I bought this foundation as an alternative to the Clinique brand I had been using. Searching in vain for a foundation that controlled my oily skin as well as the Clinique did, and this one does a worthy job. It spreads very easily for me, a little bit goes a ways. I wait a minute or so before applying powder and it seems to set fairly well. By the end of a regular makeup wearing day (10-12 hours) I am showing shine but this one goes the distance better than anything else I've tried.. It also doesn't seem to break out or streak/transfer as badly when I cry. (Yeah, it happens that often.) I'll keep buying it.
I've had a problem with persistent acne since I was 12. Black heads, white heads, and cystic acne have plagued me! I've given just about everything you can find in a drugstore a try to no avail. I finally turned to my doctor for help. One of the options we've since tried is Retin-A. A few notes from my experience: -I never experienced the painful burning, itching, redness that some users have had. -It barely put a dent in my skin's oil production. -After four months I was still breaking out steadily and gave up on this one. I really don't think I saw any true improvement or even a change in my skin through my course. =(
In search of an alternative to liquid eyeliner which I am incapable of applying properly - I picked up two of these pens. One in black, one in midnight. I was skeptical, but I had no real reason to be. Although the lines are so easy to apply they remind of pencils, they look more like liquid liner. Even more amazing (for me) is that I don't need to use a primer to keep this liner on like I do with my pencils! (Which saves my primer!) On the downside, I didn't get the cap all the way on my midnight colored pen at some point and it did dry out. My black one is still going strong though and I've had it for about 10 months (shhh). I'm just a lot more careful when replacing the cap. The black pen is pretty much a daily staple for me, even if I'm wearing zero other make up. I love them so much that I ordered one more in every color (black too of course). LOVE THIS PEN!!!
Would I buy this for me again? No. Would I buy it for my husband? Yes. I bought this one online too, thinking it might be an all-season item similar to Snowcake. Not even close. I laid this one aside to section off and swap/give away... When my husband sniffed it. "Wow. what's this???" He was excited. Which amazed me because until this point we had searched in vain for any LUSH product he was sold on. He loves it, saying it reminds him of Big Red gum. With a strong, cinnamon scent and a slightly scrubby feel. He was visibly disturbed to find they were discontinuing this one, and quickly bought another piece to save.
Like others, I ordered this one online based on the description. I rarely go by LUSH reviews (funny, huh?) because let's face it, we all have different noses and perceive scents in a different way! This was the most offensive product I have ever purchased from LUSH. The scent made me want to gag. I promptly stored it away from my other soaps and waited on someone who likes it to speak up. Eventually I gave it all away to people who either hadn't tried it yet and wanted to, or those who did like it. (Few and far between.) It gives off a pungent scent of plastic that I can't even begin to accurately describe. Not what I would consider a "natural" scent.
Few LUSH products have made me gag like Ginger. The scent is matronly at best, and (to me) feels like bathing in my spice cabinet. No, no, no!

Although I am a fan of how LTEC feels on my lips (it's moisturizing beyond belief!).......The smell is slightly offensive. I never bought LTEC because I sniffed it at the shop and took a big step back. "Ew!" However during the big sale I bought several gift boxes and ended up with a pot or 3. So I cracked one open, held my breath and put it on. Okay, so it's really smooth and the scent diminishes over time. My husband refers to the scent as "smoked bacon-ish", which made me laugh considering the source of the product! (I personally think the scent has no resemblance to bacon. Smoked or not.) Would I buy it again? Hmm. Not on purpose. If it's in a gift box, I'll use it up and like it, but I have to admit, I wouldn't buy it by itself.
Scent is very reminiscent of, and pairs well with Snowcake and Smitten. If you're a fan of those type scents PUD is a good choice for you! Very cinnamon like. I like it okay, but I have to be in a "mood" for this one. Much like with Snowcake. I find that cold wintry days are the most appropriate for this one.
A few notes about Think Pink! 1. I love the scent. It's a sweet, girly smell. It pairs well with Creamy Candy in my tub. If you like sickeningly sweet scents (i do! i do!) You'll probably adore Think Pink. 2. As others noted, it will turn your water a glorious shade of pink! 3. I hate the little candies that pop off and stick me in the bu---..well you know. Sock it if this is an issue for you too! 4. Unfortunately, I don't notice the scent of it lingering on my body as much as I would like. Pairing it with Creamy Candy helps a bit though!
I adore Smitten! It smells strongly of Snowcake soap, to me, a cinnamony smell. As with all LUSH products, it isn't for everybody, but I urge you to give it a try if you can! I use it regularly in the winter to avoid dry, cracked hands. And during the rest of the year, I apply it before bed every single night!
With LUSH, most people either love or hate a product. With Ma Bar, well, I don't hate it, but it's not for me. I bought one and used it over the course of several baths. Pairing it with other bath bombs and soaps to find that "winning cocktail". Unfortunately, this one isn't for me. It has a honey caramel kind of scent to me, but not a caramel I'd want to eat...
A favorite of mine, I'm glad LUSH keeps it in retro! The scent is very banana like to me, but not so much so that it's over powering. I really love to pair it with Sympathy for the Skin lotion! Yum!
This product falls in to my "must-have" slot. SFTS has an amazingly creamy, custard smell. It has a kind of soft, vanilla scent with just a dash of almonds to it. Now, for the moisturizing part! Oh my goodness, if you're looking to moisturize, this is for you!! I don't use it every day, because it's just not necessary for me. Once every 3-4 days keeps me soft. I put it on my feet before I throw my socks on to keep them nice and soft! I will be a die hard fan of this product for ever!
My favorite bubble bar from LUSH! The scent is vaguely reminiscent of cotton candy, and it really lingers on your skin and in your house. If you don't like super sweet scents, then this one isn't for you.
I really like this product! Die hard LUSHies have been waiting on a dedicated vanilla scented lotion for ages! Now here it is, and it was worth the wait. The scent isn't as "true" vanilla as I had thought it would be, but that's okay. The off vanilla scent seems to keep me from becoming sick of it, like I have in the past with annoyingly sweet scented lotions (if you really want a sweet smelling lotion I suggest Sympathy for the Skin). A little bit goes a long way and the scent lasts all day. Which, for the price, it better!
