I've been using the sephora sample in "honey" for under my eyes for a while now and loving it! I like that it's light coverage and blends smoothly into my skin, it works PERFECTLY for under my eyes. With that said, I decided to experiment and do my whole face (I'm testing out products with light coverage without a matte finish for my wedding in a couple weeks). So initially I applied a light amount and it had the perfect amount of coverage I was looking for. I brushed a little physicians formula correcting powder to dry it up faster and off I went. After about two hours I had to start blotting my face regularly throughout the day to get rid of the oil. The next day I applied a primer underneath to dry and get rid of the greasy face, a little more hello flawless than the previous day, and no PF corrector over the top. At the end of the day my face looked super orange from the oxidization. And I still had a greasy face. Conclusion for oily skin - stick to under the eyes.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast

Ugh so sad that I hate this product. I have thick and curly lashes to start with and I like a mascara that can add length. Every time I applied it I swiped it a million times on my lashes to try and get the tips of my lashes, but it wasn't adding the length that I wanted. I tried it for a couple weeks and was sick of applying it a million times in the morning. It did add volume to the base of my lashes but didn't really get the tips of my lashes. Anyways, I bought one for me and one for Mom, hope Mom had better results. Ended up buying Organic wear mascara by PF and had way better results.

Primer/ Corrector -Physicians Formula - Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Correcting Powder

I love this powder! I don't like to wear heavy makeup and this is perfect for covering up the redness on my face while still allowing my freckles to show through. This powder hasn't caused me acne like some other products I have used. If you want to cover the redness on your face then I highly recommend you try this product. By the way, the packaging is horrible. I use my own brush and never use the mirror because it doesn't make sense that it's underneath the powder.

Eyeliner -Rimmel - Exaggerate Liquid Eye Liner

Bold color that lasts all day! I can even wear this in the rain and be confident that once it's on my face it will stay put! I wish the brush was a little smaller and thinner so it doesn't get on my lashes when I apply it. Will probably try another product after this with a thinner applicator.

Lip Treatments -Cover Girl - Natureluxe in Tulip #205

I was looking for a spf chapstick with a hint of color. It's light and moisturizing, but not the most moisturizing product I've ever had. I actually bought a bunch of these for my bridesmaids and I wish I tried it out first (dumb I know but oh well). This is perfect for going over a lipstick to lighten it up. The color is a bit more frosty than I would have liked so I wouldn't wear it by itself (maybe I should have tried coral??). Also I don't like the packaging because if the color is not centered through the plastic tube it scrapes the side and makes the plastic tube look messy.

I love this stuff! I got it free for my birthday and it wears so smooth! It doesn't make my lips dried out. I don't wear heavy makeup and the tint is perfect for me! I like that it has spf so I can throw some on before I go for a run. If you are going for color, do not get this product. For a bit more color try natureluxe by cover girl (not as moisturizing though and has a frosty finish). I'm going to buy the berry today!!

Lip Treatments -Maybelline - Baby Lips lip balm

I bought this because I thought it would wear smooth like a chapstick with a light hint of color. When I applied it was smooth to put on, but my lips were dried out within 15 min. The color pink punch was a bit more bold than I anticipated (I don't wear a lot of makeup). I got one for my mom too and she hated it. I do not recommend this product. If you're looking for a chapstick with a hint of color a better choice would be cover girl natureluxe, the best would be sephora sugar lips!
