I really love this foundation. I've been using it ever since my beloved Custom Blend foundation disappeared with the rest of the Prescriptives line. Caramel matches my skin color very well and the formula matches my extremely oily skin. I've found that most foundations target dry or combination and a foundation for truly oily skin is rare. The oils on my skin laugh in the face of most foundations and can completely break down foundation on my skin just like an oil cleanser. This doesnt happen with colorstay. My skin can still get really oily with this, especially at the end of a long day, but it'll still be on and I love it for that. The only foundation I've seen do a better job is EL Double Wear but the shade closest to my skin had too much red in it. I top this with my mac studio fix in nc50, set with my ud deslick spray and mattify with Kryolan's anti shine powder and this holds up amazingly well in the Texas heat and humidity.
Mascara -Giorgio Armani - Eyes to Kill - Excess Mascara
temmi 10/29/2011 8:27:00 AM
This is my favorite mascara. I've been true makeup addict for almost 7yrs now and in that time, I've bought many, many mascaras. This is hands down my favorite so far. I have average length lashes that are very curly, so they appear shorter than they are. Luckily, they are very full. I have a lot of lashes so I've never really needed volume, just length. This gives me both. Its a very wet and dense mascara and it can get clumpy which I actually kinda love. Like i said, i have quite a lot of lashes, so even when clumped together, they still look fine. The wet formula lets me layer on several coats and this really helps lengthen my lashes. It also gives them a really black glossy look. I love it and will continue to repurchase. I also can't wait to try eyes to kill stretch.
Treatments (Eye) -100 Percent Pure - Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream

I really like this cream. Its not a miracle worker, but its a good moisturizer. It smells fantastic and it helps with my undereye puffiness. Over time, it completely took care of the puffiness underneath my eyes. It comes in a 1 oz bottle, so it lasts quite a while. I'm currently on my 3rd bottle. Its not too moisturizing so its perfect under makeup and on summer nights. On other nights i like the beyond belief vita c cream or the clinique all about eyes rich. I sometimes layer it underneath those two. It doesn't work miracles but I'm really satisfied with it.

This eye cream is fantastic! It gives you amazing $100 cream results, but its only 7 bucks. A friend recommended it too me in January and I just bought my second tube. Its really moisturizing but it isn't heavy at all and doesn't give me those little bumps around the eye. It leaves the skin around my eyes plump and moisturized and its subtly brightening. I have pretty bad under eye circles and they're slightly better with this cream. I've purchased some really expensive eye creams in the past that claimed to lighten under eye circles but I finally gave up on that quest around 2 and a half yrs ago. Now all I ask is that the cream do a good job moisturizing. This cream does that and slightly brightens and I know that it will help keep lines and crow's feet at bay. I love it.
Treatments -Clinique - Repairwear Laser Focus Wrinkle and UV Damage Corrector
temmi 10/29/2011 7:47:00 AM
I used this product in the fall of 2010. I'd been pretty bad to my skin over the summer. Hadn't worn sunscreen religiously, would fall asleep in a full face after a night of partying etc. My skin was dull and I was concerned about the damage that I couldn't see. I bought this and used it religiously till it was gone. It didn't do anything, at least nothing that I could see. Granted I have no lines or wrinkles, but I've gotten visible results from other serums such as EL's ANR. It did absolutely nothing for me, so once the bottle was empty, I moved on.
Skincare - Face -Amore Pacific - Moisture Bound Refreshing Hydra-Gel

