This is a winner - dirt cheap & does the job. During colder months my hands crack and bleed and I wanted to find a cheaper alternative to my Cerave cream. I just slather this on my hands at night, bear with the odd citrusy smell, let it absorb and slather on some more. It prepares my hands from the cold the next day and helps heal any existing cracks. I love you, you have a permanent place on my nightstand and in my heart. :]

Moisturizers -Aveeno - Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer SPF 30

Did not like this. Smells like pure sunscreen, makes an oily face even oilier, broke me out. Three strikes! I love the packaging. It moisturized fairly well. Perhaps this would work for someone with dry, non-sensitive skin. The SPF is great, but there's a price to pay when your makeup seems to slide off. Not to mention the high price tag for a d/s skincare product. I feel that there's several alternatives that perform better with a better price tag. I've never had much luck with Aveeno products. Congrats to the people this worked for, wish it did for me! What to do with this now. Maybe I'll put it on my arms/chest?

Fragrances -Parfums de Coeur - Vanilla Fantasy

Vanilla addict here. I can't believe it took me this long to find such a wonderful body spray. I bought this for $6.99 at Walgreens. The packaging is super blah, luckily what's inside is the complete opposite. If you just remove the cap and sniff it smells awful. In fact, even when I sprayed it on myself at first it smelled like sweet chewing tobacco, ick! Luckily, I gave it about 10 minutes and it smelled like sweet pure vanilla extract. It's not overly sweet though, it doesn't smell cheap. It lasts about 3-5 hours on me. My husband gave me a hug and said "When did you become a walking talking human vanilla candle?" Awesome! I love this stuff. :D

Powder -Milani - Multitasker

New favorite powder. I have been using Maybelline Dream Matte or MAC Studio Fix Powder forever but I'll never go back. I am NC35 and bought Medium.. it's a TAD too dark so next time I'll pick up the lighter shade. I love Milani's color selection - very asian friendly, it's hard to find the correct shade for warmer skintones when it comes to drugstore products but Milani has made it alot easier. I apply this over my Almay TLC liquid foundation or a tinted moisturizer. I have extremely oily skin and live in a terribly humid climate and this powder has pretty much saved my appearance. Most powders tend to control my oil for 2 hours max.. but this one kept my face looking great for a full 8 hours. It seemed like my makeup looked better at the end of the day. As previous reviewers have said, this powder does give quite a dull finish. I wouldn't recommend this for those with dry skin if you're looking for a dewy look. However, if your face is oily, after an hour or so the oils from your face seem to work with the powder resulting in a very natural looking glow. My mother asked what I was doing different with my makeup routine, it was that noticeable. The compact is gaudy, but I never bring it with me so it doesn't matter - the lasting power is terrific! I'm acne-prone and sensitive to some products that I've slathered on my face, but this isn't affecting my skin in any negative way. It retails for about $5-6 at grocery stores, Walgreens is probably way more expensive. I would highly recommend this product unless you're super duper fair or have dry skin. :]

Fragrances -Bath and Body Works - Pearberry

Such a simple, clean scent. Reminds me of those girls that have really use really great smelling shampoo where the scent lingers. I always buy this when it comes back for the sales, shame it's discontinued. I find that the bottles I buy smell slightly expired... is that possible?

Lips -Palladio - Tinted Lip Balm

I enjoy wearing lipsticks but it's such a hassle for everyday wear. This solves my problem. I bought bronzy-pink and it is gorgeous with simple eye makeup. I feel like my makeup look is complete without having to worry about how it's holding up all day. The lasting power is mediocre, much like any lip balm. It's so easy to touch up, you don't even need a mirror. I'm sure I'll try more of these.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Toasted

Awesome shade! I love this so much. It's one of those shadows that you can wear alone and still look like you put a good amount of effort on your eye makeup. It's a bronzey shade that appears a bit rosy. It's difficult to explain but it's absolutely gorgeous! It's shimmery.. no glitter.. blends like a dream. Looks great on my NC35 skintone.

I really liked this deoderant. Great scent & lasting power. However, I won't repurchase because it formed those little white balls on me. Maybe it's because I always swipe on three or four layers. Meh. What a shame!

My go-to lip gloss for everyday! This looks awesome alone or atop nude lippies. The quality of this lip glosses never dissapoint - this is probably the most practical one for me.

Polishes -OPI - Nail Enamel - Malaysian Mist

This is my first OPI nail polish and one of my absolute favorites. I've been searching for a milky peach nude and this is it. Most others that I've tried have dried too pinky or orangey but this is perfect! It takes 4-5 coats to achieve complete opacity. One coat dries to a perfect sheer lazy french manicure. What I've found with this is that you must get alot of polish on the brush in order to avoid streaking. I don't sweep one side of the brush on the top with this one, I dip it in a just shake off the excess. Gorgeous polish - I wear this on both fingers and toes if I feel like wearing a super pretty color that won't clash with any outfit I wear. Very office appropriate - I'll repurchase for sure.

Primer/ Corrector -Hard Candy - Sheer Envy Skin Illuminating Primer

I am one oily son of a gun so I felt a bit stupid buying this... luckily it's been doing really well for me! When swatched on your hand it will look super sparkly in direct sunlight - I was scared to put this on my face for about a week because of this. Thankfully, it doesn't have the same effect on your face especially when topped with a foundation. The formula is similar to the L'Oreal primer, although it is a bit more ..liquidy. Just a tiny bit is enough to smooth onto your entire face. I let it set for about 2 minutes and blending foundation on top of it is so easy. It produces a beautiful made up face. I wouldn't say that this gives off any type of luminious quality, but it is an excellent foundation primer. My makeup stayed put all day long and it helped control my oily mess of a face. I'll probably buy the original version next time.

Lipstick -Wet 'n' Wild - Bare it All 902C

This is the perfect lipstick. I'm considerably tanned (NC35) and this is my favorite lipstick to wear everyday... it's a nude, but barely noticable that you're wearing a lip product. It leaves you with a clean polished look. The formula is awesome.. dries matte but is still creamy. I always treat my lips at night so I'm sure if I didn't do that this lipstick would accentuate dryness. The packaging is awful, I don't even know how the lipstick smudges all over the tube, but for the price you can't complain, I'll definitely buy this again, I love wet n wild gems.

Polishes -Essie - Sand Tropez

Gorgeous nude. A very polished subtle look. On tanned skin it comes off a bit more gray than the color in the bottle but still looks very flattering. Opaque in two coats and doesn't streak if you let the first coat dry completely. I normally don't buy h/e nail polishes but this color is so unique and lovely - I'd repurchase.

Polishes -Sinful - Hazard

Weird, this color came off with a high-shine for me. Anyways, Hazard is a gorgeous orangey-salmon shade.. a great summer color. It compliments my tanned skin very nicely and is a dream to apply. It's bright without being obnoxious. This takes longer to dry than other Sinful Colors I've tried but the opacity in one coat is worth the dry time (about 30 minutes)... I'd repurchase this along with tons of other Sinful Colors.

Blush -Milani - Baked Blush - Rose D'Oro

I can't get enough of these baked blushes. I own Rose D'Oro, Luminoso and Coralina and none of these disappoint! This is my most recent purchase and is my second favorite behind Luminoso. I thought this was going to be a glittery mess when I swatched it but it creates the most perfect rosy glow on your cheeks.. A light hand does the trick and as previous reviews state it really does last a super long time. I'm going to end up buying every color... yay.
