I love this stuff!! Every time I use under eye concealer, I end up looking so puffy and weird. But this stuff is perfect. I dab some under my eyes with a small fluffy brush and it just brightens my under eye without making my face look weird and swollen. Sometimes I also use this as a light setting powder or a subtle highlighter for that extra brightening oomph. Love it!
BB Cream -Garnier - BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector - Light/Medium

I have this is Light/Medium. I like this bb cream/tm. I'm not sure if I love it though, I'm still undecided on that. Took 1 lippie off for its moody staying power, I feel like I can not depend on it staying on for more than 4-6hours. Some days it stays on all day, and others it would slide off my face really fast. This reminds me a lot of MAC F&B, the finish and smell are similar. Definetly not a matte finish, its very very dewy. I find that it works best topped with MAC Blot Powder for a nice natural finish. So, overall I do really like this because of the nice effect it gives my face, but I only use this when I'm at home or when I know I won't be out for long. Also, this moisturizes pretty well.
I really like this foundation, after a bad experience with ProLongwear I decided to try this, and I'm glad I did. Easy to work with, I just use my fingers (sometimes buffing it in with a brush) coverage is very nice, just be careful not no pack it on or it will most likely cake. Formula is blendable which I like. Downside is I can't wear this everyday, if I do I get dry patches on my face, so this is more of my special occasion fdtn.
As much as I wanted to like this fdtn, it just didn't work for me. Texture was like glue, very patchy, almost no coverage and it broke me out! :( I loved the idea of this foundation, but it is not for me. Extra lippie for good packaging.
The color is very pretty.. it has this 'not-in-your-face' orange tone to it. The good thing is that its highly pigmented and the texture is thick..so it does last quite a while. But, like most of the reviewers here, I cant stand the separating.. I just can be bothered to do a "mixing" ritual everytime i want to wear this..so its up for swap... :)
Treatments (Eye) -The Body Shop - Illuminating Eye Treatment

I use this as a day eye cream/treatment.. I guess its pretty good..if it wasnt for the illumintating part, I probably would give it 3 lippies, but because It does a pretty good job in hiding the dark cirles under my eyes I added an extra lippie..Im not a pro on eye treatments..but this works fine for me..just be careful not to use too much because this stuff flakes if the area where applied is touched or sweeped..but not as much as the daily eye treatment cream :) Edit: This stuff just flakes off..id doesnt sink in at all..I dont know if its just my skin or what, but this stuff doesnt work for me..really wanted to like this :(
I cant rave enough about this!! this stuff is wonderful..the only exfoliator that doesnt dry out my skin..and leaves my skin soooooo soft and smooth!!!! TRY IT!! really...try it!!
Treatments (Eye) -The Body Shop - Daily Eye Treatment with Kinetin [DISCONTINUED]

I dont have too many experiences with eyecreams..but when I started to notice some fine lines and dark undereye circles, I decided to get an eye cream...so, I decided to get this because I have a TBS member disc. :P and the SA reccomended me with this to me.. I think this is an OK cream..When i first applied it, it stung quite a bit..for a few mins..but then it went away (this happened for like the first 3 days) after all the stinging, it did brighten the under eye circles instantly and the cream absorbed pretty well so I continued to use this, the only thing is i can only use a teensy bit (which sometimes I think isnt enough) because this stuff flakes like crazy!! (no idea why) and that is really annoying.. I guess only a small bit is actually absorbed in the skin..the rest just sits there and creates an illusion that my undereye circles are lightened. I think I'll try something else once I finish with this :)
Lip Treatments -Clinique - Superbalm Raspberry Tint
tasjaa 7/24/2006 9:33:00 AM
I got this when I went through a period where my lips were super dry and flaky (eek!!) and they were hurting like crazy too.. I tried almost everything..moisturising gloss, lip balms, medicated lip balms, vaseline, 8hr cream..but nothing helped..then I passed by a Clinique counter and decided to give this a try. I got the raspberry tint because I thought it would help bring back some color to my 'sick' lips.. 1st time trying it on I was already impressed, I could feel a difference in the texture of my lips..so I started to only use superbalm on my lips everyday..it only took like 2 days to completely get rid of the dryness and flakiness of my lips...The texture of this is thick, but not in anyway uncomfortable.. I love this!!
Wow!! this stuff is wonderful!!!! I bought this because i really want to have those extremely thick lashes.. so I thought this was worth a try, the price was good and if it didnt do anything visible to my lashes at least it will condition them.. I was going to post a review after the 30 day results..but its only been like a week and a half and I can already see massive results in thickness and length.. this stuff is great..I just hope it wont make my lashes look like Mr.Snuffle-upagus's..haha
Mascara -Shu Uemura - Fiber Xtension [DISCONTINUED]
tasjaa 7/11/2006 12:27:00 PM
I hate this!!! The SA reccomended me this mascara when I wanted the long thick 'false lash' effect mascara..So I bought it even though it was really pricey.. when I tried it at home I literally cried..this irritated my eyes so bad.. and it did nothing to my lashes..no length, no volume only fiber mess... BIG dissapointment...
okay..I really love MAC and there are only a few products that doesnt work for me..and this is one of them.. I got this in the strobe cream try-on pac.. first of all, this doesnt really work as a makeup remover, not even on the non-waterproff products. the wipes are slightly oily and irritates my eyes which is annoying and the smell doesnt help either. I did add an extra lippie for the packaging, I liked how it is a click packaging so the wipes dont easily dries up.
At first I reeeaallyyy loved this...its a really nice cream that has a pearly shine to it. When I wore it it just made my whole face glow...I think this also made my complexion a lot smoother. I took 2 lippies off because first I couldnt stand the smell..YUCK! and the second reason is because it made me breakout... Well I really wanted to like this but because it made me breakout I dont think ill use this anymore, but if you dont have sensitive skin I think you should try it out..just try to bare withe the smell.. :P
I have this in #421..its a purple without shimmers.. this is my first Biotherm product and im really happy with this..because it really moisturizes my lips without beeing sticky and the scent is a sweet yummy fruity scent.. i find that the gloss wears longer than any other glosses ive tried..and when the gloss does wear off it leaves a pretty deep pinkish stain on my lips which i loveeee... would def buy again :) YUM!
