Mascara -Physicians Formula - Organic Wear 100% Natural Lash Boosting Mascara
thefallenangel525 1/19/2013 1:09:00 AM
This is my daily mascara, as it is easy to remove at night. I have tried the original, fake out, and this one. The lash boosting is definitely my favorite of the bunch, but there is very little difference between the 3 in my opinion. I have straight asian lashes and this holds a curl better than most mascaras but not as well as waterproof formulas. If you put a little vaseline on your lashes before applying the mascara, the curl holds a bit better. Overall, I find this to be a decent mascara. Does not lengthen, thickens slightly, but darkens quite well. Doesn't usually run and is a breeze to remove at night.

Lips -L'Oreal - Colour Riche Balm
thefallenangel525 1/19/2013 1:05:00 AM
I have heavenly berry and plush plum. Plush plum is pretty pigmented while heavenly berry is a lot more sheer. Heavenly berry is my go to shade for school and gym while plush plum is more my going out shade. It does have spf, which is nice, but is low on UVA protection. I find the moisturizing factor to last a couple hours while the color does seem to fade a bit sooner than that.

Cleansers -Giovanni - Purifying Face Cleanser (D:tox System)
thefallenangel525 1/19/2013 1:02:00 AM
I am currently on my second bottle. A few months ago, I thought it was DC'd and i almost cried. I have dry/dehydrated skin but this somehow does not dry my skin out. I have tried many cream cleansers which left my skin feeling tight, but nope, not the dtox cleanser. I sometimes use mineral oil as a pre cleanse before this and this removes all the residue. This also removes my sunscreen and non waterproof makeup. There is an earthy/citrusy scent but it does not linger and is not too strong in my opinion. It is a bit liquidy and dispensing it can be weird sometime, as it kind of leaks on my hand. But, the formula is worth the packaging issues.

Sunscreen -La Roche Posay - Anthelios XL SPF 50 Lait Veloute
thefallenangel525 1/19/2013 12:59:00 AM
This is my go to sunscreen for outdoor use. (My HG is the LRP SX 15) I have dry/dehydrated skin and it doesn't quite agree with the alcohol denatured in the formula. However, I have to use it for a couple days straight before I notice some drying of my skin. It starts out quite shiny but sinks in within 15 minutes to a dewy, velvety finish. No whitening at all. I can apply quite a bit easily, and the price is pretty good for a euro sunscreen.

Lipstick -L'Oreal - Infallible Le Rouge
thefallenangel525 6/19/2012 12:13:00 AM
It's not bad. It's longer wearing than many lipsticks but still doesn't last quite long enough. I can get maybe 3 hours tops with this without any touchups. After eating, it balls up and wears off. The formula is also a bit drying. The color is beautifully pigmented though.

Lipstick -L'Oreal - Infallible Lip Colour Duo
thefallenangel525 6/18/2012 10:31:00 PM
I love this!!! I had this in the target red for two years or so and used it on and off. Then, I totally forgot about it. A few months ago, I started hunting for a long wear lip product and remembered the l'oreal infallible lip color. So, I went out and bought one, and a few days later, I bought 5 more. These are incredible! -Lasts forever. I can get close to 8 hours with no fading. However, towards the inside of my lips small cracks start to form on the lines of my lips. But, it is only noticeable if you look closely. -Easy to apply. With lighter colors, I can get away with one coat. -Top coat gives the perfect amount of sheen and has a very light scent. One thing that really bugs me about this product is that the packaging color rarely comes close to the actual color. I've gotten a couple color duds for me because the color is so different from the package. Removal can be difficult. You have to use an oil based makeup remover and it may take a scrubbing. At first, I used vaseline to remove it but it took so long. Now, I have discovered the best remover for this: aquafina flavorsplash lip balm. I've tried a couple lip balms and other oils but this one works the best. This is how I do it: 1. Dab off top coat and apply aquafina lip balm liberally. 2. Leave on for as long as I have patience for. 3. Wet a cotton ball and wipe lips. The lip color comes right off! The first ingredient in the lip balm is ethylhexyl palmitate, so you could try various other lip balms with that as the main ingredient. Try it!

Eyeliner -Sephora - Jumbo Liner 12HR Wear Waterproof

Love love love love this. I have it in grey, gold, purple, and olive green. I use it to lightly line my eyes then apply some mascara and I'm good to go. These colors, especially the gold, purple, and olive green, really bring out brown eyes. They are creamy and last forever with no smudging. Plus, they are fairly cheap and about ds priced.

