before I started using this soap. One caution: Don't let it sit on your neck because it'll dry it out and possibly cause a rash! This stuff is STRONG, so use with caution. If you have acne, this stuff will work wonders. Oh, FYI: Cyclic Nano Cleanser and Cor are TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PRODUCTS. Cyclic is crap. I bought one of the pink and one of the silver bars and they're complete crap. DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY. In this situation, you get what you pay for. I'd advise not getting the cor soap in the full size; Just buy a bunch of travel soaps (a lot easier to travel). Edit: This stopped working and actually made my breakouts worse.

Yes, this line is EXPENSIVE! For the most part, it also happens to be worth it. Using only great, chirally correct ingredients, you'll have the best skin. I've purchased the X-Trap Cleanser, Sir-Active Scrub and The Weapon 10% Vitamin C serum. My skin gets better and better. I also purchased some products from another Chirally correct skin line and those are wonderful as well. I may actually have nice skin one of these days... Edit: While this stuff is pretty good, there are far better products that'll give you much better results. Try is clinical.

If you have breakouts, checkout this line! I break out from time to time, and recently my whole forehead broke out big time. I didn't want to leave the house I was so embarrassed. Then I discovered this line. The technology sounded right and the ingredients are top notch, so I tried it. I'm so glad I did. My skin's almost clear now and it looks better than it has in a LONG time! It doesn't dry out my skin, but it heals old blemishes and prevents new ones. This line is the best. EDIT: This product stopped working completely after a month. Luckily, I have found something that actually works!

Sunscreen -DDF - Matte Finish Sunscreen SPF30
tiger21 7/11/2007 7:35:00 PM
Not the worst sunscreen, not the best. It feels nice, but if you look on the label, it has high concentrations of pore-clogging ingredients. I broke out while using it...

Treatments -DDF - Benzoyl Peroxide Gel 5% with Tea Tree Oil

Worked at first: It didn't irritate my skin much and it helped with blemished. After about a month, I broke out and this did nothing.

Skincare - Face -DDF - Glycolic 10% Exfoliating Oil Control Gel

I used two bottles of this stuff. At first, it stung. Then, it worked a little bit. I had my skin under control for about two weeks. Then this stopped working, but continued to sting. It ended up being as bad as the Peter Thomas Roth AHA/BHA gel, which was BAD!

Didn't do a thing for my very mild acne. I felt clean, I guess, but it just didn't help me at all.

Toners -DDF - Glycolic Toner 10%
tiger21 7/11/2007 7:23:00 PM
I love DDF's packaging, but this product sucks! I used a bottle of it and my conclusion is that it's irritating and drying. It does everything it shouldn't: Stings/irritates, dries out, causes MORE oil production instead of lessening it, makes the skin turn red, the list goes on... A wonderfully damaging toner.

Irritated the heck out of my skin! Also, it didn't help my acne at all. It just made me more red and itchy! Stay away!

Worked at clearing up my forehead for about a week, then it stopped working. It dried out my skin AND my skin broke out! Irritating ingredients+unnecessary preservatives=PTR

Scrubs -Peter Thomas Roth - Botanical Buffing Beads
tiger21 7/11/2007 7:15:00 PM
This scrub SOUNDS good, but it's ingredients just aren't. Artificial fragrances, unnecessary preservatives, artificial colors. I bought this to clear up my blackheads: It did nothing of the sort. I also broke out after using it. Another looser from PTR...
