I love this product, however there is a cheaper alternative that is an exact DUPE for this product Milani make an inifinate liner which is black. Same idea, little tube with brush. Have to remove with oil based remover. Milani 5.99 CA MAC 22.00 CA so if you want the same product that is wayyy cheaper but the same results and quality get the Milani.

Eyeliner -Milani - Infinite Liquid Eye Liner
rated 5 of 5
thinkpink241 11/5/2012 8:52:00 PM

This is an EXACT dupe for the MAC liquid last liner in black. and I MEAN exactly the same because I have been using that MAC liner for months now. If you want something that will no joke stay on ALL day, this is it. I remove it with an oil based eye makeup remover and it comes off easily. It has to be an oil based though. Milani $ 5.99 MAC $ 22.00 plus you get triple the amount with Milani, for the exact same product with exact same results.

Treatments -LUSH - Serum- Full of Grace
rated 5 of 5
thinkpink241 1/8/2012 11:13:00 PM

I decided to give this a go one day when my skin was lacking radiance. I have very pale skin with some redness. Prone to hormonal breakouts and I also get pore clogging around my nose. I have combination/normal skin, but i do get oily in my T zone. Most of my breakouts or small bumps occur around my mouth. I decided to try this as I have noticed although I am only 21, i am starting to develop fine lines from dryness. I needed something that would not break me out. I find that this is a great mutipurpose serum. The girls at LUSH told me i could use it after toner in place of moisturizer for something more rich, i could use it under moisturizer for an extra boost, before a facemask (a lush facemask AMAZING), to help with extra absorption and as a bath melt. I have only used it for skincare purposes and no bath yet. I LOVE IT. I find it a bit expensive, but I have had it for a month and im about half way through. I warm it in my hands, and apply with my fingertips. Any leftover I use over my hands or places i get dry. I find that it has boosted my radiance and toned my skin quite well. I have switched to a full LUSH skincare regime and my skin has never looked better. Try it, its worth it!

Primer/ Corrector -Bare Escentuals - Prime Time
rated 5 of 5
thinkpink241 7/21/2011 4:37:00 PM

I have tried SO many primers... from cheap to ridiculously expensive. I finally have found one that is great, and its this one! People are saying it is comparible to the smashbox photo finish, i dont know what it is about smashbox but it makes my makeup slide right off. I disliked all makeup forever primers, and i was searching for one that would wear well under my makeup forever hd foundation in 110 (which is great btw). I recieved this primer in the BE starter kit (I use the powder foundation on days that i have little time). It is fantastic! 10/10!!!

Was not very impressed with this. I recieved a deluxe sample from sephora. Love the smell, love the packaging... found it made my face more oily.. and made my makeup come off faster. I still stick to bare essentials prime time.. the best i have used.

Cleansers -Boscia - MakeUp-BreakUp Cool Cleansing Oil
rated 5 of 5
thinkpink241 7/3/2011 11:19:00 PM

I got this as part of a 500 point perk from sephora a couple months ago... never really liked the idea of using an oil to cleanse my face... However I was out of my regular cleanser and too lazy to make a special trip downtown so i pulled this out. I squirted some into my hand... massaged over face and eyes... and rinsed. I was AMAZED. I did not feel oily, i did not feel dry, i had absolutely NO MAKEUP LEFT, anddddd... my skin was clean!!! This stuff takes off everything! AMAZING! LOVE IT! Will repurchase in full size once my deluxe sample runs out!

Scrubs -Soap and Glory - Flake Away Spa Body Polish
rated 3 of 5
thinkpink241 6/12/2011 8:14:00 PM

Beware, be prepared to clean your tub immediatly after use because the oils from this stuff adhere like bacon fat. Its a really nice scrub.. but i find it is extremely greasy after you get out of the shower... good for legs and arms, bad for the rest of you... i usually solve this by just wiping with a dry towel really well. I use this mainly before my fake tanning... it moisturizes the areas that need moisture and the scrub is nice. I think i will spend a bit more and go to the body shop and get one of their salt scrubs that dont feel so oily. ------------------------------ UPDATE: This stuff has left a grimey sticky film all over my bathtub... its SO hard to get off... will not repurchase.

Scrubs -LUSH - Ocean Salt
rated 5 of 5
thinkpink241 5/9/2011 10:25:00 PM

I have been looking for a great scrub for a long time. I have always felt that my St Ives Apricot scrub just doesnt do the job well enough and that i needed something a bit harsher... enter Ocean Salt. The girl did a demo on my hand in the store... and OH MY.. it was fantastic!!! I bought the smaller tub for 18.99 CAN. I found this to be a bit expensive, but if it could rival my 30$ scrub from sephora then i would be a happy camper. It smells like a lime margarita... and if you get some in your mouth its like vodka/salty flavor. I like it :D Very clean and refreshing. I thought it may dry out my skin but i was wrong. I went home, washed my face with my cleanser, scrubbed for 3 or so mins with Ocean Salt, moisturized, and my skin feels FANTASTIC!!!! I can see how this may be too harsh for sensitive skin like previous reviewers have mentioned. My skin was a bit red after use, it stung where i had a blemish, but the scrub does say it has an antiseptic effect so i am assuming that. Plus, I did scrub pretty hard because i wanted a good deep clean. LOVE LOVE LOVVVEEEEEEE

Foundations -Cover Girl - Natureluxe Liquid Silk Foundation
rated 5 of 5
thinkpink241 5/8/2011 8:16:00 PM

