Moisturizers -Curel - Daily Moisture Therapy Lotion - Fragrance Free
rated 3 of 5

I liked the rich feeling quality of this lotion; it felt like a silicone protectant for the skin, however it only went on well with dry skin. Unlike many rich lotions, that go on better with moist or freshly washed skin. It works well keeping hands protected, but if hands are chapped or irritated it will not heal them. Being very sensitive to many scents, this was truly fragrance free and did not bother me at all.

I go for the unscented Vasoline in a tube, for my lips, elbows, knees, and feet! I never have chapped skin or lips. It also helps heal cuts, all over the body, even in the most private of areas. I have very oily skin, so I do not use it on my face at all.

Lotions/ Creams -Vaseline - Vaseline Intensive Rescue Moisture Locking Lotion
rated 3 of 5

This product has NO scent, which was a plus due to allergies/asthma/overall sensitivity. However, it felt tacky on my hands. It has more of a vasoline (greasy), not thick lotion, feel. It was not moisturizing enough for my very dry skin.

Gels/Soaps -Bath and Body Works - Winter Candy Apple Moisturizing Anti-Bacterial Hand Soap
rated 5 of 5
tassekuchen 12/8/2012 10:06:00 AM

In the wintertime (I live in a very chilly New York), I only use the Bath and Body Works Moisturizing Hand Soaps. It moisturizes the best of any handsoap that I've found. A lot of scents are over powering, for me, but this one is a delicious and very light scented vanilla mixed with apple scent. I love it and will keep buying it, each year!

Skincare - Face -Unlisted Brand - Grapeseed oil
rated 5 of 5

My masseuse once told me this is what they used on everyone's skin! I found that using a pea size drop of Grapeseed Oil and then running it through wet hair will leave it super soft. My skin is very sensitive and many commercial hair products leave me feeling sticky or rashy. This absorbs right into the skin, with no sticky or tacky feeling after. I also use it for a total body moisturizer, in the wintertime, however do not use it on my face as it's super oily, acne prone, and overall very sensitive. My $8.00 bottle has lasted me well into a year; you can purchase it at the grocery store, where you find the other cooking oils.

Skincare - Face -Clinique - Acne Solutions Line (all products)
rated 5 of 5

I have had oily, acne prone, and overall extremely sensitive skin all of my life. I am currently in my mid 30's and have used this Acne 3 step routine for over 10 years; I only use the acne line it in the summertime, since the heat activates my super oily skin and causes more breakouts than in the wintertime. In the winter, I use the normal Clinique 3 step routine. The Acne solid cleansing bar I do use all year round. It is the only product that I have been able to use and have my skin clear up, looking and feeling healthy again. It is a bit expensive, but worth it to me; I find that using a cotton ball makes the Clarifying Lotion last a lot longer. I will probably use this product for the rest of my life!

I have had oily, acne prone, and overall extremely sensitive skin all of my life. I am currently in my mid 30's and have used this Clinique moisturizing gel for over 10 years. It works best in the wintertime, since in the summer the heat makes my face super oily and I have to use the Clinique Acne line's moisturizer.

Treatments -Ion - Repair Solutions Hair Reconstructor

I've never had a problem with dry hair, until having 2 1/2 highlights and 2 perms done in a matter of 6 weeks! It turned crispy, frizzy, and close to unbearable. It was so snarly, when wet, that my comb's teeth starting breaking off (which has NEVER happened to me, before). So, I found this product at Sally's and it is the ONLY treatment that I've found to really improve the condition of my hair and re-seal its' severely damaged cuticles. I'm sensitive to smells and this product does not smell bad at all; it has an almond/nutty kind of scent. I use it once a week, as a deep conditioning treatment, and leave it on 10 minutes in the shower with plastic over it. It works perfectly and I already bought myself a big, pump bottle of it for $10.00 at Sally's!

Sunscreen -Clinique - Sun SPF50 Face Cream
rated 4 of 5
tassekuchen 6/23/2010 11:42:00 PM

I have medium blond hair and fair skin, so I use the SPF 50. I tried the 30, but still burned. This sunscreen will last, but if you get wet it washes away easily and has to be reapplied. I don't like a lot of scents, but it has a light "sunscreen" smell, without any other added fragrance(s). It's a thick lotion that easily spreads; at first it can feel a little greasy, although it's made without oil - my skin is oily and it works perfectly (no outbreaks or additional oil(s) added). The greasy feeling does go away after a little while. It's expensive ~ $18.00, but will last me for the entire year.

Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)
rated 5 of 5
tassekuchen 6/23/2010 11:33:00 PM

This primer is just what my very oily eyelids needed, in order to stop my eye shadow from creasing and fading away. It holds my eyeliner in place, too; that has always been a problem. Kind of pricey ~ $18.00 at Sephora, but the good news is that it last a long, long time; a dab does the job. I love it and never I'm going to use anything else, again!

Mascara -Cover Girl - Professional Waterproof Mascara
rated 5 of 5

This has amazing staying power, on my very oily eyelashes! It's the only mascara that I wear, that stands up to no running in very hot and humid weather. It's not expensive either ~ $3.00 at Walmart.

Eyeliner -New York Color - Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil Moody 935A Moody Blue
rated 5 of 5
tassekuchen 6/23/2010 11:06:00 PM

This is the best eyeliner that I've ever found, to wear on my ultra greasy eyes! It stays true, all day long; just like it says it does not smear, fade, or run for anything. I've worn it in the humid summer heat already and love it. I have blue eyes and like the Moody Blue and Mink colors. Found it at Walmart for $3.50