Moisturizers -La Roche Posay - Anthelios SX Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15
thefallenangel525 5/19/2012 8:35:00 PM
Very light but moisturizing sunscreen. It's perfect for winter in California although I can probably use this for lounging about during the summer. However, I used this at a theme park w/ 3 applications a few days ago and I did not burn. I started turning a bit red but the next day I was fine. My skins medium though so those who are fair will probably burn. I really like it though!

Moisturizers -Vaseline - Petroleum Jelly
thefallenangel525 5/19/2012 8:30:00 PM
Love love love vaseline! I use it as a face moisturizer for my dry sensitive skin. Many face moisturizers sting or leave my face too dry and vaseline is the only product that works. I apply a thin layer as a night cream. The trick is to apply to damp skin and to warm up the vaseline in your palm before applying. That way, the vaseline is easier to spread and you can use less. No clogs either! It also works well on lips and lasts! I apply one at night and for the whole day, my lips are moisturized even though there isn't a film on them. Please try it!

Moisturizers -Unlisted Brand - Extra Virgin Olive Oil
thefallenangel525 5/11/2012 12:14:00 AM
i've only used this for a day so i really hope it doesn't clog me but so far it is quite magical. Not a miracle product though but well worth it. I have dry skin with clogged pores. There are hard sebum bits in all the pores on my nose and on the sides. The thing is that area is also the driest part of my skin... Yay... So, I used this product yesterday by massaging quite a bit all over my face, and I could FEEL the little gritty sebum bits coming out. I just rinsed my face after and used my normal moisturizer, and this morning, my skin looked a lot smoother. It isn't totally clear of clogs but there is definitely an improvement. I hope continues to work for me! Edit: Clogged me if I used every night but I still use it occasionally.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Falsies
thefallenangel525 4/6/2012 10:28:00 PM
Eh. The formula was too wet and wasn't very buildable. Plus it weighed my lashes down. But it is very black and glossy. It works wonders over the colossal volume mascara though. Over that, it intensifies the black and adds curl/flare. So, it gets a 2.

Moisturizers -Derma E - Tea Tree & E Moisturizing
thefallenangel525 1/23/2012 3:33:00 AM
So far, this stuff us amazing. I've only used it for a day so far but from last night to today, my skin has smoothed out noticeably. I used to have a lot of under the skin pimple bump things, which caused my skin to look bumpy. I used it last night, and today, my skin is hydrated and the bumps are so much tinier. Also, my usually dry skin is nowhere near as dry as before. The only con is the stinging. It stung quite a bit when I first put it on, but it goes away in a minute or two. There's no redness or rash with the stinging. I think I will only use this once a week or so as it is a bit strong. But so far, I love it! Will update if anything changes with prolonged use.

Eye Shadow -Everyday Minerals - In the Garden

I LOVE this. It's my go to shade for daytime. It brings out my brown eyes perfectly without being too dark. The pearly shimmer makes my eyelids glow without being too glittery. It applies best with my fingers, which I don't mind because the application is faster in the morning. This, a lighter brown on my brow bone, and some mascara then I'm good to go. Definitely worth it to try

Shampoo -Trader Joe's - Tea Tree Tingle Shampoo
thefallenangel525 1/14/2012 4:51:00 PM
BEST SHAMPOO EVER. I only use sulfate free shampoos and try to go as natural as possible. I used this shampoo all summer and went through a bottle of the shampoo and the conditioner. Then, I decided to experiment with another natural shampoo. Needless to say, my hair is ruined. I have sooo many split ends and my hair is crunchy and dry. Then, I switched back to this shampoo and no more split ends! It foams up well and cleans without drying. Used with the conditioner, my hair feels as if I used silicones even though the shampoo and conditioner don't have silicones. It's so cheap too. Will be using this forever. Update: Yup. I switched shampoos again and my hair absolutely died. It was dirty and blah. Then, I switched again and my hair was soft but limp. I went back to the tea tree tingle and my hairs normal again.

Eyeliner -Unlisted Brand - Blinc Eyeliner
thefallenangel525 8/20/2011 7:21:00 PM
Best. Eyeliner. Ever. It's not too watery or too creamy. It's just perfect. It comes off soooo easily. Also, it's not hard to put on. Today was the first time I ever put on liquid eyeliner, and on my second try (first try I made it too thick), I managed to put it on well enough to wear out. I love it! Edit: After using this for a month or so, the eyeliner got really clumpy and just hard to put on right. I returned it.
