Moisturizers -Revive - Ré Vive Sensitif Cellular Repair Cream

Don't want to tempt fate just yet, have only been using this moisturizer for 1 week received as a sample with purchase but so far I am loving the look and feel of my skin each morning after applying this cream. May at last have found my hg day moisturizer and after 20 odd years of looking that's some admission. It seem s to have it all - spf 15 check (would have liked higher, but if thats it's only fault I'm not complaining), impressive anti aging properties check, soothing my sensitive/rosaeca skin check, leaves my over oily skin matt check. One big downside is the price for a full size jar but willing to pay that price if this stuff really works for me. Will update if I discover any problems/adverse reactions but so far, fingers crossed, this could be IT!!!!!!

Cleansers -Unlisted Brand - Green People - Organic Base No Scent Cleanser

My holy grail cleanser have been using it for 3 months, cleanses and tones my skin in one go - love the feeling of it on my face, like a reviewer said old fashioned cold cream but to me in the best sense - luxuriously creamy and nurturing when massaged into my dry skin. Then rinsed off with warm water you have clean makeup free skin that is not tight or stinging, yet also doesn't make my oily complexion worse. I have tried a lot of cleansers over the years and the ones that soothed my rosaeca made my oily skin overreact and vice versa. To me this one is unique and a keeper!

Treatments -Clean & Clear - Advantage Acne Spot Treatment

I had wanted to review this product for some time but thought I should give it a few months to be completely honest in my observations. Firstly I will point out that although spots/acne were a constant companion throughout my teens and twenties - since I reached my thirties and had a baby they are no longer a issue with me. That said with underlying oily skin I still do get the occasional breakout on my chin and forehead and I have found Clean and Clear Advantage Spot Treatment will clear those up overnight. This is a very powerful product which attacks the spot by sealing it off and drying it the instant you apply it to your skin. As I have said my skin type is oily but also sensitive/reactive on my cheeks so I have to be careful how and where I apply products to my skin so as not to provoke a reaction. As other postings have said on this review this is not a product to apply all over your face !! It is not a moisturiser !! It should be applied to completely clean skin in a small amount and ONLY to the immediate area around your spot. I do this at night before bed as I know that I will not be applying makeup on top and I believe it gives the skin time to breath and the spot treatment time to work. The other thing I have noticed is that it is most effective when you apply it to a spot that has just appeared - it will kill it overnight. To those of you who have acne covering a medium to large area of your face I do not believe that this is the spot treatment for you. I have been there when I was younger and all this product will do is dry out your skin and cause it to produce more oil which will in turn block pores and cause more spots. This treatment is most effective for those people who get the occasional spot and need to stop it from progressing. Using it over the last 6 months I have no hesitation in giving it 5 stars.

Lip Treatments -La Mer - Lip Balm

My go to lip balm - the only one I would ever buy. Love the smell, love the texture and sheen it gives my lips, love how it keeps them moisturized all day long. Only one big problem the PRICE - its way too expensive for the amount of product you get, but I'm addicted, ebay is my saviour and I can keep my habit going without breaking the bank. I have tried other brands in the past but can honestly say that I will never stray again.

Scrubs -St. Ives - Apricot Scrub Sensitive Skin

Has worked very well for my sensitive skin for a number of years now. I had seen several recomendations on Youtube and decided to give it a try. I use it in the shower about once a week when I apply an intensive treatment on my hair. Even though this scrub is advertised for sensitive skin I think the trick is not to scrub to hard on the more sensitive/rosacea prone areas of your skin, a very light touch is all that is needed. The results on my skin are as good as any expensive brand on the market and I will never swap or be tempted to try a new brand.

Cleansers -Dr. Hauschka - Cleansing Milk

It has taken me some time to get used to this cleanser. The smell, texture and price were initially not its most positive factors but over the last 6 months I have grown to love the clean healthy feeling of my skin, the lack of breakouts and the calming effect on my rosacea. This cleanser does not dry out my skin or leave an oily residue on my (already oily) t zone. It has become my hg cleanser and along wih Dr H's Rhythmic Conditioner Sensitive has become my foolproof night time routine. Couldn't recommend this cleanser highly enough but as I found it does not work overnight, stick with it for at least a month to let your skin get used to and respond to it.

