Foundations -Rimmel - Rimmel Cool Matte 16hr Foundation

This is without a doubt the worst foundation I've ever used. It made me break out without fail each time after each use. I bought it in the summer as my skin was alot darker and I was looking for a more darker foundation. This however had an orange tint to it which was most definitely very unattractive. The mousse is so difficult to blend and really does just seep into your pores and clog them up. It was very cheap so I guess it wasn't a total loss.

Pressed Powders -Maybelline - Dream Matte Pressed Powder

Before discovering this matte pressed powder I was using Napoleon Camera Finish Pressed Powder which I found I had to be constantly reapplying due to my combination/oily skin. With this product, I found that I only needed to apply it once and it left my face looking silky yet not one dimensional the whole day. The great feature about this product is that you can build it up because the coverage is sheer and it still wont clog any pores or look caked on. The packaging is also nifty with the swing-out mirror although the puff that comes with it is quite useless and is probably the only thing that detracts from the product. I use this powder over Revlon 16 hr colorstay foundation and it works a treat. The colouring of this pressed powder is refreshingly yellow based so naturally this product is a godsend to those of olive complexion like myself! I would definitely recommend this product to those with combination/oily skin - it will definitely work to achieve that shine-free look.
