Treatments -Desert Essence - Tea Tree Oil (100% Pure Australian)

I had a terrible skin reaction to SK II essence recently and to stop the itching, I dipped a cotton bud into the bottle and gently dab it in. This is the first thing I would dab on whenever I get skin rashes or allegies or pimples ie after cleansing the area. It dries up the affected fast and just a little dab on the spot will do it. And to calm down the redness a little Queen Helene mint mask does the trick applied at night and the next morning, I will wash it off and the red spot is almost gone. You will see some skin peeling on the applied area however and the scars will gradually fade away, thank goodness. You can read more reviews on iherb.com and if you feel you wanna try, you get $10 discount if you order more than US$40. Discount code is: AWE322

Treatments -SKII - Facial Treatment Essence

Got a sample and tried it, thought it was good, so I went out to get a full size bottle and simultaneously bought the spot corrector, whitening clear lotion and stempower as well. My skin reacted very badly, after apply the essence and followed by the rest of the stuff. My face started to with an intense burning sensation. About 2 hours later, the temple areas began to itch and red bumps started appearing, I had to wash my face again because I could not take the itch anymore. The inflamed areas were sore , I applied tea tree oil to soothe the itch. The following morning, my temple areas were still red with heaps of pimple liked bumps and some areas on my face has tiny oil pus that also emerged overnight gross! Some called it purging, they got to be joking! The essence is a total letdown and absolutely overpriced. For such a high price SK II is like projecting a great confidence in their products but it is all just marketing gimmicks. I feel ripped off and all the raving claims and reviews on the essence is a big scam in my opinion. Can SK II representativies justify their highly marked up price on this so call "miracle water"? I feel cheated. I paid so much and I get this. No thank you. If it is reasonably charged I wouldn't have felt so cheated and angry for being misleaded.

I tried it for 2 months, it did nothing to lighten my melasma. Don't waste your time and money on this. A costly lesson.

Foundations -Chanel - Lift Lumiere Fluid

I am asian and the SA at the HK airport recommended #30. The texture is smooth and applies beautifully but one hour later i hated what i see in the mirror because the color oxidizes terribly to a orange colored. My neck area is fair and I ended up looking tan. Oh goodness me. For the price it cost me, it is not worth repurchasing. I had to find a white base sunscreen to lighten it. And lastly I can't tell if the bottle content is what it claims to be 30ml. The bottle is so light.

Treatments -Makeup Artist's Choice (MUAC) - TCA Peel
rated 2 of 5

I have treated my face with TCA 15% twice last year, would like to add my 2cents. It did not helped me to lightened my pigmentation and age spots. In fact, the areas that have frosted have now developed into dark patches above my left eye brow. Not 1mm of my pigmentation areas frosted even with 3 layerings. I now cannot leave home without makeup to cover up my newly developed imperfections and my skin has become extremely sensitive to sunrays. I wished I didn't read the past reviews on this product, I would have less to deal with today. It is cheap shot.

Sunscreen -Avene - Avene Eau Thermale Very high protection Tinted Cream spf 50 Sensitive skin
rated 2 of 5

I got this hoping it would protect my skin. It is waterproof but it leaves my skin with a oily greasy shield and my flyaway hair sticks to my face which is rather annoying at times. I think I would have appreciated the high protection level it is giving but at the end of the day, after I have my face washed with a face cloth followed by a liquid cleanser, I could see my pores clogged with both white and black blackheads. Although the tube states it is non-comedogenic. It did not helped my pigmentation issue, although I carry an umbrella and splash the sunscreen on my face which leaves a terrible white tint my pigmentation is still growing. I am still searching for a sunscreen that is non comedogenic that has no alcohol, fragrance free who needs parfume on your face which I believe is the number one cause for pigmentation and non-greasy, is that too difficult to ask?