The best product for sensitive skin, rosacea etc can't rate it highly enough. Go to bed with just this on your face after cleansing and wake up with beautiful, clear, calm, glowing skin. Unbelievable but so true. Its always on my bathroom shelf and will always be, def. a hg product for me.

Moisturizers -Dr. Hauschka - Quince Day Cream

Started using this product last week as I needed a basic natural, organic moisturizer. I have mild sensitivity on my face with the beginings of rosacea on my cheeks. My t zone is oily, oily, oily so I need to be pretty careful about the products I use. Dr H Rythmatic Conditioner Sensitive really works for my rosacea clams it down straight away, I use a pea sized amount straight after cleansing at night. I don't know yet how well this moisturizer will suit my skin but the previous comments from other users about a glowing effect and a natural moist dewy skin do really seem to be true and no oily t zone! Will wait a few months to see the lasting effect before making a final judgement but so far v v happy.

Moisturizers -Chantecaille - Biodynamic Lifting Oil Free Fluid

I use this lotion when the weather gets too hot for my usual moisturizer. It gives my skin a lovely mat appearance (and believe me whe you have v. oily skin throughout the year thats a gift). Haven't noticed any dramatic lifting effect to my face as yet but as I said oil control is my big concern and this does the job. Bottle seems to last for ages too. Price is the big downside WAY too much to pay for a moisturizer but thanks to ebay you can get it for 30-50% off depending on the dealer.

A real night time lip gloss enhancing your natural colour with sparkle and shine, makes my whole face light up and looks amazing with smokey made up eyes. Along with my GA lip shimmer no. 21 for daytime this is my hg lip gloss for nightime.

Adore this lipgloss. It was an impulse purchase which I usually live to regret, but not in this case. Its perfect for my lips as an everyday shade and gives just the right amount of colour for daytime wear. The price is high but I justify it by considering the amount of money I have spent over the years on lipsticks and glosses which did not suit my skin tone. Have no hesitation in repurchasing, its become a staple in my daytime beauty routine.

My absolute fav. perfum, so different you really notice it in a crowd when all modern perfumes tend to have the same generic smell. It is as distinctive as Chanel No 5 or Shalimar, you can't mistake it for any other brand! Its sweet with undertones of sexy musk, cannot really explain but its wonderful and really lifts my mood. The bottle design could be improved on but I love the mirrored silver box. Its also hard to find which I guess makes it more exclusive. It divides people you either fall in love with it at once or hate it, I'm totally in love with it, my HG perfum

Great eye cream, got this as a sample with Guerlain Midnight Secret lotion which I LOVE. The price for the full sized jar is way too high which may be its only downside. The cream does not hurt my eyes and it has a lovely cooling sensation when I apply it to my skin. I will consider purchasing the full sized jar when the sample is finished but I will have to see a big benefit to justify the investment.

I really wanted to love this product after all the good reviews in mua and the hype in the magazines but it really didn't work with my skin. I recieved a sample which I started using at night after cleansing. My skin is prone to mild rosacea on my cheeks with an oily t zone which needs a product that will moisturise and calm down the rosacea and not block the pores or cause breakouts. I knew this was a heavy duty moisturiser and so saved it for night time use when it would be the most benefit to my skin. I used very little each time I applied it, but it seemed to make my rosacea flare up as soon as it touched my skin. In the morning I looked like I had a bad case of sunburn with red blotchy, stressed skin. I ran for my Avéne Cream for Intollerant skin to restore the balance to my skin. The full sized jar is so expensive if you have never tried it before get a sample first before you buy, it may work for you but sadly its not for me.

Conditioner -John Frieda - Sheer Blonde Moisturizing Conditioner

My hg conditioner for some time. I have heavy highlighted hair with dry ends and an oily scalp I only use this conditioner on the ends, keep it on for 5 min and it leaves my hair silky soft. I LOVE the smell which stays in my hair for a long time after styling. If my hair needs extra moisture or is stressed out from overstyling I use this and follow up with Revlon Equave 2 Phase Hydro Nutritive instant leave-in Conditioner. I cannot see myself changing anytime soon from this process, it works for me.
