I am afraid of dark colors, but this was too beautiful to pass up. It is a deep and shimmery blackberry/wine shade. I tried it on and sheered it out (put just a teeny bit on my lower lip and spread it around) so it looks like I just bit a berry. It makes for a pretty wine shade that is not too intense. Absolutely gorgeous (and smells good too)! Don't be afraid of how dark it looks in the tube :)
I am a nail polish freak, and I LOVE this stuff! I have the Diamond, Amber Ruby, and Purple Diamond. The Amber Ruby flashes gold, green, and ruby in the light as you move your hands, but my favorite is the Diamond. I'm not a fan of pale colors, but this is gorgeous! In the house, the shimmer rainbow effect is nice, but out in the sunlight, it is AMAZING! Even the boyfriend thought so :) It really does look like your nails are rainbows. This is a great shade to layer over stronger colors whenever you want the rainbow effect. The Purple Diamond has the same effect, and it's a pretty lilac shade. Plus, this really lasts! I will be getting the Rose Diamond next..............

Smells yummy! I don't like the bottle though, so I transferred some into a spray bottle....much better! Great stuff, I use it just on the ends, makes my hair shiny and soft. I'll buy it again.....soon!
Eye Shadow -Stila - Bohemian Trios - Café, Sage, Bronze

I have the Sage and the Bronze trios and they are beautiful! I just received the Sage today, and it's gorgeous with my brown eyes. I used all three greens (shimmery pale green on browbone, wash of the medium shimmery green all over, and the deep green used wet along the lash lines) and I think it's an earthy alternative to browns this fall :) They have the most wonderful, velvety texture, intense pigment, and the perfect amount of shimmer. Now for the Bronze....the golden shade is vibrant! Of course, the other 2 shades are equally stunning. I can't say enough... Gotta get the Cafe now! Collect them all LOL!
Great stuff! I have Cargo's Lipgloss too, and this is VERY similar! I have Oh My Gloss, a shimmery violet, and a shimmery peachy pink. These are wonderfully pigmented for glosses, and have a great smooth texture. You also get a good amount of gloss. This will last a while! I think I'll "collect them all" :)
Although the bottle is TEENY tiny, it is so cute and different. I love the idea. I have Tempt, which looks like a plummy/berry/aubergine shade, but goes on nice and sheer. It also tingles a little bit after I apply it. It's also very moisturizing. Love this!
Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Roller Color loose powder eyeshadow
tiffbenzine 8/5/2002 5:30:00 PM
Well, great idea, a lipgloss like dispenser with a roller ball that dispenses shadow instead, but the color dispenses from the roller ball quite unevenly, and I had to blend with my finger afterwards. The container should be longer, sleeker (more pen like), with a smaller ball tip and maybe we'd have a winner. The color is pretty though, Skate Til Midnight, a shimmery royal blue, and it was cheap, so I'll keep it, but I wouldn't purchase another one.
LOVE this stuff! Had to try it after reading about it in all those mags.....I think the color is absolutely gorgeous, I love the subtle shimmer and the natural flush it creates. And I love the packaging.....so different from cheesy cheap plastic, I think it's great, but it does get makeup smudges on it very easily. And who needs a brush with it??? I just use my fingers, the best applicators out there! I also like to swipe this on my browbone, a little in the center of my lips....It's pricey though! Good thing it'll last a while :)
I LOVE my new Artist Palette! 5 creamy colors for eyes. lips or cheeks, and a clear gloss too! The colors are mixable, and you can make them more sheer by adding the gloss. This isn't the easiest to apply if you're in a hurry, but if you have somewhere special to go, this is well worth the extra time!! The packaging is classic Chanel, simple elegant black tin, 2 cute little brushes, and even a mixing well. But the drawback is price. $65.00!!! Needless to say, I'll be using mine very sparingly....but I'd buy another kit in a heartbeat!
I think these are really the BEST textured eyeshadows out there, and I've tried MAC, Philosophy, Nars....I love them all, but I think that Stila's are the most intense when it comes to pigment. A little really goes a long way! My favorite Quad is the Lotus Infusion.....absolutely gorgeous and what rich colors!! And I love the packaging! The cardboard packaging is so different......very innovative! But, I have to say that this stuff is toooo expensive!! Gotta rely on Ebay or swapping in order to get them!
