a gentleman at sephora recommended that i try this to combat the redness on my face (caused mainly by inflammation and some broken capillaries perhaps the beginnings of rosacea - my mom has it). i was skeptical- but my friend came with me and told me she would let me pick out some things for christmas. i tried it on my cheeks for a few days- and the results are incredible. i am very cynical about products but this is the real deal. i apply it once in the morning- and my redness stays calm all day. i will definitely buy this again. this product is not even advertised as an anti-redness product but it should be! i really like the packaging also...

LOVE THIS LINER! the color is awesome- i have green eyes- and it still looks good on me- it really makes the eye color pop- plus it's a fun color and lasts a long time. i only wish it didnt run out so quickly... otherwise it's cheap and awesome!

uh... no thanks. it did not really cleanse my face- and did nothing to calm down my skin... i like the pump on the bottle but thats about the only thing i liked.

i got this in a swap- i could not be happier with it- it smells and tastes great (my boyfriend keeps requesting it haha). the shine isnt overbearing- i really like this stuff!

i love the way it looks on the outside- but i am not a fan of the "punch your own holes in the plastic" deal.... my mom uses this stuff- and i had been stealing hers since i was 12- i recently decided to buy it again (i am 25) and i like this stuff better than most department store brand powders. the only downside is it leaves a slightly powdery look to my makeup (its a powder but i dont want it to LOOK powdery on me!) so i am sticking to bare minerals sheer powder- but for the price this would be my number 2 for powder.

Foundations -Almay - TLC Truly Lasting Color

the color matched my skin- but i look dead when i wear this stuff (i have lighter olive skin) the foundation itself has good coverage without looking caked on- but it does not last like it promises (perhaps it would for someone in a dry climate- or without oily skin) i love the foundation pump- but the smell of it was a bit icky. i would not buy this again.

Liquid -NARS - Oilfree foundation

i got this in barcelona- i like the undertones to this (not so pinky and most foundations make me look dead) this really compliments my olive skin tone. i set it with bare minerals sheer powder- and it lasts for a pretty long time. the one and only bad thing is the packaging- the bottle top is so small- and i use a foundation brush not a sponge..... if nars had a pump top i would be stoked but nope :(

holy cow! i tried this once and i am in love. at first it seemed so odd to have coverage from a moisturizer- i put it on with my foundation brush and i could not have been happier. the crazy part is- it acts like a moisturizer- but absorbs any oiliness from the heat/humidity etc... which is awesome for texas weather. it was humid and 85 here yesterday- and my face actually looked better 4 hours later than it did when i first put it on... i am definitely excited about this stuff!!! (i am not a "makeup" foundation kindof person so this stuff is amazing to me) p.s. i put bare minerals sheer powder on top just to "set" my face. <3 this tinted moisturizer! UPDATE 4/15/08- still loving this moisturizer!!!! it is my HG

Conditioner -Paul Mitchell - Invigorating tea tree conditioner

i have flaky, itchy scalp but my hair gets oily easily- so i rarely put conditioner on my scalp or near it- and i have trouble finding a conditioner that wont weigh my hair down or make it really oily- this one is very good and lightweight- washes out easily-------- -my hair feels clarified and light - i like the texture of it too- definitely my fav s&c

Shampoo -Paul Mitchell - Tea Tree line

i have flaky, itchy scalp but my hair gets oily easily- i was using head and shoulders and my stylist recommended the paul mitchell tea tree oil s&c to get rid of the buildup in my hair (the head and shoulders left my hair sticky at the scalp but solved the itchiness/flakiness) -------- PROS: -tingling scalp really helps wake me up in the morning - tingling sensation feels awesome and feels like its cleaning my hair out -my hair feels clarified and light - stopped all itchiness/flakiness ---------- CONS: -the smell is a bit overwhelming (peppermint) ----------------- i would definitely recommend this line of s&c.... i almost want to call it my HG

bought this yesterday- put it on last night and woke up this morning to a slightly less red face with a more even skin texture (i think the texture of my skin is the worst aspect of my skin so this makes me happy). so far, so good!!!! i am not a fan of the price though. my only issue was i woke up with a shiny forehead- no breakouts though. i'll update after a few days :) UPDATE 4/15/08- been using for a couple of weeks- the redness has calmed down. i am afraid to use any other products for fear of a regression. i have started using it only once a day though..

so far, so good-- i like the fact that this doesnt lather or foam up- it is similar to cetaphil in texture- but does not dry me out or worsen my redness. ill update later to give my progress- so far i really like this stuff. i am thinking about trying the skin effects redness treatment... UPDATE: i still love this cleanser- it makes my pores smaller and the redness is toned down almost immediately. I LOVE THIS STUFF! (anyone tried the redness treatment gel??)

i just bought this- not that impressed with its ability to cleanse. my face doesnt feel clean- however it does not dry me out like most cleansers but still i think i need something a little more clarifying and less wimpy.

my boyfriend bought this for me because he loves the smell of it. it smells a bit powdery to me but otherwise i like it. it is not my go to fragrance but im fairly certain that anyone can wear it. the only complaint about the bottle- is i prefer ones with caps instead of just a button to spray it. plus i like being able to see how much i have left and on this i cant.

i made the mistake of a) not looking this up on MUA first and b) trusting the opinion of a sephora employee. on the box it says that it treats redness- and it was 85USD i think so how could it be bad?
i have sensitive combo skin- redness and acne prone in the t-zone....
uh... i put this on after cleansing- it immediately started burning my skin! after burning then it suddenly became very warm on my skin. no breakouts the next morning- so i may try it again today to see what happens but honestly i think it's getting returned this week. (im so tired of returning stuff to sephora im sure those girls hate me now)
