I have very oily skin and found that I can use this any time of the day. Before, I tended to listen to suggestions to try gel or light moisturizers, which is actually not adequate for re-moisturizing most skin. Then my oil glands went overboard trying to compensate for the moisture loss and I was left with even oilier skin, possibly dry patches if I hadn't caught on to the problem soon enough. I can't say that this reduces my oiliness because sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't (I don't even believe there's a miracle product that can solve this problem, so...) All in all, I love this stuff and I store it in the fridge. It somehow feels oilier when applied at room temperature and I feel like I get too much product that way. The cream also feels firmer when cool, but it's up to you. Just something to experiment with. :) Keep in mind if your skin type is oily: a little goes a long way.

Cleansers -DHC - Deep Cleansing Oil

This product is a saving grace! How many times have I tried to use straight olive oil from the food pantry or something that claims to be a really great makeup remover solution, only to be disappointed or frustrated that it will not rinse off? I couldn't even count. I was also afraid that this wouldn't simply rinse off with water. It is completely water soluble, so only apply to a dry face with dry hands. You will be amazed and appreciative that this stuff exists!

Skincare - Face -Pro Activ - 3-Step System

I've used this off and on for years.Thankfully there's now a vending machine at the nearest mall so I don't have to be tied down to their monthly shipments.*tl;dr* I've turned to Proactive twice in desperation. The first time after a horrible combination of Clinique's sad excuse for a skin care system which left my overly oily skin *dry*, and Loreal's Bare Naturale mineral powder that contained bismuth oxychloride (which I slowly concluded was the worst ingredient to ever put on my skin). There was absolutely nothing helping the cystic pimples and horrible rash-like bumpy texture that my forehead had been reduced to. I finally decided to try Proactiv, and help it did. Now more recently I ignorantly used a powder that I had no idea contained bismuth oxychloride, and am in a similar state of rash and pimples on my forehead. After day 4 of my nightly use of Proactiv, I can already see significant improvement. Will this be harsh on your skin? Probably. Will this system sting and/or have a drying effect? Likely. The way I've decided to handle it is by only using it nightly in combination with DHC Extra Nighttime Moisture cream and either pure food grade almond oil from the health food store or pure jojoba oil (layered over step 3). That soothes my skin and prevents it from getting dry after I use the system at night. So you may have to do some improvisations with the system, based on the characteristics of your skin. Some may be too put off with having to resort to other products in addition to Proactiv. However, it has been and currently is worth it, in my opinion. Nothing else more gentle or more extreme has produced these results, and in such a timely manner. It's definitely something to think about. I will warn others that the moisturizer in this kit should not be relied on solely because it is not very effective at replenishing the moisture loss. Also, be careful to use light circular motions when using the cleanser because it has a grainy texture which can scratch or irritate your skin (in case you get a little too carried away.... I have) I hope this was helpful!
