Liquid -Laura Mercier - Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation

Didn't like this at all. Usually use the silk-cream range but as the shop was out of stock thought I would try this. I agree the product looked nice initially after application, but that faded quickly and the foundation appeared patchy and I felt the need to continually retouch throughout the day even though I used it with the oil-free primer. I have tried the foundation without primer also and it wore off ridiculously quickly and I am not even particularly oily. I do think that there is a good colour range in the collection, particularly for those with yellow undertones however I also thought that this foundation started to discolour on my face throughout the day, which is surprising for an oil free and it doesn't glide on very well so you do end up using a lot.
Mascara -Yves Saint Laurent - Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils

This is certainly a good mascara, it gives a lot more omph than Lancom hypnose and does clog the lashes at all and you can build up in parts as well. Does need a proper removal process though which can be annoying. It is a bit expensive and in comparison to other mascaras, I have also found that the product life is not too long and the formula went a bit gloopy and dry too quickly considering the price. Nice brush though.
Really surprised by some of these reviews! I have had adult acne for years now, had completed a Roacutane course a while ago which did help but my acne returned with a vengeance after a year and I really didn't want to use that medication again due to the awful side-effects. Was recommended Murad and I really do advocate that it makes a huge difference. I used to get cystic acne, huge uncomfortable clusters of boil like spots that linger for months and leave scars. These reduced immediately with the Dr Murad treatments, and now although I get the occasional monthly spot, they are very small and quickly disappear. I haven't continued to purchase the cleanser from the collection, think its too expensive for what it is but have continued everything else and have had consistently clear skin since. Unlike other acne products these don't dry the skin out, and also the anti-wrinkle/anti-acne serum actually has got rid of those tiny little frown lines on the brow. Really very happy!
Bit overpriced for a clay cleansing mask, although to be fair the tube does last a long time. Whilst I don't think this is the ultimate solution to acne, I have found this to be the most effective mask to compliment acne treatment routine. I use it twice per week and it def reduces spot sizes and clears black heads. Bit drying but if you moisturiser after its fine. Its good to put onto individual spots overnight for emergency treatment.
