Eyeliner -MAC - Kohl Power Eye Pencil in Feline

Feline is the worst eye pencil I have ever used. I was running late for work and decided to line my upper lashes. The eyeliner began to melt almost instantly. Every time I blinked eyeliner ran to my bottom lashes. I looked like a hot mess. To make matters worse, I didn't have time to remove it before I had to get to work. I ordered the pencil from MAC online, so perhaps it had stayed in the stock room too long, but I will never take a chance on using Feline again. Mine is in the trash!

I decided to try this because of the good reviews. I already had Clinique Eqyptian, and they do indeed look exactly the same. It is a lovely wearable daytime color with a slight sparkle. The color looks very different depending on the light but it swatches deep green with gold specks. I will not repurchase because Clinique products are much more readily available where I live, so I will buy Eqyptian in the future.

Moisturizers -Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion

I have tried many different moisturizers, but I always come back to this because I have not found anything that performs better in the same price range. I have Clinique type II skin in the winter and type III in the summer. I have been using this and Youth Surge with spf 15 every morning, and then I use Olay Regenerist Serum and Olay Regenerist night cream at night before I go to bed. My skin is visibly softer and smoother. I will continue to repurchase unless I find a better moisturizer for the same or lower price.

Eye Makeup Remover -Clean & Clear - Oil free Soothing Eye Makeup Remover

I ran out of the Nars eye makeup remover I was using, which is terrible by the way, when I decided to check the reviews for Clean & Clear. I purchased my first bottle based on the positive feedback, and I am so glad I did! It did a great job of removing Clinique Lash Power mascara with just a few swipes. It does feel slightly oily, but it wipes off with just a generic makeup wipe. I purchased it on base for $5.39. I plan to buy several more bottles because the base where I am stationed has a tendency to run out of stock on high demand items. Clean & Clear is the best eye makeup remover I have used so far.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Naked Palette

I waited for months to be notified by Urban Decay that this was back in stock, because I was unwilling to pay more than retail for this. I got it today, and it was worth the wait. The colors are lovely, but as others have said they are not unique. It is very convenient to have 12 full size shadows in one palette, but not enough for me to pay what some sellers on ebay or Amazon were asking for this. I have to admit that I have become a makeup addict, but makeup is just not that serious. I paid $44 for the palette with the two sided eyeliner. I plan to buy the new Naked palette that contains the full size brush for $48. If you are still waiting to get your hands on this palette, just be patient and remember that good things come to those who wait.

Mascara -NARS - Larger Than Life Lengthening Mascara

I decided to try this because of the good reviews. I use this over Clinique lash primer. I could instantly see a difference in the length of my lashes, but I don't like the brush. It feels like a cheap drug store mascara brush, which is why I only rated it a 4. I expect more from a $24 mascara; however, I will repurchase because it does do what it claims.

Mascara -Clinique - Lash Power

I decided to try this after seeing a Guru mention this on YT. I have finally found my HG mascara. The small brush is perfect for my barely there lashes. I have been using this and clinique lash primer for about a month now and it does not clump or run even in the hot humid weather where I live. I have thrown out all of my other mascaras because I am so completely satisfied and have already bought a back up of this and the lash primer because I do not want to run out.

Mascara -MAC - Opulash

I ordered this from Nordstrom shortly after its release due to all of the hype on Youtube. This mascara did not work for me. After two coats my lashes begin sticking together and I get the spider look, which is not cute. MAC Studio Fix mascara performs much better than this, so I will not repurchase.

Lotions/ Creams -Carol's Daughter - Almond Cookie Shea Souffle

I was using Palmer's Cocoa Butter lotion and was completely satisfied until I discovered this. I like the smell and how beautiful it makes my legs, and heels look when I wear sandles. It is very rich and moisturizing, so a little really does go a long way, which is fine with me because this is not cheap. I will definitely buy more when I run out.

Brows -MAC - Eyebrows Crayon in Spiked

I just had to buy this after I saw how great my brows looked after an MUA did them. It is the perfect brow color for my NW43 skin. I also use Wet N Wild kohl pencil in dark brown and Maybelline Define-A-Brow in dark brown because I run out of Spiked so quickly. But this is definitely the best brow liner that I have found so far.

Cleansers -Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser

I agree that this is a very gentle cleanser. However, after rinsing my face It still feels like I have a film, perhaps the moisturizer, left on my face. My friend loves this, which is why I tried it, but after a few days of using this I was back to using Olay Foaming Cleanser, my HG.

Treatments (Eye) -Clinique - All About Eyes

I have been using All About Eyes twice a day for months. I have noticed that It makes my eyeshadow base glide on easier, but I really haven't noticed any improvement in the overall appearance of my eye area. I will continue to use this until I run out, but I do not plan to repurchase.

Eye Makeup Remover -Rimmel - Gentle Eye Make Up Remover

This product works fine for removing eyeshadow, but it does not remove mascara well, even after several swipes. It also stings my eyes. The amount of product you get for the money is great. Too bad it doesn't perform better for removing mascara.

Lip Gloss -MAC - Viva Glam V Lipglass

This is a very pretty neutral pink lipgloss with just a slight shimmer. I wear this alone or over Viva Glam VI lipstick. It looks great with bbq lip pencil (discontinued). I will continue to repurchase because 100% of the selling price goes to support persons living with AIDS.

Lip Liners -MAC - BBQ lip pencil

Why did MAC discontinue BBQ liner? It is the perfect skin tone liner for my pigmented lips. I use Chestnut liner most often, but this is great for a nude lip because it does not change the color of the lip product. I will repurchase if MAC decides to bring this back.
