When you are older , add wrinkles to dark circles and you get a double whammy of problems to hide. With this brilliant little pot of cream to powder concealer, I get to wipe out both. I am super impressed with the colour (Medium) blendabilty and setting power of this concealer. It should have rave reviews. I plan to try and buy more to stock up as I hear its discontinued but may be available on the TSC ( in Canada). Cream to powder in one formula is amazing and I dont know why there arent more products out there like this.

Self Tanners -L'Oreal - Subllime Bronze One Day Teinted Gel

My "go to"bronzer for an instant wash of colour that is waterproof and looks like a day in the sun. Great on your face or all over. I just used it this morning! No worries about developing an orange colour- what you see right away is a realistic golden brown that can be layered for a deeper colour if required. Wish it had a better pump-sometimes it doesnt work.

Eye Shadow -Pixi - Fairy Light Solo Eyeshadow (all shades)

I got this in a kit. Chunky glitter that looks trashy as eye shadow. Cant use as a highlighter either under brows or top of cheekbones. Total waste of money and a new candidate for the waste bin.

Shampoo -L'Oreal - EverCreme Cleansing Conditioner

L'Oreal has had time to work on the co wash trend and they got it RIGHT! I have tried conditioner washing in the past ( Suave coconut ) re Curlygirl method but this product puts that one to shame .Washed last night, air dried and then did a sock bun. My curls are so shiny, lush and fluffy this morning, I did not even need a touch up with a curling iron. I am SOLD.One step only, no more shampoo to strip, then oil up to replace ( which is the standard process). Thank you L'oreal. BTW: L'oreal owns Kerastase and heard on Youtube this is a cousin to their Chroma Sensitive line ( which is $40++ a bottle). Makes sense that one company would share formula knowledge and we reap the benefits. UPDATE*** I can now wear my hair in a side bang , without having it drive me crazy because this product has made it extremely manageable. Who knew??? I even got a compliment on my hair and was happy to recommend this to a friend. UPDATE#2 Now after 4 weeks, my hair feels and looks greasy but is dry/flyaway at the same time.So disappointed.

Polishes -Wet 'n' Wild - Megalast Nail Color

Not sure about the wide brush because I still cant do a nail in one swipe but love the polish. I have Undercover" , a rosy/pinky nude, and its a great creme polish. My short nails look "done" and shiny, even without a topcoat.And for this price, I can get several colour. I think this formula is like a Sally Hansen knock off but waaaay cheaper.If this turns out to be a polish that lasts a bit, I am sold.

Palettes -Too Faced - Matte Eye

You can try and pretend you are 20 and use glitter and shimmer eye shadows but you wont fool anyone so grab this palette and look gorgeous at any age. Mattes palettes have been long missing from the shelves - my old Physicians Formula has now gone to its grave. This palette, with 9 mattes , is my new HG and I have used it everyday since I got it. Flatterring shades, highly pigmented, blendable and stay on forever when matched with TFSI. Toss out the old, in with the new.My best buy in a long time.

Primer/ Corrector -Pixi - Flawless and Poreless Primer

I keep trying to like this and fail each time. Fails ( for me) as a primer, compared to Monistat, and corrects nothing. Got it as a sample in a kit, so just happy I did not pay for a full size. Pixi Peach concealer is so fabulous. This is not.

Eyeliner -Milani - Eye Tech Liquid Eyeliner

Just a really disappointing product- thin and watery and the line skips because of this. Looks like old fashioned liquid liner, harsh. Use Essence liner, a much better product, with great flow and impact.

Polishes -Wet 'n' Wild - Casting Call 462

Shocked at how well this stays on, coats and has a super shine. So cheap, you can buy it in several colours, so not even an issue to worry about. Casting Call # 462 is a dupe for Sally Hansen No Chip # 49 but at about 1/6th the price . Shiny, as if I added topcoat, but I did not.It makes even short nails look better so if you are waiting to grow yours out, dont .Just get this now.

I would never buy this again. A JUMBO container which contained a teeny, tiny tube of balm. Talk about consumer deception!!! Shoppers beware, if giving this as a gift. You WILL be dispappointed and so will the person who gets this.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Telescopic

Wow. a new kind of brush that is actually better than any I tried. I have the Carbon Black. What I find unique about this brush is you can address each eye lash and brush on the mascara really close to inside and outer eye lashes without globbing the mascara too much on the middle lashes.I am sold.Stocking up now.

Top/Base Coats -Unlisted Brand - American Classics - Gelous Advanced Nail Gel Coat

Ok so I had read good things about Gelous as a base coat( shiny, holds polish well, builds nail).I wondered to myself,Hmm... if I mix Gelous with my favourite Rimmel polish, will that help it hold colour even more. Would it make it a " Gel" type polish that needs no UV lamp?? So I tried it out and it works really well- Rimmel Hot Cocoa mixed with equal parts Gelous( I used an old contact lense container to mix and hold it.) I am defintely going to keep using different combos with Gelous. I have a winner.

I love Sallys and go there for their unique lines- but now in LOVE with the Ion Shampoo and Conditioner that removes build up. It really cleans and conditions and my hair actually looks better now than ever.Wonderful grapefruit scent , vegan friendly and just really different from the drugstores lines you get every where else. Also use their Unred to removes unwanted red tones from hair. Go to Sallys, You wont regret it.