I cannot say enough good things about this moisturizer. I have extremely oily skin, really prone to clogging and I used to avoid moisturizer like the plague. They felt greasy, just sat on my skin and felt really uncomfortable, even the infamous la mer one. This one however, I love. Its really light but so amazingly moisturizing. Its perfect. Just perfect. My skin looks glowing and pampered. I cleanse with the cleansing foam, use the treatment toner followed by a vit c serum or an exfoliating one then top with this moisturizer. If i need a little more hydration, i spray the skin energy spray on first, then massage in the gel while my skin is still damp. This regimen has taken my skin from crappy, spotty skin that I was really embarrassed by to awesome. I don't know why its taken me so long to write this review but this gel and the other products I've tried in the line get a big thumbs up from me.
I love this toner. Its alchohol free and water free, using red ginseng extract as opposed to water. I've used and loved this for over 2yrs and wholeheartedly recommend. Before this product I never understood the point of toners, but after using a sample for a wk or so, I was hooked and ordered a bottle before the sample even ran out. It takes off the remnants of my cleanser and makes my skin soft and preps it for serum and other skin care. Its quite pricey, but unfortunately I'm hooked on the glow that Amore Pacific products give my skin.
Cleansers -Amore Pacific - Treatment Cleansing Foam
temmi 10/29/2011 6:54:00 AM
Unfortunately, this is my favorite cleanser. I say unfortunately because its quite a bit more expensive than I would like to pay for cleanser but it is worth every penny so I continue to purchase. I use it with my shiseido massage cleansing brush and it cleans wonderfully but doesn't leave my skin feeling stripped. When I use this cleanser, along with other products in the line, my skin has this pampered, cared for look which is why I always come back when I stray. A tube lasts ages because you really do need the tiniest amount. It's smells refreshing and it breaks down oil and makeup, leaving my skin really soft.
Eye Shadow -MAC - Centre Stage Peacocky 2011 Collection
temmi 2/2/2011 1:14:00 PM
I love this eyeshadow. Its absolutely beautiful and its the only thing I wanted from the Peacocky collection and its the only thing I got. It is totally worth the purchase. However, I had to return it becaue it is an exact dupe for a color I already have-Milani Metallic Baked shadow in Rich Java. Used wet, i couldn't tell the difference and its a fraction of the price of a mac shadow.
Blush -MAC - Mineralize Blush Duo - Light Over Dark (Grand Duos coll.)
temmi 3/13/2010 2:28:00 AM
I got this blush when the grand duo collection came out last March and it sat unused in my collection till this past January. I have so many blushes and it was so easy to constantly skip over it. I don't know what made me finally reach for it one really gloomy, rainy morning but I'm really glad I did. Its a bronze color on my skin with just enough peach to make it interesting and some pretty gold highlights. I really like it and have been wearing it often. Its not too shimmery and its neither too light nor too dark which i was afraid it might be. Its just right.
This blush is absolutely wonderful! Its a beautiful brown pink. If I blushed, I think my skin would flush this color. It looks completely natural on me, like the color is coming from underneath my skin. Its not too brown and not too pink, and the color blends perfectly with my dark skin. It makes me look naturally pretty, and whenever I wear it, people always complement me on how pretty and fresh I look.
Feline is the blackest liner I've ever come across, and used carefully makes my eyes explode out of my face. I use it carefully on my upper lashline with a liquid liner as a base and this seems to help keep it in place. I also never use on my waterline and lower lash line. Its a wonderful liner and think when used carefully could make anyone's eyes look amazing. I have several backups and plan never to be without it.
The color of this liner is amazing. Its a rich blue that always shows up like teal on my skin. This is my go to liner for going out at night. I smudge all over my eye as well as tightline with it. The jewel like color makes my eyes glow and is utter perfection against my skin. I love it so much, I bought a backup even though I might never use up my first one. It is extremely messy though. So much so that I have to do my eyes first before foundation, even though its usually the reverse. Its no biggie tho because this color is completely worth it.
Eyeliner -Guerlain - terracotta kohl in Oriental Metal
temmi 7/15/2009 12:21:00 PM
This eyeliner is amazing. Its a beautiful silvery taupe that opens up my eyes and complements my skin beautifully. I don't expect it to completely define my eyes because it's too light so i always line my upper lashline with black liner. I use it more as an accent and it is perfect with taupe looks. I love pairing it best with my Shu ME brown 850 or ME silver 945 shadows. Of the 6 i own, its definitely my favorite and I reach for it very often.
Eyeliner -Guerlain - Terracotta Loose Powder Kohl in Lagon Bleu
temmi 7/7/2009 9:08:00 PM
I love this eyeliner! This is my 6th one and it has to be my second favorite after Oriental Metal. Its a pretty aqua with very fine greenish gold shimmer. It makes my dark brown eyes pop and looks amazing against my skin. The gold shimmer reall plays up the golden undertones in my skin. I love it on my waterline paired with a bronzey, gold wash all over my lid. I've been wearing it with Shu's Me 855 or Guerlain's Sable Blond eyeshadow that came out with this collection. Its so pretty and is absolutely perfect for summer.I've been wearing everyday for weeks and will probably wear it till the end of summer. It might not work for fairer skins but I definitely recommend checking it out.
