Cleansers -Marcelle - Hydra-C ComplexE Gentle Self-Foaming Cleanser

I have oily skin that can break out if you look at it the wrong way, this cleanser did its job in that it did not leave my face feeling dry or leave a film behind, I liked the fact it foamed up nicely and was unscented. It's easy to find and readily available at SDM. It is a pump dispenser with a tight fitting lid, so it is great for travel, not cheap, but at $15 not at the high end either. The issue I had was the fact that I had to use 3-4 pumps to get all of my makeup off! Needless to say the supply ran out fast! I would definatley repurchase as a back up cleanser, but I still prefer Shishedo extra gentle cleanser, it costs more, but lasts me about 4 months.
I admit it....I gave in and bought this cleanser, after reading the reviews I thought it would be a good choice for my picky, oily, hormonal skin. I soon found out how wrong I was. Broke me out in deep painful cysts., which took forever to heal. Whenever I used it, my face never felt totally clean, and oddly enough felt tight and dry. I am glad however that so many others have had such positive results. A HG cleanser is a must, and so hard to find!
I also purchased the Tea Rose, which is just a couple of shades darker than my natural lip colour. This is a light and creamy gloss with none of those annoying sparkles, at my age, my sparkly days are over!!, it does have a light scent, but does not burn or sting my lips. Feels very grown up. Can't beat the price $15 at Shoppers Drug Mart, might have to go back and buy a few more!!
Cleansers -Shiseido - The Skincare Extra Gentle Cleansing Foam

I was getting bored with my Olay sensitive skin cleanser and decided to give this a try. Lets not kid ourselves, this is expensive ($38 CDN ), but as many of the other reviewers state, a little goes a long way ( pea size, seriously). The scent is light, fresh and somewhat addictive. I usually prefer fragrance free cleansers, but could not resist the scent! It foams up beautifully, and takes off ALL of my makeup, and I usually wear the works!!. It leaves my skin soft, feeling clean, but not tight. My skin is very oily, I don't know if this is the best for dry skin. Cerave broke me out terribly, but so far so good with Shishedo. I have been using for over a month, and I have barely made a dent in the tube. If you are looking to switch things up, this is worth a try.
Treatments -Estee Lauder - Nutritious Vita-Mineral Radiance Serum

Does not aggravate my oily, sensitive skin. Wish it was fragrance free, but the scent is light and dissipates quickly. Serum is clear and lightweight. It will takes few minutes to absorb into your skin. I have been using this for about a month now, and no breakouts or blackheads ( knock wood !!). I was previously using Olay Regenerist, but it sometimes felt too heavy. Lauder's formula seems more natural on my skin, as it organic ( fruit etc) based This serum works great under my foundation and makes my face look very smooth, as a bonus I am finding I don't have to blot as often as I did with Olay. The only issues I have is that this product is not available at all retail locations. I ordered it from the website, with no problems.
After finishing off my last bottle of the now discontinued Teint Idole Enduringly Divine (RIP), I decided to give this a go. My skin is super oily, so it is difficult to find products which do not enhace shine. The consistency is for lack of a better word,is bouncy. I was unsure of the best way to apply and after trial and error figured out to dab a foundation brush in the jar, dot on your face and spread with either your fingers or a beauty blender.(for hygenic reasons it's probably not a good idea to stick your fingers in the jar!). It does dry quickly and the coverage is buildable. Having VERY fair skin, at first I thought I looked like a zombie, but once the rest of my makeup on I have to admit the colour (I'm Canadian!) had settled into something more more natural with a very nice matte finish. I brushed over my face with some transulcent powder and stayed matte fot a good 4-6 hours (usually it's around 2). I deducted points for the jar packaging (dosen't travel well) and because the price points are higher compared to our friends in the U.S. ( I was cross border shopping and picked up a jar for $10, in Canada the price is almost double)
Pressed Powders -Lancome - Translucence Mattifying Silky Pressed Powder

Having oily skin and huge pores, I am been searching for what seems like an eternity for a decent pressed powder that could stand up to my greasy beacon of a face. In Canada, they had discontinued the Shine Free pressed powder, so after consulting beautypedia I decided to give this a go. WOW, was I impressed, this is a delicate fine milled powder that controls shine, looks very natural and does not settle into fine lines and pores. Having very fair skin, it is sometimes hard to find powder that dosen`t make me look like the undead, and Lancome does have a wide range of colours to choose from. I am deducting a lippie because of the price, at $39 CDN it is very expensive.
Scrubs -Marcelle - Hydra-C ComplexE Facial Exfoliating Gel

I am cursed with oily AND Sensitive skin and wanted somethng gentle enough to exfoliate with out leaving my skin red and tender and this did the trick. This is not a lathery or foamy exfoliator, and a liitle goes a long way. I use it twice a week before bed, and my skin feels soft with no stinging or irritation. Be gentle when you squeeze the tube, it is quite liquidy and alot could leak out.
I bought this about a week ago upon the suggestion of a friend who has senitive skin and rosacea. My skin is BEYOND oily and this seems to stay put even with humid Canadian weather. I like this because there were many shades to choose from. I bought the "fair" and it matches my skin perfectly. Tried it in daylight and it looks very natural. So far my only complaint is the price, at $50 CDN, for 1 oz, its pricey, but nice for summer.
Is this product still available in Canada? I have had Sephora and SDM tell me they have discontinued this? Worked well on my forehead but had limited succes in nose/chin/cheek areas (even with serum/moisturizer it turned chalky) Any suggestions?
Treatments -Olay - Regenerist Daily Regenerating Serum - Fragrance Free

WOW what I product, I use this as a primer and moisturizer. I have also noticed past acne red blotches have faded and my skin tone looks more even and less oily. I have given this to friends and family as I am so confident this is an HG product My only complaint is the price difference here in Canada as compared to the US, so I stock up when cross border shopping.
Cleansers -Olay - Sensitive Skin Foaming Face Wash

After my skin went on a hormonal freak out last summer I decided to give this a try. I was very impressed as it did cause my skin to break out and I did not have to use a separate product to remove any residual makeup.(I had used cetaphil for years, but my skin never really felt "clean". You really have to make sure your hands and face are wet to work up a good lather but it's worth a bit of effort. For some reason it comes in either a tube or pump (which can be messy). I prefer the tube as it is have a snap closure making it more portable
I have tried ALL sorts of mattifying products and can say this one is the best.. I am VERY selective as to what I put on my skin as it is sensitve and oliy. It is true that this works best OVER foundation and BEFORE powder. I use Olay Regerating Regenerist Serum (fragrance free), all over my face, let it day, add concealor where needed, then the Neostrata and then powder. I like it much better than antishine which I found to be goopey and left white spotches on my face. Give it a go if you are looking for another option to keep you oil free