I have been using Makeup Forever HD foundation that runs about 46$ per bottle. I wanted to find something that was a comparable product for a lot cheaper (The days i dont feel like wearing expensive makeup). I have extremely fair skin... I am probably an NW 5 or less in MAC if it existed... I am a 110 in MUFE HD foundation. CG ivory is still to dark for me. I have pinky/blue undertones.. basically invisible skin haha The issue I have always had with drugstore foundation is that they never come in a light enough colour for me. Even Cover Girl the lightest colour is TOO DARK TOO ORANGE. I bought NatureLuxe in the lightest colour (Alabaster). It is a perfect match. In the bottle it doesnt look light enough, maybe even ashy.. but once it is blended in I LOVE ITTTT I found this to be comparable to the Laura Mercier silk creme foundation (55$ upwards). NatureLuxe covers every pore, and adds moisture which does not emphasize fine lines. While I am only 21 years old, i do have fine lines on my forehead from a sunburn i got a couple years back. The skin there is very dry. This foundation works MAGIC!!! The smell is a cucumber smell... not my favorite, it didnt need to be scented, but i figure if it sells well enough they will eventually come out with a sensitive skin version. Really impressed :) and it definitely compares to my 50$ foundations.. and most of the time, i choose it over those :)

Cleansers -Garnier - Moisture Rescue Fresh Cleansing Foam
rated 4 of 5
thinkpink241 5/6/2011 7:29:00 PM

I bought this cleanser maybe 6 months ago and like always, used it for a while, got bored and switched to something else. I am now back to using it. I really like this cleanser, a little goes a long way, it foams nicely, takes off makeup, and smells great. As well, you get a lot of product for your money. The squeezy tube is perfect to get the right amount out. It says it is 100% oil free, YAY! As well, there are no alcohols in it. HOWEVER, i did read in the ingredients list that it does contain a paraben (type of preservative). Not sure why this is in there... and i have to do some research as to why parabens are bad in skincare. I do really like this cleanser. If you are looking for something similar i found the neutrogena cream cleanser is pretty similar, as well i have used purity by philosophy (which contains no alcohols/parabens/bad stuff), but slightly more expensive.

Scrubs -St. Ives - Apricot Scrub Blemish and Blackhead Control
rated 5 of 5
thinkpink241 5/5/2011 11:50:00 PM

I really love this scrub. After switching back and forth between the original apricot scrub and this one, i really love this one more. I find it smells a lot better, it scrubs a lot better, and i can see an overall improvement in the blackheads on my face :) I used to use this 2x a day in my teenage years. But i am now 21 and i have noticed my skin becoming more dry to the areas where i have had sundamage from sunburns on my face. Usually products with acne treatment ingredients dry out those areas, this one does not. I have also used Eminence Organics pear and poppysead microfoliant which is AMAZING, but also 40 $ a jar.... too expensive for me, however that has got to be the best exfoliator i have ever used. SO, i will continue to use st ives until i decide to splurg again :)

Eyeliner -Maybelline - Line Stiletto liquid eyeliner
rated 5 of 5
thinkpink241 4/25/2011 10:51:00 PM

This liner is really easy to use and is very pigmented. Compared to Loreal carbon black.. this one is basically the same with the felt tip, but the liner itself is way darker and only takes one coat to be completely black. The felt tip never dries out, and is thin enough to make nice thin wings, as well, it is thick enough to create and build thicker lines. It stays on all day, never smears, never smudges... never had an issue with it flaking. Once its on, its on... and it doesnt come off until i use a makeup remover. I have repurchased over and over again!! LOVE LOVE LOVEE!!!!! (I do hope maybelline makes a pen liner as well.. since i find they give a slightly sharper look than a felt tip. I use the MAC penultimate liner if i want to use a pen liner, Maybelline Line Stiletto is my go to felt tip liner)

Eyeliner -MAC - Penultimate Eye Liner - Rapidblack
rated 5 of 5
thinkpink241 4/25/2011 10:35:00 PM

EDIT: TOTALLY DRIED OUT... WASTE OF MONEY. If you are looking at the above picture thinking the tip looks so tiny, i figured out that if you grab the tip with tweezers and pull it out a tiny but, you can make it a bit longer, which i did.. LOVE IT! Anyways, I really like this liner... never dries out, the tip always disperses product evenly, and you dont get that line down the center where the liner applies on the outer parts but the center there is no liquid. Very black, very pigmented. As I said above, I thought the tip was quite small,... and then i pulled on it a tiny bit and its now to my liking :) I would repurchase over and over

Cleansers -Philosophy - Purity Made Simple (Real Purity Cleanser)
rated 5 of 5
thinkpink241 4/20/2011 7:49:00 PM

This cleanser works really well, i feel clean and not dry after using it. I usually dont use it to take off my makeup... but i use it after my "pre cleanse" which i use an Olay wet cloth for. THEN i use purity. Although it is described as a cleansing milk, i find that it lathers really well into a nice foam/bubbly. You dont need to use too much either. I perfer the smell of this cleanser. To me it smells good. Really, it doesnt smell like anything, just clean. There is no perfumey smell, which i hate, so i am glad they did not add a fragrance in this because that is usually the culprit that dries me out. I also have some sun damage on my forehead and a couple lines (which i hate) there as well. Some cleansers i find dry this area out and exentuate these lines... this one does not. The packaging is ok, i would rather have a sqeezy tube or a pump on it... but i went to the dollar store and got a small pump for a dollar and screwed it onto the top, works like a charm. Would repurchase again. (I do not recommend the moisturizer in this line)
