What can I possibly add...In my experience, Bulgari in general is pure elegance, sophistcation, understatement and class. The scents are gently piquant, and always socially appropriate, if not sexy and "breathtaking" and Pour Femme follows suit. It does not have the intoxicating power of say, "Angel" (not many do, and although I love elegance, I also love pure sex in a bottle), nor is it groundbreaking or truly different in genre. However, that being said, I love Bulgari fragrances (I think they all share a common essence) due to their lightness and feminine, elegant trademark. Pour Femme is perfect for the office or whenever one wants to feel serenely beautiful. The notes are citrusy and sweet (violet), and the scent has an overall quality I can only describe as "spritzy".

Fragrances -L'Occitane - Ruban Orange EDT

Exceptional. I was drawn to try this scent because I wanted a sensual, natural, orange-based (I adore orange blossom note) fragrance, that was pure and sophisticated. This amazing scent startled me with it's simultaneous pureness and complexity. It starts out sublimely orange (but not overly sweet) with a hint of wood, rendering it refreshing and also mysterious (a bonus). The amazing part is that over time (the scent holds up on me for 9 plus hours through it's incarnations) it shows a few different faces, belying it's name. At one point the scent becomes slightly floral, yet with an undercurrent of the original orange/wood notes that keep it in line. There's also a restained and elegent lemon note humming in the drydown, and then a delicate, intangible, natural presence that I can only describe as sensual and real. Just what I was looking for.
